BUT I will NEVER go to her again. Jenn has NO RESPECT for clients time and has been so rude it's actually astonishing. I legit want to warn other people, because I wish I spent my time finding someone else instead of keep giving Jenn chances. So that I don't sound like a Karen - I've attached text receipts. Out of 5 appointments with her she's canceled on me last minute THREE times. This last time I pointed this out to her because I took off work to have this appointment before I had an event that coming weekend. I therefore planned to work Saturday and Sunday instead. She canceled 25 minutes before my appointment with no warning. Out of desperation, and her assuring me "I PICK THE TIME AND DAY" and she'd be there - I choose Sunday at 7pm and confirmed with her THREE times. She confirmed. I heard nothing from her leading up to the appointment so I figured everything was good to go. I left work an hour early to make sure that I was there by 7pm. When I pull up I see a text - no apology, nothing, at 605pm "it's Easter Sunday I can't make it tonight I can fit you in tomorrow". WHY would she agree to that appointment if Easter was a problem? Also she had 3 whole days to figure that out! And let me know!! This was also her appointment to "make it up to me". THEN SHE BLOCKED ME!! My texts were coming back green and when I called it went to voicemail so I had my boyfriend text her and it came back blue... I knew she blocked me. I have been nothing but understanding, kind and a loyal customer up until this point even though she's canceled on me multiple times leading up to this. She was also asked to leave her last salon so I think I might know why. I wouldn't go near her ever again. I've had more respectful interactions with the worst people. For now I will make super dark roots and platinum blonde hair the new TREND till I find someone else.

I naturally have natural blonde roots and grays, both I love and wished my previous stylist embraced that versus always telling I HAD to dye it to cover it all up. :( I kept asking for a base bump but it never happened. When I met Cristy for a consultation I told her my situation and how I am tired of dying my base. She totally agreed with me and knew exactly how to remedy the situation. She looked at my eye color and my skin tone and decided on exactly what blonde tones would be best for me. I should mention I had 4 months of growth at this point. So my natural roots were ALL out, baby! haha! I had a mess in the back as well with a hard copper band and only partial highlights. Ugh! It wasn't pretty. But Cristy cleaned all that up as well. I was so impressed with Cristy's professional knowledge. She is incredibly talented and yet incredibly humble and modest at the same time. She listens so well which is such an important trait to possess in a stylist. Even for my haircut I just told her I wanted a cleaning up dustying and NO razor. I like traditional layered cut since I have curly hair and that's exactly what she delivered. Yay! Kayla is a creative and dependable hair stylist, two very important qualities. Her style, energy, and life perspective is both unique and familiar at the same time. After each appointment I'm always grateful for our connection and conversation. The salon is located in a walkable neighborhood with plenty of street parking options, and it's near other services, shopping and dining. The salon is spacious with high ceilings and large windows that provide plenty of natural light. The vibe is casual and relaxed and there is always good music playing. She exposes me to new musical artists every single time! My hair health has improved since I started coming here and it's grown so much.
