Dan's a really cool guy and helped me out a lot with replacing my EGR and even found an extra problem from a half assed job done by someone else who serviced my truck. He really provides great detail as to what's causing the problem for the truck and he works really fast. Avoid this so called "diesel specialist" more like "what the h*ll am I doing specialist". The initial problem was that the truck wouldn't turn off with the Ignition switched to off. Dan ended up removing a fuse and doing some kind of Mickey Mouse fix. Now the fuel pump is not on and I have to do the repairs at another shop. When I told him it was not on he said it was and " u just can't hear it". I know exactly what my truck sounds like and tried to make me look like a fool. He initially gave me a total of $600 and when I arrived to pick up my truck he was charging me an additional $200 for "more diagnostics" Save your time, money, and a headache and go somewhere else. read more

my 2006 duramax was out of service for a month after having another mechanic work on it and failing to fix the problem over a course of several weeks. I decided to call Dan he asked me to bring it in same day. I had to tow it in and by the next day I was driving my truck again he fixed and resolved my water pump and hose leaks. He also discovered a bad fuel filter housing and took care of that as well. I highly recommend Dan if you need your Diesel Truck worked on. I have a 2016 Chevy Silverado 3500 HD. I bought it at the end of July 2024 and had issues with it starting after 3 days in. It happened 3 times. The 3rd time, it wouldn't start. I immediately took it to Daniel and thankfully he knew where to look. He made the repair and alerted me that the fuel pump on this model was a ticking time bomb. He walked me through the parts, the repair, and explained why the fuel pump was a danger. I did the research after he made the first repair and was thankful that it wasn't the fuel pump. He quoted me on the conversion kit that he highly recommended. Although it was more than I anticipated, I called around and got quotes. Best diesel mechanic in the area, no question. Good troubleshoot and quick turnaround on my 94 Chevy K3500 flatbed that no one else would touch. Isolated the issue within a day and completed the work next day. Lots of extra attention to detail, reworking the blowby capture hoses, cleaning the engine compartment, fixing the hood latch, and gave me a lot of good info. We dropped off our F450 for a brake issue and after having him diagnosis it he was very confident in it being a rear caliper. We provided the brand new parts for him and it ended up not being the issue. After 4 more incorrect diagnosis and providing more parts for him as well as having him purchase new parts from the Ford dealer as well it was still not fixed. He did not listen to our concerns clearly, as we told him when the issue began, as well as what was changed and replaced. He ended up replacing 2 parts that were previously replaced that did not correct the problem. After spending close to $2500 on parts and labor that were previously replaced and confirmed to be working, the truck is finally fixed and we no longer have to deal with Dan the mechanic. Beware of mechanics like this that will continue to change parts at your expensive until the problem is solved without clearly listening to the customer's concerns and accurately diagnosing the vehicle instead of blindly changing parts that have already been replaced or that aren't in alignment with the issues that have been initially mentioned. read more

They kept saying they knew what was happening but cycle of getting car back and same issues coming up. I found Dans shop on Yelp and was surprised at how many good reviews he had. I called him a couple times and asked him some questions about my 24 valve Dodge about some glitches that many Dodges share and he knew the right answers. I do much of the work myself except when it gets complicated with the computer and sensors along with the constant "Check engine light" that comes on because of all the mods I have done to my truck. Dan does all the work himself and had the work done when he promised it to me. He really takes an interest in the customers concerns and recommends solutions. And even though its a Cummins Engine its still wrapped around a Dodge, So I'll probably be coming back to Dan to have him fix all the Dodge issues, lol. read more
