The proof is in the pudding. All is, as it should be, thanx to your well staffed (Dr. Toback/Hilda)…read moreorganization. Having been through this basic procedure before there were few unknowns post op which is a real help. If I think of something that would be beneficial to a client I will past it along. These procedures are not a "walk in the park" by any stretch of your imagination. Having said that, the two weeks to get your mouth back on line is just that; two weeks. Not very long when you know the results are with you for a very long time and the consequences of not having this done are dire at best. If you are are need of this type of surgery, I would highly recommend a consultation with Shoreline and their staff. You will find the staff and the facilities to be top notch in all regards. To strengthen this opinion I will be making another appointment in the near future.

The check was not received in 60 days now but promised in 3 weeks. No one seems to know what is going on at your branch in Middletown regarding this. They say the check is in the mail but months pass and no refund was ever received. They don't return calls over there either. Can you speak to someone in your Middletown staff to facilitate this. This is the most unprofessional behavior I have ever experienced from any dental company. Please resolve this asap, TY. Just ask them to send the check out for the $450.00 you guys owe me or find out why they are dragging their feet here. They will know who it is. Sorry for the bad review, but you guys earned it.

It took this Dental Group weeks to verify my insurance. I finally was able to make an appointment. I went in to see the dentist, and after a lot of deliberation, over a treatment plan, we arrived at a plan was satisfactory to me, and the dentist agreed to which was to give me a crown and a partial. I had a partial made at my own expense with the former dentist. I had set because he did not crown my back tooth, I had problems. I went to the dentist out of network that told me I needed to get that tooth crown. Unfortunately I couldn't see him because he was not a network. After coming up with the perfect dental plan for me, the dentist went to lunch and decided during lunch, that he was not going to give me a crown because he did not want the temporary partial I had made, which is only to be used for a short period of time, and not meant for the long term. He changed his mind because he wanted that temporary partial to fit me forever when it's going to end up in the garbage. So he changed his mind about my dental plan, but never consulted me. He had his receptionist called me and cancel my appointment till they could verify Everything even though I had already told them that the partial had been approved. To have a receptionist, call you and not even a dental assistant, and informed me that the dentist changed his mind and not consult with a patient is unacceptable in any field of dentistry. I would seriously think twice before going to this establishment. You never know what you're going to get. His behavior was remarkably unprofessional. I found a new dentist and I'm very happy with her!

Recently however, I had a very negative experience that has made me switch to another dental group. I never had any issues with paying any dental bills and in fact at times had credits on my account as me or my husband, (who was also a patient until last week), had paid a balance as directed by the front office only to have our duel insurances cover more than expected Resulting in an account credit. Last week I went in for the last part of a root canal which was just to get the permanent crown affixed. I had paid half of my balance previously and owed $208.00 at the visit in Dec 31st. My appointment was at 8:30 in the morning for which I was on time. I was greeted by the assistant and ready to go back when the girls behind the desk pointed to the computer and read something and then told me I needed to pay before I saw the dentist. Id never been requested to do this and I asked why I would pay prior to services being performed? An office worker assured me that this was the new office procedure going forward. I'd brought my debit card with me and tried to process the payment. It was declined as my bank had put a temporary hold on my account due to "suspicious activity" Over the holiday which was unknown to me but common for the bank to do to protect customers accounts against fraud. I tried multiple phone numbers for the bank and the number on the back of my card to request that they remove the block however, nobody was available until the bank opened at 9:00 a.m. in the meantime, one of the office workers said she would check with the dentist to see if he would see me in the meantime until I got my card squared away. She came back from checking and relayed that I couldn't go back until I paid first. This was very disheartening as I never had any issues paying for any services. I sat in the waiting room for a half hour until my bank opened and then left to go to the bank, got cash and brought it back to the office and paid. I was then seen by the dentist for the ten minute appointment. I found it odd that when I was told it was a new policy of the practice, as I was waiting to be seen, two patients came out and were charged AFTER their appointments. I mentioned this to the office worker (who has been there a while) and she said, "if it's for a cleaning or something like that we charge after but for a crown we charge up front". The whole situation was unpleasant and unprofessional. I fully understand that dentists need to get paid as any business does but this was unwarranted and unnecessary. To be treated in this manner was very unexpected and disheartening.
