I needed free-backing drum brakes installed on my boat trailer, along with all the wiring. My trailer originally didn't have brakes, and I thought it would be a simple project--but I was completely wrong. I found this company on Google, gave them a call, and just three days later they came out to do the installation. My first impression was excellent. They were friendly, professional, and even cracked a few jokes while explaining exactly what they were going to do and how long the job would take. Their work truck was clean, they were well-organized, and all three technicians were professional and respectful. I left them working in my garage while I went to work, and when I came home a few hours later, everything was finished. The installation was outstanding. My garage was spotless, the brake system looked professionally installed, and all the wiring was neatly hidden inside the trailer frame instead of hanging underneath. The attention to detail really stood out. I've already put a few hundred miles on the trailer and launched my boat several times, and everything has worked flawlessly. Called and spoke to Rosendo. I provided him with the part number for a counter balance spring unit…read morefor a roll up door. He says he has it. I get there and he tried to give me a broken used looking one and a helper guy tells him that one is no good and brings out a different one that is not the correct part. I tell him it's not the right one. Different part number, different spring, thicker spring. Different length. He insisted it was the right one and that it will work. I don't trust that he is fixing the trailers here properly with his mentality. With the wrong spring, the person that has to open and close a roll up door many times a day will know the difference. This guy doesn't understand when a customer wants a specific part number that the part manufacturer provided. Later Manuel tries to help and give me a counter balance that is too short. Do yourself a favor and avoid these guys. Going direct to the manufacturer for the correct part at a better price.

Nick's Mobile came through when I needed it most…read more I was at Bonelli Bluffs the weekend before Halloween and my new trailer suddenly lost shore power. Not the kind of problem you want to deal with on a trip. I called Nick and he responded right away. He made time to come out the same day. He diagnosed the issue quickly and knew exactly what was wrong. The automatic transfer switch had failed. Instead of delaying the repair, he tracked down the part himself, picked it up, and came back to install it. That level of effort matters when you are on a tight timeline. The repair was clean and professional. Power was restored and my entire weekend was back on track. What could have been a ruined trip turned into a great one. He did not stop there. He worked through the warranty process and made sure the repair was covered. I ended up fully reimbursed by the manufacturer. That saved me money and a lot of hassle. Nick goes above and beyond. I live in Simi Valley and he is in West Covina. My problem was not an easy fix, based on all of his suggestions and coaching. He came out to Simi, in the evening and diagnosed my problem. I basically needed a new fridge. He set me up with a place to order, he picked it up and brought it out at 6:45 in the evening and replaced my refrigerator. Oh, there is more. He called my service insurance company and recouped 1/2 of the cost the day my policy expired. In addition, after replacing the fridge, he looked over our RV, got on the roof, gave advice and gave a can of self leveling seem sealer to put on the corners of our roof. I hired this company to diagnose an issue with my RV slide and paid $200 for the service call…read more Their conclusion was that the motors needed to be replaced, and I was told they would follow up with a quote for parts and labor. Instead, I contacted BAL, the manufacturer of the slide system, directly. BAL recommended a retrofit repair kit as the proper fix, which I purchased myself for $160. That kit includes two new motors. Once I had the OEM-recommended parts, I asked this company for a labor-only quote. After multiple follow-ups, they declined to even provide one, stating their technician "has not had good luck" with these retrofit kits and that they were not comfortable performing the repair. That's the part I find most frustrating. The retrofit kit still involves replacing the same motors they originally diagnosed as failed. If they were not comfortable performing the manufacturer-recommended repair, that should have been disclosed upfront -- before I paid for a diagnosis and spent time sourcing the solution myself. I appreciate their honesty in ultimately admitting their limitations, but that honesty came after the fact, not before. In the end, I paid $200, got no repair, no quote, and no clear path forward until I handled it myself. Future customers should ask upfront whether the technician is experienced with their specific slide system and whether they are willing to quote labor separately before paying for a diagnosis.
