I bought StarMark cabinets through Consumer's Kitchen and Bath. They are awful - drawers don't sit flush to the cabinet, drawer fronts are bowed out, seams are sloppy and there are glops of paint on the cabinet surface. They replaced all of the upper cabinet doors but I had to pay the contractor to change them all out. Save your money and go to Home Depot. read more

The Consumers response to this review is not accurate . WHO FILES A CLAIM FOR AN INCIDENT IF THERE WAS NO INCIDENT? NO ONE! All Island decided later to change their tune and say nothing at all happened in my home . There were no other parties involved in work . The contractor admitted they were at fault and consumers agreed . When the insurance company questioned All Island for details About the incident that they filed a claim for .... All Island decided to change their tune and say there was never an incident.. therefore killing the " investigation "... which was never an investigation. Consumers found out that All Island was lying about what they told their insurance and rather than stand up for their customer and ask All Island to admit to the insurance company that there was an incident ... they chose to stand by their contractor despite the lies and turn their back on their customer. They have told me they know that All Island was at fault based on the actual investigation of emergency plumbers on site but refuse to do anything . It is not true that an investigation lead to a denied claim... the contractors filed a claim ( which no one would do unless there was an incident ) and then later claimed that there was not an incident at all... and Consumers stands by them and sends them out everyday to more unsuspecting victims . read more

My husband and I have had an absolutely horrendous experience at consumer Kitchens & Baths PATCHOGUE with representative "salesman" Michael and his Manager Brian. I do not recommend this location. After being to the store twice a half hour each time to pick out two cabinets Michael told me he "wasn't gonna do any more work for me for free". His manager, Brian, who was supposed to help us in lieu of Michael. Who we didn't want to deal with anymore does not return emails or phone calls. It's a very strange situation it's as if they don't want our business and at this point they're not gonna get it. i've never experienced such terrible sales people. read more

Very busy on the weekend. Nobody even looked at us for 30 minutes. Then we were told to take a ticket after 30 minutes and they still hadn't even moved up one person. Unfortunately, we will be going with someone else for our full bathroom remodel now. I was casually looking in Consumers Kitchens and baths over the summer. One of the sale people, Michael Miester came over to us. He spent a lot of time with us. He knew everything about every cabinet manufacturer. He could look at the door, and tell you every feature, every detail. I never met someone that knew so much about his products. A number of months later when I purchased my home, I went back to Michael because of his knowlegde, and his patience. If you had a certain situation in your kitchen, he knew what manufacture would be best for that situation and what manufacturer could not accommodate your issue. I recently placed my kitchen order with Michael. I will have my new kitchen sometime in June. I was so totally impressed with Michaels communication and his expertise of the products. Save your money. Purchased custom cabinetry. Not cheap by any means. Construction was terrible and paint job was beyond poor. One of the cabinets was completely destroyed upon arrival. I did purchase countertops there as well. That part of the experience was exceptional. They were on time and the product is stunning. read more

After waiting 18 weeks for my kitchen cabinets that cost $35K+ from the location in Patchogue NY. I had multiple problems with the order. The side panel next to the fridge was wrong, the panel should have been 26" but instead received 24". We were missing a filler panel of 6". And cabinet that is on our island was wrong as well. When entering our appliances the designer entered the wrong model # and because of that the opening was way to large to fit the correct appliance. Now, more than 3 weeks later, we finally get the replacement order and to our surprise what we were told isn't what we got and is still wrong. Why? because they don't listen and didn't take the time to stop by and look or to even really understand the problem. They are the absolute worst, don't waste your time and money on incompetence!! 7/24/24 They get zero stars. This company screw us badly. I am beside myself with grief as they ripped us off with a whopping $1100.00 selling us a shotty shower kit. Dan insisted this was a great "all brass" faucet and body. We come to find out that it was so bad, the plumber thought we bought it off Amazon. A plumber who installs 200-300 shower bodies a year said this was a pos. We trusted and we got burned badly. They will not stand behind the sale and now I am out over a thousand dollars. We were delayed 3 weeks waiting for this shower kit only to learn that Consumer Kitchen and Bath was in arrears with the Isenburg company and wouldn't release the faucet to them! It took 3 weeks to come clean with us. Because of that delay we had to wait an additional 6 weeks to get back on the calendar with our contractor. We are taking this matter to the BBB. I will never step foot in this rip off business and I hope I saved someone from their BS salesmanship. Liars. Buyer beware!!! Patchogue location. read more

My first experience with Consumers was at their location on Veterans Hwy.,in Holbrook or Sayville, decades ago. I bumped into the manager Brian again at their location on Rt.27 Patchogue. This was a bigger project for us and Brian kept a close eye on things and I'm glad he did. There were a few twists in planning along the way and that's not unusual with planning. What made things great now, as well decades ago, Consumers made themselves available at all time and made my life a breeze. I'm blown away with how the kitchen and dining room turned out. The cabinets are beautiful and I wouldn't shop for Kitchens or Baths anywhere else. Consumers, thank you!!!! read more

My husband and myself went to Consumers Kitchens & Baths for our new kitchen. We had sat down with a few other company designers before we went there. Knowing the kitchen would be the first thing seen walking into our open floor design, It was very important that it was done correctly. We met with a kitchen designer from the Patchogue location named Michael Meister. He was extremely knowledgeable and patient as we asked many questions about all the different styles of cabinets, woods, accessories that we were interested in. He helped narrow down and guided us towards a design that would work best for our floor plan and needs. After speaking with him the first time we knew he was the best choice to help us. We scheduled a appointment to come back a week later after the measurements were taken. This time Michael was even more thorough and diligent, taken time to make sure every detail was correctly done. We ended up having a kitchen design that was not only beautiful in appearance but it flows for entertaining and is also useful! He sincerely wanted to have us to be happy with the outcome hitting all the marks. Although our main goal was to get the perfect kitchen we never want to feel we are overpaying, Michael did not disappoint in that area either. He was able to apply a few discounts to our price making us even more satisfied with our choice. We realized the price for a new kitchen is high everywhere, we consider it a investment for our home we didn't think the price would be a noticeable difference from the other prices we had gotten, but it was. All and all going to Consumers was a excellent choice to get our kitchen design and cabinets, they have a decent price and a huge selection. However, more importantly and the real reason we actually bought there was because of the assistance Michael Meister gave us. You would think that this big investment would be overwhelming, but he made us feel secure about our choices and made it exciting and fun :) I can't wait to see it Michael! read more

AVOID at all costs if you place any value on customer service & accountability. We hand delivered our kitchen design to them and placed & paid for a $42,000 cabinetry / countertop order. Initial delivery was delayed multiple times with no restitution offered. Order finally came but showed up with several damaged items as well as missing items that were critical to the finished product of our kitchen. Countertops could not be installed due to the missing / damaged items. Plumbing, backsplash tile, electric all delayed as a result. No one from Consumers has taken responsibility or offered a concession. No initiative to rectify or tell me what they're doing to see the process through. This is not a couple week ordeal. I'm talking months and months of delays despite being paid in full and encountering no issues on our end. Everything that has gone wrong has been with them and the manufacturer. The rep I worked with is decent enough but clearly has ZERO pull and no one more senior at Consumers has stepped up to the plate to help. It's a joke. My advice would be to avoid Consumers and pay a little more if you have to to go with a company that will see the process through. Again $42,000 and I don't have a finished product 8 months now along. read more
