They ensured everyone got to see turtles and in fact they headed a participant back just when we were being called back to the boat after discovering he didn't get to see turtles. There was plenty of snacks and drinks. Gears were complete - eye gear (with or without prescription which was helpful to those who wear glasses), and mouth pieces. The attention to detail was superb and attention to safety and ensuring everyone had fun was commendable!

We booked this Kaneohe Sandbar snorkeling tour after seeing many reviews describe it as…read morebeginner-friendly. As first-time snorkelers traveling with a child, our experience did not align with those expectations. Equipment distribution was poorly handled. Masks were handed out with little to no instruction, and basic questions were met with a rude and dismissive attitude. Overall communication and service were lacking. Once in the water, guidance was minimal and inconsistent. The experience felt rushed and disorganized, with limited support for guests who were new to snorkeling. The tone and treatment we received also made us uncomfortable as Asian guests. After sharing feedback, the company clarified in writing that they do NOT advertise or position this as a beginner-friendly snorkeling tour. Based on both that clarification and our experience, I would strongly recommend that beginners or families looking for clear instruction and attentive guidance consider other operators. Sharing this to help future guests set accurate expectations before booking.

So I took my grandsons, 8 yrs and 5 yrs. When we got there, I realized they accepted CASH ONLY. Went to Kualoa Ranch (1 mile away) to use their ATM. Got back in time for the tour. Needless to say, I thought I would get attitude from my 8 yr old. He's a gamer and would rather be on his DS or iPad. But he LOVED it. Even I was a bit skeptical but from the time we boarded the bus, the comedy began. Surprisingly, half our group was local. The other half, visitors from Wisconsin and Arizona. We all had a great time. Great tour of the farm and the various trees and plants. Didn't know it was a film location for so many movies. And the fire dance was up close. Lessons on making fire and husking a coconut were so interesting. Got to taste fresh coconut. All the while, the jokes kept coming, non-stop. It was time well spent. Highly recommend this tour for locals and visitors. But don't forget to bring cash. $20 Adults, ($15 kamaaina) and $10 for kids. Note, they used to have an ATM there but it was stolen. Auwe!

This is one of those stops that feels very "touristy Hawaii," but still worth doing at least once…read more The train ride was actually my favourite part because it gives you a nice easy way to see everything without overthinking it. The gardens are pleasant, but I do wish there was more fruit trees. The maze is massive. Like genuinely massive. It's fun at first but if you don't have patience, it quickly turns into frustration and I ended up bailing halfway through. The food overall was not great, but the Dole whip absolutely delivers and is worth the stop on its own. I also liked the small educational part about how pineapples can be decoratively cut and prepared because it gives the whole place a bit more meaning beyond just snacks and souvenirs.

Whether you're a…read morepineapple lover or just looking for a fun and relaxing experience, there's something here for everyone. The property is beautifully maintained, with gorgeous gardens to stroll through and plenty of opportunities to learn about Hawaii's famous pineapple industry. The pineapple plantation tour is informative and enjoyable, and the maze is a big hit with kids and families. I also loved that the marketplace features local artwork and products from local businesses, making it a great place to pick up unique souvenirs and support the community. There are plenty of tasty pineapple-themed treats, snacks, and lunch options to enjoy while you're there. It's the perfect quick stop while driving through the countryside--beautiful, family-friendly, and full of local charm. Definitely worth adding to your Oahu itinerary!
