If you're like me you probably read the most recent reviews and the negative reviews for most…read moreplaces, so I'll try to speak to what I've read in comparison to my experience. I'll also start this review by saying I'm probably one of the easiest patients any doctor will have to deal with - my friend is a plastic surgeon and have friends who are doctors that I can bother incessantly with questions instead of Dr. Admire. In regards to the procedure itself, I had a lip lift. I'll probably write a more in depth review about the actual procedure on Real Self since that's where most people go to look at results. That being said, unless my lip falls off or I somehow find out Dr. Admire likes to kick puppies in his free time, I don't see my five star review changing any time soon. First off, everyone I worked with was amazing. Brittany, the patient coordinator, who you'll start off with first, was great. She reminds me of me working with customers in sales - you can tell she's genuinely excited for you and believes in the work Dr. Admire does. I can see if you're from the East coast or are more reserved, this probably comes across as insincere or sales-y, but it's just how some of us are! For people upset that you work primarily with her and Ashley - I promise you that you don't want any doctor going over paperwork or the minutiae with you. Next, you'll meet with Dr. Admire. I didn't feel like he rushed me or was impatient with any questions I may have had. That being said, you're probably looking at a MAJOR procedure if you're meeting with him. I would expect that you've done some research in to the procedure itself and didn't just do this as a spur of a moment type of thing so I can see if you come in like a window shopper, the doctor may be less inclined to spend additional time with you. I had researched different surgeons, techniques, results, complications, recovery, cost (shout to Brittany for ripping that band aid off and telling me right away how much it would be!) and had been looking at doing this for years. I also chose Dr. Admire because I wanted someone I could trust to take all the artistic/creative liberties with my lips/face and look at the procedure objectively. Anyone who's had fillers knows you get some facial distortion and may overdo it. Not something you want with a permanent procedure. The procedure itself was as expected (again, do some research and read different people's experience and also listen to your doctor on what to expect). The surgery center staff was super nice and made me feel comfortable the entire time. I was off my ADHD meds for the day and nervous and they were patient (no pun intended) while I was kind of bouncing off the walls. Also, pro-tip for surgery: always ask for extra blankets. I think I forgot where exactly Ashley, the nurse that works with Dr. Admire, came in to play. But she's great. Also genuinely excited for you and helpful with answering any questions and walking you through what to expect. Both Ashley and Brittany took plenty of time to go over paperwork and pre-op and post-op instructions so you never feel like you don't know what the next step is going to be. The front office staff is super responsive and helpful as well. I had a small snafu with my prescription the doctor wrote for me and they solved it in literally 10 minutes and sent me a text follow-up since I was driving. I'm sure if I had questions directly for Brittany, Ashley or Dr. Admire that they would have been similarly responsive and helpful. Overall, couldn't have asked for a better experience! So happy I chose Dr. Admire for my lip lift! Also - I'm two weeks out and it looks amazing! P.S. Download the app they have! You can look at your photos they take and see the before and afters which is really fun. Even if I have a piece of food in my teeth in one of them, lol.

Butchered and In Debt: A 3-Month Nightmare and for the rest of my life. …read more ​I am writing this as a social worker and therapist to warn others. It took me a year to choose this surgeon and follow through with it, I thiught about trusting him for a year, and it has been the biggest mistake of my life. I went in for a deep plane face and neck lift. Against my better judgment, I allowed the surgeon to talk me into an eye lift and fat injections under my eyes--a procedure I was petrified of and had literal nightmares about. ​Three months later, I have been butchered. ​The Eyes: My left eye remains severely swollen and has not changed in two months. There is a deep, "black" discoloration under my eyes that $200 concealer cannot hide. I am forced to wear glasses 24/7 just to look my clients in the face because the results are so disturbing. ​Nerve Damage: My smile, which was my best feature, is completely gone. I have obvious nerve damage that has distorted my mouth. The way I talk, speech, and smile..yiu can tell I have the nerve damage by just talking to me...devastating. I could have accepted that on its own but my God..I was butchered. ​Visible Scarring: While one side is hidden (the side that i part my hair on so it would have been hidden anyways!!!), the other incision was made past my hairline and is completely visible. I also have a quarter-sized protrusion on my temple that looks like a massive cyst. ​Poor Results: For a "deep plane" lift, I still have 2-3 ripples of extra skin on my face and zero improvement in my neck. ​I took out a $14,000 loan for these produces plus 25k....no joke..39k!!! And I got butchered!! I have been quoted 20,000$- $30,000 by other professionals. This surgeon took my money, ignored my documented fears about fat transfer, and left me with results that I have to live with every day in my professional and personal life. ​If you are considering this surgeon: take your money and run. Drove 35+ minutes for a morning appointment. Sat in a huge waiting room with a dozed other…read morepatients. After 15 minutes, I asked what was going on, and they said the Physician's Assistant would see me soon. After another 10 minutes, I told them I needed to leave if they couldn't get me in soon, and they offered no ETA, so I left. I never was called to speak with the nurse who gathers information, so it seemed likely that the physician's assistant wouldn't see me for at least another 20 minutes (minimum 45-60 minutes after my scheduled appointment time). I called the office manager, and she explained that they regularly run behind schedule. I specifically asked whether they would see me if I, as the patient, arrived 30 minutes late for an appointment, and she said they would. So if you want to go to this facility, I recommend you arrive at least 20-30 minutes late for your appointment -- that way, your wait time should be reasonable. Or, alternatively, book with a place that respects your time.

I was going to get done early, so I messaged if we could do 3, and she messaged back with yes. So I showed up at 230 and went in at 3... then to be told the Dr is not there. I said fine what about tomorrow she said yes 2:30. So an hour later, I get a call, and she tells me she can't get ahold of the Dr for the appointment today..like what!!! We just talked about this ..so on top of it..he was never going to show. So I decided to give one more chance because I already did most of my botox a few weeks ago, so I wanted to do it with him since he had already started it. I messaged today to make sure my appointment was going to be good. I even asked what time, even though I knew what time.. I wanted to see if they knew it and make sure it was in the calendar. Whether you are trying to schedule, reschedule, or ask a question, you are either left on hold indefinitely or forced to leave voicemails that go unanswered. When you finally do interact with the front desk staff, they are incredibly rude and dismissive. To make matters worse, Dr. DeLuca's bedside manner is terrible. She is incredibly condescending, rude, and dismissive. A visit to the dermatologist shouldn't feel this stressful or unwelcoming. The only positive experience I had at this office was with Dr. Slobodny. If I could only see her, and not deal with the rest of the office staff, I would remain a patient at this practice. I highly recommend looking elsewhere for a practice that respects its patients and maintains basic professional standards.
