When I…read morefirst moved to Pittsburgh, there was basically not much there and now it is packed from end to end with a huge variety of businesses. There is a huge parking lot (paid) behind the entire building and there are metered spaces in the front. They often host events like outdoor fitness classes, farmers markets and car shows. It really is amazing that you could mini golf, get a facial, drink wine or beer, eat delicious food, shop for books or grab a coffee all within a small area. There are several cut through areas which make it more manageable to get to your desired location from the parking lot. The biggest downside to me is that I wish there were more local businesses. While there is nothing wrong with chains, the Strip is such an important part of Pittsburgh's history that I wish it contained more independent businesses and restaurants and less chains.

Shake Shack is also located here. Novo Asian Food Hall is also part of The Terminal as is City Winery. There are also fitness studios, a bookstore, jeweler, and more. Aslin Beer Co. is also at The Terminal. Lots of new places being added. Some of us were resistant to these changes but it seems yinzers and tourists alike are finding love or at least likability for this relatively new space.

I walked in the place is pretty big and they had wall to wall merchandise. Unfortunately at the moment it was not merchandise that I se;ll. I do mostly health and beauty. J Marcus Wholesalers sells strickly pittsburgh team stuff the penguins , steelers , pirates. Some one came over to me right away and was very nice and friendly. This is a great place to get plates, napkins, matching plastic silverware, and tablecloths for any occasion. I also have purchased their small clear plastic decorative cups when I made pudding cups or cheesecake shooters that were individual serving sizes. They have plastic wine cups too that are great for large parties when you don't want to use all your glassware. Most recently I have visited here to get balloons filled. I didn't know that they offered this service until I called to check. I already had the balloons and ribbon, but they suggested I drop them off earlier in the day and then pick them up around 4:00 before they close, and before my event started. The latex balloons only last about 6-8 hours. It cost only about $1 to fill up each balloon. The drop off/pick up process was smooth and the workers there are SO nice! I don't know the guy's name that has done my balloons the last two times, but he is the best! So friendly and makes it easy! He even puts the balloons in a bag so they are easy to get in the car. They returned the extra balloons and ribbon both times. None of the balloons popped, and they all held up during the full events. I am so happy to find this local place that is close to the city and convenient for my events. I definitely recommend stopping in here just to check it out!

If they make it in black and gold, this place probably has it. They have a decent selection of shirts, hats and apparel. I was even able to find a coat on sale in a 4X, a size that is typically hard to find anywhere. They also had a large assortment of Pittsburg sports related trinkets. Everything from jewelry to "man cave" signs. The craziest find for me was the "my cat purrs black and gold" magnet. There are always tons of dog products and cats are usually left out, so I enjoyed being able to purchase something related to both the Steelers and cats. Before you visit, take note that they do not accept credit or debit cards. They do have an on site ATM and also accept checks. Overall, a great store to visit if you aren't sure what to get your favorite sports fan. You may just find a hidden gem like the above mentioned cat magnet.

So it is very disappointing that the store has to morph into a touristy shop. The hookah and culture items make sense somewhat, but the Harry Potter and Star Wars themed soap bars just seem like a gimmick that takes away from the true essence of the store. If you like hummus, you should definitely grab a container of the fresh made. But honestly, I doubt many people stop here based on the appearance.
