I saw Dr. Khalid who spent very little time with me, and when I told him I used to smoke marijuana (possibly a factor with my problem), he got mad and demanded to know why, apparently forgetting that I was paying him. So I spent a minute or two explaining why I had smoked it, then he scheduled me for a endoscopy and a colonoscopy, even though I wasn't due for a colonoscopy (I found out later). Then the office lady told me I had to see a cardiologist, and she got a mail order prescription pharmacy involved. They rushed me through. I left the office feeling disrespected and depressed. So they're more concerned about making money than providing needed services. I then made an appointment with Dr. Todd Moore, who told me I wasn't due for a colonoscopy for anther year (he had my records), and who seemed to know more about my problem than Dr. Khalid. read more

And when you do call to see what's going on on their end, they have excuses and say that they're days out from scheduling and there's a lot of people ahead of you. Are you kidding me?! Like most medical facilities these days, they rush you through like cattle. My first impression was good and I seemed to get good care and good results, but a pre-consultation was required which seemed to be totally unnecessary and amounted to instructions for taking the colon cleanse. They followed up with an email that would have sufficed. At the end of the procedure they suggested a follow-up visit 30 days later. This amounted to 5 minutes with a nurse, 4 minutes with a doctor and lightened my wallet of $150. We'll call it 15 minutes total interaction since the nice lady up front spent probably 6 minutes on asking items of Covid protocol and the usual info as well as informing me that this wasn't a covered visit and that the charge would be $150. Conservatively speaking that is $600 per hour. How was this coded and what would insurance pay if an insurance co if one was involved? $85? $95? And why would a self-pay patient need to pay MORE than what is usual, reasonable and customary for an insured individual? No paperwork to speak of. No insurance to file. I was referred to this group for a colonoscopy by my internal medicine group. The office staff was totally courteous and professional from the required paperwork, pamphlets to explain the whys, expectations, and suggestions pre procedure and afterward. The day of the procedure, the intake nurses were pleasant and introduced themselves and answered any questions I had as did the anesthesiologist, and Dr Khalid. I did not feel rushed or uncomfortable in any way. I have had the procedure a few times before, but this practice was the least stressful for me. read more

At first appointment, the doctor was very nice, and obviously very knowledgable. But, then he had different doctor do my colonoscopy that he had ordered, and that dr seemed to literally care less. Afterwards, he didn't even come into the room to answer any of me and my families questions. Then, the first DR I saw never called to check up, and I've left numerous messages to try and figure out further steps in my treatment plan, and never received a call back. Furthermore, my pharmacy sent them an authorization form a month ago they STILL haven't signed and sent back. You're better off going elsewhere if you want a doctor that follows up and cares. read more

This business simply makes appearances for your $. They take no time to understand your issue and appears they cannot get rid of you fast enough. Zero compassion is displayed and correct orders are not sent as they should be to have blood work done. I'm very disappointed in this so called professional service. I had an appointment through recommendation with my primary care dr. But the pain got worse so I called to see if t hey had a cancelation, the got me in right away. I was worried that I had a hernia after another surgery last Feb. They got me in to a CT scan the same day as well, got all the approval with my insurance right away.. with in a week I'm in for quite a few procedures, one of which is a referral to a surgeon to yes, fix a hernia which has been the cause of my pain. The staff has been wonderful in helping me get FMLA paperwork, dr's notes for work excuses before FMLA went in, scheduling everything so quickly that I didn't have to deal with the pain longer than necessary. I was referred to this group by my primary physician after she put me on acid reflux meds which did not provide relief. My first appointment was with a physician's assistant that basically consisted of her confirming they want to do an endoscopy. The endoscopy was a very "factory" experience. I talked to the doctor for about 3 minutes and his attitude was cold and mechanical. All results were negative from the endoscopy and they set up a follow up appointment. The follow up appointment was again with a physician's assistant. She did not give me any information other than the results I already had. She did not offer any suggestions for treatment, relief, future testing, anything. I asked about an elimination diet and was told she didn't know, she wasn't a dietician. It was a complete and utter waste of time and money. I sought a second opinion and the second GI doctor (yes, I spoke with the actual doctor) was surprised to see that in the endoscopy they only biopsied one section of my small bowels rather than the "best practices of 4 sections". I was given NO plan to help diagnose, treat or get relief from my symptoms. I went to an allergist on a suggestion from a friend. He gave me a different acid reflux medicine and it is helping immensely. How frustrating that the GI doctor didn't think about maybe just switching meds before the expense and time of the endoscopy and two wasted office visits. read more
