This review is certainly long overdue. Florists can be somewhat of a gamble in terms of reliability and design sense. We found Sarah to be absolutely wonderful to work with in terms of understanding our aesthetic, budget and delivering a gorgeous effort in a very timely manner. Our location was at a splendid home on the water in Duxbury. Sarah wisely suggested we incorporate the beautiful natural foliage of the landscape into a modest design which flanked our ceremony spot. For inside the tent she came up with a modern and vibrant gerbera daisy centrepiece idea which complimented our linens and furniture. My bouquet was again, lovely. Sarah is a great listener and can come up with fantastic ideas on the spot. She manages to make everyone feel like their day is the most important thing, whether you are coming in to plan a wedding or dashing in to pick up whatever lovely stems are on offer. I highly recommend Consider the Lilies as one of the best Boston area floral designers. Lovely to work with, kind and super professional. read more

Sarah did a PHENOMINAL job with the flowers for our wedding at the Taj Boston. They were PERFECT! So many people complimented about them, including the make up artist and staff at the Taj. Though I would prefer to keep this shop a secret, Sarah deserves all the accolades. She is so professional and so pleasant to top it all off!!! We used he flowers and ferns for the ceremony then the centerpieces and then for breakfast the following morning ! Then we were able to share the beautiful flowers with our family and friends who took them home. Throughout the event people were asking who did the flowers? I cannot say enough how delighted I was with the arrangements Sarah put together for my sons Backyard wedding at our home in Duxbury. Despite an unfortunate event that caused a delay and re scheduling Sarah was there for us when we needed her. Everything she does is so Unique, she has a very creative touch that makes every piece really stand out. we were very happy and I have gone back to her shop for every occasional piece needed since. We had a tent wedding by the beach and once we told her the look we were going for she was full of great suggestions! Consider the Lilies was amazing! We were so pleased with our flower arrangements. Sarah, the owner of the shop, was able to capture exactly the look we wanted. During our consultation, she was thorough and creative. She made a very loose sample of the types and colors of flowers that would be used in the arrangement from what she had on site. We used Consider the Lillie's Florist because someone recommended them and we were extremely happy. Sarah worked with our budget and managed to give us exactly what we envisioned. At the last minute I placed an on-line order for a Valentine's Day arrangement for my mother who lives in local retirement home. I had placed an order with 1-800-flowers for same day delivery. They called me at 5:00pm to tell me my order didn't make the last delivery truck. I called Consider the Lillies in a panic and they were able to create a beautiful display and deliver that day! Over a week later, the flowers still look beautiful.
