Expect at least a 10% loss compared to market plus the fee per exchange. So if you're exchanging multiple currencies or transactions in one visit, you'll incur a fee on EACH transaction (about $5 per). You may have better luck going somewhere else for your money exchanges Plenty of parking and the place is easy to find. It's convenient, and service is relatively quick. They used to be okay in that when you return from a trip or want to exchange leftover money back, you won't have to incur the fee. That is no longer the case so if you exchange before your trip, expect the loss and fee and again if you have leftover and need to exchange back to your original currency. The staff is less than friendly nowadays as well. We didn't even exchange too much as we just wanted to have small money for tips, minor expenses, etc. for a trip. When asked about exchanging back when we returned, they basically brushed us off telling us "You won't have any to exchange back anyways" as if they knew how we were going to spend the money. We'll look into other options for money exchanges in the future. This place is convenient, but we might as well just exchange money elsewhere next time. read more

People have been saying that this place is a good deal -- not true. I bought $300 of Japanese Yen yesterday and the total fee was nearly $30. $6.00 flat fee plus a 6.6% hit on the exchange rate. A ten percent fee for currency exchange is not good. You will be much better off using your US ATM card in Japan. read more

They are great here! Just a suggestion though. Call ahead to see if they have your currency available. I called today and they are not selling quite a few of the more unique ones (like Norwegian krone). And, if you want larger bills, it's good to call ahead of time also because last time they only had small denominations and I ended up having to travel with a very large stack of bills. This place is convenient for when you are going to travel. This is my go to place to get ready for a trip. They are nice and always helpful when you have questions. Very professional and you are in and out in a jiffy. I came here to grab Pesos for a recent Mexico trip, it was easy cause I was already registered in their system so it was quick. This little gem is in a shopping center with other businesses so parking can be a bit hard at times but they have the 30 min parking spots. read more

I had no idea they had a currency exchange office nearby. I thought the only place to exchange currency was at LAX. Glad I found this place. It's not too far from where I live. I took my mom to get some currencies and the teller was very professional and friendly. All the staff were nice. It wasn't busy at all when we went. Great place to exchange money! We just came back from a trip from Jamaica. Before we left we exchange $300 USD to JMD. We recieved 41,000 JMD. In perspective, JMD is $1 USD x 150. Which meant the actual exchange would of been $45,000 JMD We probably could of gotten a better deal but it felt a lot safer and quicker to do here. Plus, once we landed we were able to go straight into our vacation. The hours do close earlier here so plan accordingly. Happy travels! read more

Convenient location to exchange your dollars for whatever foreign currency you're in need of. Do call ahead to make sure they have it in stock. Extremely easy process. They let us know that they buy back the currency the only exception is that they do not with any coins. read more

This will be a relatively short review. How much can you say about currency exchanges? You give them money, they give you money back. Tada! Check the current hours, the hours posted on the door are slightly different than the actual hours (they closed at 4:30pm on the day we went, shows 5pm on the door). But, it was an easy process. We did not compare exchange rates, just went here because we knew where it was. The only negative of this place is not the place but the lot. You can't exit to south on Hawthorn or West on Sepulveda. You have to exit and find a place to make a u-turn. Other than that, worked great for what we needed to do, friendly teller and clean area. Enjoy! read more

I've exchanged currency here several times and I have no real complaints. They have many types of currency and it's never crowded so you're able to get in and out. The only thing to note is that they do not accept cards. There is an atm next door should you need it. read more

This place is so easy and straightforward! We are planning for a trip to Europe and was super stressed that we had to figure out a place to get euros without a hassle. We called several different Chase banks and they never answered. Once they finally did, they mentioned that they'd need TWO business days to at least order the euros.
