I really enjoy that the pasta is fresh and the menu isn't 40 pages long. It's straight to the point and you know what you're getting based on what is listed under the pasta shape. My short rib ricotta gnocchi was good but I do wish it had a bit more salt to bring more of the flavor to the front. The gnocchi texture was perfect and pillowy. The short rib mixed in nicely with all of the pasta and the sauce. My spouse enjoyed the cannelloni, which was pretty much their lasagna but also wanted a bit more salt. Our server was very nice and walked us through the menu options as well as told us about the seafood special for the night. The bread came out first and was delicious. The salad was also good and I don't usually like arugula. You could tell the ingredients were fresh and I enjoy that they take the time to do that. The space is very cute and you can't really miss it even with it being in an executive building. It's a smaller area but it can seat a good amount of people. We noticed they had a pasta making class so maybe next time we're in town, we can do it. The red sangria had a great balance where it wasn't too sweet. We didn't do dessert but we did enjoy the digestif at the end with limoncello and my spouse ate the amaretti cookies as I couldn't.

The pasta shapes are unlike anything else you'll find in Western PA. They even offer complimentary limoncello and Amaretti cookies to end your meal, which is a really nice touch. They have family style options for groups who want to try a variety of dishes, but the menu is just as fitting for a date night. Bonus: the leftovers taste just as good the next day! The space can get a bit loud with high ceilings and a full house, but the lively energy reflects how much people are enjoying the experience. Service was friendly and helpful with suggestions. The owner even stopped by tables to check on guests. It's tucked inside an industrial park and may be a little tricky to find if you're unfamiliar with the area, but GPS and signage get you there without much trouble. Definitely worth the visit!

Highly recommend the Fontana Peppers appetizer...I think that was the name. Sautéed peppers broiled with a light crust of cheese. Fantastic! House salad was the perfect size for me (loved the blue cheese dressing) and my husband enjoyed his bacon and turkey sandwich. I'm sad we don't live closer--the menu is extensive and I'd have loved to try more of it. Fancy and glitzy, it's not, but don't let that fool you--the food is fresh, there are healthy options, and portions are generous. Can't wait to pass through here on a future road trip.

Adding a steak to a salad was $8 and the steak was finely chopped to hide its quality. So a salad with steak cost me $20! Absolutely wrong! The salad is big in size but low on quality and variety. No cherry tomatoes, no onions, no peppers very few carrots. The ranch dressing was lacking in taste and very, very thin. The salad contains mostly pieces with the ribs through the center. Not the highest quality at all. Only one variety of lettuce. The menu is not very big and it lacks variety of choices and enhancements. I probably would not recommend this to a friend and probably won't return. It is still the same basic place It was 40 years ago. It will not give you warm and fuzzy feelings....it is a bar with a small side area. There's way too much competition in North Huntington to consider this a valid choice for the little it offers. Nothing here causes it to rise beyond average.

The food was seriously nothing to come back for. I got the pasta Rosa, and it was seriously just pasta and sauce. Nothing else. Which would have been fine as a side but I was expecting it to be phenomenal in order for it to stand on its own as an entire dinner entree. My husband got the restaurants "favorite" - the pasta amato...he said it lacked flavor and the chicken wasn't seasoned at all. He did like the peas as an addition in the pasta though. Ugh and the tiramisu--gosh, I am so sick of restaurants thinking they're making tiramisu and they are not. Stop false advertising!!! It was a wetter vanilla cake with a hint of alcohol-- not worth it. Needless to say, We won't be coming back. I don't understand how this place has such high of a rating to be honest. It's like people in Westmoreland county have never had superb Italian food, meanwhile you could throw a rock and hit a pasta joint on any corner. I'm giving it a 2 because it was edible.

Not sure what was going on a few short years ago, but I think things have changed a bit in here. This sits off 30 and is easy to get to when you are driving through the area. It is in a plaza with different services that should make for an easy one stop shop all around. There is even a bank attached that can aid in you one stop shop. The store itself feels a bit cavernous. Maybe that's why it feels like there are rarely any customers in here. The aisles also seem to be ones that aren't as tall as other grocery stores. I was able to see over into the other aisle while shopping for what I needed. But, honestly, when I stopped, there were more than enough people in here shopping to make it feel like they were desperate for customers. I had a few items I needed to get and hoped that by stopping here I would be able to finish up for the day and be on my way. I searched and searched and came across a few of the items, but not my entire list. As for the customer service, I happened to notice that the employees helped when asked and didn't do it in a nasty way. They were out stocking shelves and helped when needed. The highlight for me was that they have the self serve registers. This makes for a quicker exit as you can scan and pay at your speed and be on the way.
