I had digital perm done awhile ago which turned out pretty, and i went back for hair cut Their website indicated 40+ but i never expected to pay $55 for just hair cut Reason being was my hair was long.. i thought generally price went up due to inflation but people around me were saying that was too pricy and i called some places some were charging $30 for the length of my hair So $55 was too much definitely I called the place again and asked for explanation for the price It was because my hair was long and takes up more time etc It only took 30mins.. and I didn't ask to cut length but trimmed down to make it neat I am not sure if the cut was particularly worth $55 read more

Came here twice once for a cut and since i loved it so much i got my hair balayage. I have recommended my sister and a few friends who also received services and loved the outcome. As a Korean American there are few individuals who are not fluent in English however they try their best to communicate to you and i have had no problems communicating with them in full on English (i am not fluent in Korean) As far as my hair goes i love my hair and i can't wait to go back to get my hair touched up. If you have any questions on the pricing they are very upfront about it and have no issues clarifying any questions you may have. The quality of cut and color are phenomenal and the staff is the nicest staff i have encountered at any salon. This isn't your great grandmother's perm... Had my first digital perm experience with Jessica on opening day, which was a week and a half ago. It was unlike anything I've ever experienced and now that I have had time to wash and style my hair, it certainly won't be my last. Jessica cut and styled my hair before beginning the digital perm, to remove some weight (I have thick hair follicles and a lot of hair). [Note: Haircuts are included in the price of the perm.] The digital perm was gentle on my hair and did not reek of the perm chemical smell that I usually have after getting perms. My hair doesn't feel or look fried, like it was burned with a curling iron. It feels soft, healthy and like my natural hair but with more texture now. I absolutely love how my hair turned out! Jessica and her staff were incredibly friendly, professional and communicative. In fact, Jessica kept encouraging me to clarify what I wanted by using pictures so that she could give me exactly what I wanted. We talked for at least 20 minutes deciding on which style to go with and I'm so grateful that we did. The salon is clean, comfortable and state-of-the-art with all their equipment. Finding a good hair salon has always been very difficult. I have been always pretty skeptical after so many bad experiences with cuts and perms that I got to a point where I just stuck with a simple layered cut and was a bit afraid to try anything else. There are many places that advertise that they can do "digital perms" but they really don't do a good job, your hair gets super dry and damaged because of improper handling and it sucks because you have to wait months for it to grow out. I decided to give Conte a shot because of all of the good reviews I've read and after looking through many of their IG photos to see what they have done for other people. Although it is a Korean hair salon, they service all types of hair. Being that I have thick Korean hair, I've tried American places and the stylists would have a difficult time cutting my hair. I've tried places in Chinatown which were okay. I've also tried cold perms and digital perms and they could never get the results that I anticipated. The results were generally a perk that my grandmother would get (not suitable for a young person). From the moment of booking my appointment online to the final result, Conte far exceeded my expectations. If you are looking for a digital perm, go with Jessica. Honestly if you are looking for anything, go with Jessica! She is absolutely a sweetheart, she's funny, she is quick with her hands and she is very skilled. Due to covid, my hair was just a total mess, and not sure if anyone else experienced difficulty getting an appointment but Jessica accommodated to my schedule and communicated with me very well up until my appointment, which I really appreciated. My friend and I both got cuts and digital perms done and we were both super happy with the results. She went above and beyond and even added permanent volume because my hair is so thick and weighs down. My hair doesn't feel dried out or damaged, it feels light, healthy and refreshing! The price is slightly above average but it is very reasonable considering Jessica's expertise and how she goes above and beyond.
