He offered to try to recover some information from a Dell hard drive that had gone belly-up. However, after giving him plenty of time (2+ wks) to recover the data, I decided it must be unrecoverable and left a message to pick up the hard drive (they don't really have a walk-in location - it's best to let them know you're coming over). It's now been over six weeks and no one will answer the phone or reply to my texts. The voice mail message gives no indication that they're out of business, but then why the unprofessional attitude? If things change or there's a good excuse for not calling me back and/or returning my hard drive, I'll re-post. Otherwise, look elsewhere for your computer repair needs. 2012: Found out the delay was due to a death. Yep, that's a good excuse. He said he would mail the drive back to me. However, it never happened. We'll probably use a computer repair service closer to home.

My husband's company used RUR for years until they hired their own computer guy, but they had only good things to say about them.
