Even though I've visited my brother a bunch of times over here, I still feel like I'm missing all the nooks and crannies of Oahu. There's a lot to explore. This is why this full-day 10-hour (5:30am to 3:30pm) tour was perfect. They picked us up at a nearby hotel since we were staying at an Airbnb and took us to a bunch of beautiful locations around Oahu. We did stop by a spot on the way for lunch. The drive was comfortable and it was mainly smooth terrain to walk around. I wore sneakers. Highly recommend this tour. It's worth $159/pp. They also offer half-day, food, and drink tours, and private tours. Overall Service: These guys were outstanding. We were with a group of 7 and they gave us enough time in each area. We never felt rushed and the guide would make his rounds to get to know everyone. Also provided tips to take memorable photos. When I come to visit again, I will have to check out their other tours.

Did the sunset tour. Andrew is wonderful! Such an awesome tour guide and instructor. I learned many tips and tricks from him using features/tools on my iPhone. He took some very nice photos which he sent to me via airdrop. I thought it was just a tour but it's almost like hiring a personal photographer to be with you on the tour, someone who knows the island quite well and is able to tell you fun facts and take you to some of the most beautiful spots for photos. I can't wait to come back to Oahu and take other tours with this company.

Our tour guide Nui was hands down the best tour guide I've ever had. She's extremely personable and knowledgeable about all things Hawaii. 10/10 would recommend. *Only complaint I have is that there is 3 sweet food stops. I would have liked one of those replaced with a savory spot. Having 3 is a total sugar bomb.

The best tour I had very fun and really good pictures. Emily the tour guide took care of all the details needed for a great tour. Thanks you Emily. Don't look anywhere else for your tours go here.

This had to be the best experience ever, Mac was our guy in charge for the day! He's super professional, organized, and experienced in what he's doing. Photography is a literal ART, & Mac gets it. Till next time! -Wednesday Addams

When we decided on the tour, it was more a last minute. Alex was super nice on the phone and guided me through the booking process for the private tour. We wanted it to be special for my mom that has never been to Hawaii before. The Circle Island Tour seemed to be the perfect tour for it. And Alex made it happen. :) June 2nd, Kurt came promptly to Aulani to pick us up for sunrise. It was super early, but his energy was more like energy bunny. He included us instantly in how to take amazing pictures, knowing that we are mere beginners. His patience and joy for life was palpable. It made this tour ever so better. He took us around the island that HE got to experience every day. This is what made it so much better. These impressions will last a lifetime. The sunrise and also flavors we got to experience were amazing. Sure, we could have gone to all the tourist spots, which we hit some of them as well. But it was the small intimate places that truly made a difference and left lasting impressions. Just for a day, we were part of Kurt's Ohana. And we are so very thankful that we took this amazing tour. We would recommend this to anyone!

We have been to Oahu many times over the years but have not seen many of the sites we saw on the Complete Island Tour and Sunrise Photo Experience. Mac, our guide, was energetic and informative throughout the all-day tour. He kept everyone in our group engaged with information and with each other. We appreciated his insights on photography and different features of our phone cameras which enhance the quality of our shots. We also were glad he shared all his photos of the day which included personalized shots of each one in the group. Highly recommended.

Our guide, Andrew, gave us a great day out even though it turned out to be gray and rainy! We saw a lot of beautiful areas around the island and he not only gave us tips for our own photos, but took lots of great, professional photos of us and shared them with the group as well. I highly recommend the Sunrise Tour! I am sharing a few of the photos I took myself.

I'll start by saying I highly recommend taking this tour. My wife and I were first timers on the island of Oahu and were eager to know "lay of the land". Alex, our tour guide did a great job of doing just that. He pointed out all the best beaches, restaurants / food trucks, historical sites, landmarks etc.. Alex gave us some history lessons about the island and we also had some all around great conversation. Oh yeah, have your cameras or cell phones ready for a ton of photo ops.

Yummy donuts and an energetic tour guide

Mac, our tour guide was an exciting, knowledgable, and energetic - AND HE DELIVERED a Great Tour! We had a group of three customers. We all had a great time, we got some yummy donuts, then 1. stop 1 shooting the Sunset on a beach -- WOW great location amazing pictures by all 2. Light painting - OMG this was a colorful experience and shooting was GREAT 3. We also did more light painting using lit steel wool swirled (safely) on the beach - SPECTACULAR! Luckily I brought my tripod and was shooting 30 second exposures to capture all images. Mac made the trip go from a scale of 1-10 go to a 15 suggestions to Oahu Photography night Tour maybe some tripods that can hold cellphones for customers to get that extra sharp photo at night

This is a six star experience.....hands down. I took my daughter on the 10 hour trip last Sunday so she could get tips on using her new Nikon. We signed up only the day before and fortunately there were openings. We checked weather before signing up to make sure we had a good day. DJ was a wonderful guide and teacher. He was engaging, knowledgable and patient with all skill levels. He taught different photo techniques at every stop along our route and had fascinating stories along the way. He even pointed out tropical birds, knew the names of the turtles and other animals. Everyone had a fancy camera except I just used my I-phone. DJ had tips for all cameras including my mobile phone. Our trip included sunrise and about a dozen stops around the island including east and north shores. He picked us up on time in a nice and comfortable van early in the morning. There were four of us on the trip plus DJ. We never felt rushed at any stop. We stopped at many interesting beaches, temples and trees along the route. I don't want to ruin it for you as each stop was a new adventure. I recommend the trip early on your stay so you can see the island. Bring your camera and phone. A telephoto lense helps but not required. DJ provides tripod or you can bring your own. Also bring sunscreen, water and wear sneakers or good sturdy shoes. You could pack some sandals for later in the trip. Shorts and a tee shirt are fine. We also stopped for breakfast, lunch and for a Dole whip at the Dole plantation. There were plenty of restroom breaks as well. We paid $170 per person which was with a bargain for the experience. We spent another $20 on food along the way. I highly recommend this excursion to get a great feel of the island plus learn a few techniques along the way.

While 'Im not much of a tour bus enthusiast, to ensure that my clients end up with a good one-- I decided to try Nui Tours. Unfulfilled promises by Jack (the owner): small group, Mercedes Van, all of the stops, snorkeling at a specific beach, we did not want to stop at certain places and were told we could customize, souvenir hats, 2 bottles of champagne, unlimited juices/snacks/drinks, and the discounted price per person. What we got: the bus was 30 minutes late, no one answers the phone number, HUGE OLD TOUR BUS (58 people), we did not get to choose our stops or how long we stopped somewhere, they had water bottles and Pringles (no juice/no champagne/no other snacks that were promised), and on top of several other things-- they charged us full price. WE ARE STILL AWAITING A REFUND of the amount that was overcharged. Jack has lied to us, taken zero accountability, and still refuses to answer the phone. I can't help to think that half of his warrants are for fraud at this point. There is no clear communication and several tour companies show up at the same location, so if you got suckered into these tours-- please verify with each driver to see if your name is on their list. Please choose a different touring company to support. If you have a car rented and need help planning your endeavors, feel free to reach out. Good luck out there!

I know the tour doesn't guarantee seeing wildlife, but it was disappointing hardly seeing anything in the glass bottom. To add, the glass bottom is just 4 boxes that you have to peek over to see. I didn't get seasick, so it was still nice to be out on the water and enjoying the views of the ocean. Prior to the incident, the captain was very educational and funny. Overall, had the tour been on a different day with more permitting weather, I think it would've been great.

But despite being called a "Dolphin and You" tour, there is only dolphin WATCHING from the boat -- no swimming with dolphins. They also only stop at one snorkel spot in shallow waters.m whereas most companies have you snorkel at 2. Maybe if I had never been on another tour, I would have thought this was good, but I'd only recommend this for people who want to mainly watch things from the boat and not snorkel. I honestly saw more marine life where I live in OC. On a previous tour with a different company, I swam in waters where dolphins were swimming all around and underneath me -- it was a core memory, and I was hoping to recreate that experience. They also don't let you swim very far from the boat, which made the experience feel overly restrictive. Because the website is not clear I will lay down the iternary: 6:00am pick-up from hotel (about 1.5 hrs to get there) Restroom stop at Fareharbor 1 hr dolphin watching--basically your just on a boat 1 hr snorkel--will see sparse fish 1 hr return--will give you sandwich and water cups no water bottles, temporary tattoo offered Return to hotel: another 1.5 hrs to drop everyone off etc Kind of waste of money $180+ and my precious vacation time. Also, be wary of the reviews. They offer incentives for leaving one. Sorry, but as a Yelp Elite, my honest opinion can't be bought.

We did the turtle tour on 5/13 at 8:30 in the morning. They teach everyone how to use the given gear, they antifog the goggles beforehand and sanitize all the gear well afterwards. They have snacks, water, and ginger ale. We saw two turtles within a couple arms lengths at the surface (you can't touch them but gosh they were so close!). We also saw about seven turtles chilling on the bottom. Tons of reef fish swimming so close to us too. The crew makes sure to point out turtles so you don't miss them. It was my first time in open water and the crew was welcoming from the start. They separate the groups so if you can't swim or are not great at swimming, you can stay back and hold onto a blue mat in the water where they teach you and help you feel comfortable in open water first. Even though I vomited afterwards (yes I took plenty of motion sickness medication ahead of time!), I highly recommend the experience. It's unlike anything else. The crew is so funny, they normalized not being able to swim well or motion sickness so you don't feel embarrassed. They get in the water with you (not all crews do!) and were super attentive, and encouraging. I felt safe enough that I was able to learn, get confident in the water and join the others and I still felt like I had plenty of great snorkeling time. Overall, GREAT company for actually seeing turtles! GREAT for inexperienced swimmers and people who get motion/sea sickness! If you're determined, you can still do it. The crew made me feel safe the entire time! You've got this, you only live once!

I didn't even get off the boat and my son already asked me "can we come back to this same boat again next time!" From the gate B, which is your entrance, make sure you read your additional info after your confirmation email, especially if you are taking a Uber or Lyft, or else you can get dropped off at the main area and have to walk and find gate B! It's a long walk if you do not specify, our u er drive was the one that asked me, what gate sir, or else you have a long walk. Thank god he asked us! So from the gate to the entire experience, it can be overwhelming, it's a lot to do, it's a ton of fun. I rated 4/5 for the snorkeling because it's open ocean vs doing this inside a "bay" You first get a cruise down the waters and learn about the city and the captain t Story tells you a lot of history and the buildings while we are cruising and then we turn around to the play and snorkeling areas! Wow! But knowing my kids they want to also PLAY! Thais is the boat, you have a water trampoline, a water floating board that you legit can lay on or stand on and play balance and or just lay, and a huge slide!!!!! Wow! And drink and snacks are included! We didn't even get a chance to grab a beer! lol (for additional $ on your own) Just look at the view and the photos. So this entire experience is just 5/5 We booked through TripAdvisor. This is 100% recommend, since this is also at open ocean, it's easier if you can swim and not afraid of the waters. They do offer life jackets and self blown floatation vests, your choice. Must do!!!!! See you next time!
