Recommend calling before coming to ensure they carry the currency you want to exchange for, they may have to pick up the currency from another location and it may take a day or two. The exchange rate I received was slightly lower than the one founs on Google search. Western Union Services AT THIS LOCATION IS FANTASTIC!!! I was a receiver of cash. I did not realize that the various Western Union contracted stations have policy rules which can differ from each Western Union contracted station - which I understand. For two weeks I had cash waiting for me at Western Union after being sent to me. Well - what a pain it was to get the cash -- and here is why!! At one mailbox location for Western Union, they had to amount of cash in order to get the cash to you. After trying 2 weeks the mailbox store could not give me the cash because they did not receive the cash from other Western Union transactions. I then contacted the corporate offices of Western Union who informed that I could pick up from market which was just down the street. After contacting market down the street, they had the cash of their maximum of $500 as long as you go there when it during the day (not after 5 pm) and the cashier's have the money in their drawer. The markets policy is also based on whether they receive the cash from other purchasers but the remaining balance they will give you a check. So what I learned if I pick up cash from Western Union at a market - then have the sender send it in $500 increments. But what saved the day for me - what I learned is, I can and do send money via Western Union the cash at Continental Currency. They always have the cash and some locations are always open 24 hours a day!!! So the best places to get the cash from Western Union is a bank - or in my case a Currency Exchange place called Continental Currency. I will always do my business from now on at Continental Currency which will have cash (call to make sure what the limit is) But I am very happy now since I got back the money paid for tickets for a friend - what a hassle!! But I've learned a great deal from this experience- I am so happy that Continential Currency save the day read more

My experience with CCS was wonderful. I've used other services previously and this location was closer and easier for me to access. I requested quotes from five different services and the cost at CCS was lowest, plus they have locations close to my home. Jose, a manager who responded to my request, arranged for my currency to be ready in advance of me going to pick it up. He locked-in the rate quoted, even though the pick up was two days later. I ride my bike for many short trips and was able to take it inside with me when I did the pick up. The staff was friendly and the service was efficient. I recommend CCS and also Yelp's feature which allowed me to request quotes from multiple places. read more

Ladies who work in the front are very rude. Roll their eyes while they are talking to you. Yelling back and forth to each other about you, in front of you. They don't acknowledge the 3% exchange coupon BTW but only because the lady at the front has never done it and said SHE personally doesn't deal with it. Took my friend to use Western Union here today and they took her money and sent it through Softgate Systems (a third party). So, since WU has no way to track that the money is just sitting out there until Softgate decides to batch and send the funds. Even when she gave her the WU form the teller responded and said we don't use those. She's making a complaint to the better business bureau. When she confronted the person by phone and told them it was consumer fraud to use a third party to make money off of her (especially when she gave her a WU form), the teller #60837, did not show any remorse what so ever and was instead rude, without even wanting to apologize. Of course - no manager was there. How there's no manager there is unbeknownst to us. And, she has to write a letter to get her funds back. If I could give less than 1 star I would. read more

Times have changed, the lady behind the counter acts rude and unprofessional, also talks to her coworker about their lives while making your transaction as difficult as possible. You have to repeat yourself because she just decided to not hear you, and instead of giving you information that's helpful, she trys to make you feel like you should have known it already and gives nasty tone of voice and faces. I recently went in to get a payday loan and there were three people behind the counter to women and one guy and the guy on the right of me was on his cell phone talking to whomever the two women on my left eye having a conversation with the guy on the right and the one woman in the middle who is helping me feel to do her job correctly she has missing documentation which I thought I was supposed to keep when in fact she wanted me to sign something and I said to her point-blank why don't you tell me so another words do your job that you getting paid to do otherwise don't do it and it got to the point where I had to contact the customer service number and report the three of them because that's Because that's how incompetent people can be when one is doing their job or trying to not do their job should I say and getting paid on top of it I would in no way recommend this cat check cashing place at all I think the people who work there are rude condescending belligerent and pure oxymorons read more
