I'm very disappointed after 3+ years of coming to Suddenly Slimmer Med Spa. I came on here to change my review because I seen my account from $878 it now went up to almost $1,200. I gave $165 on the spot and was not given a receipt. I was rushed and the receptionist seem very confused. The receptionist told me they had many payment plans, I chose Affirm. Now she told me the payments were gonna be 0% interest if paid monthly, she lied. If I would have known they were gonna charge me 33% interest instead of 0% like the receptionist mentioned I would have just paid it all off. Suddenly Slimmer reached out to me and my sister but spoke to my sister and did nothing to fix the issue. I don't know why they hire ppl with no experience. I am very annoyed at this point and want nothing to do with them. It's all thanks to the receptionist in the front desk with the name of Melissa. So, now I had to call to the payment plan Affirm and had to pay extra cash because the interest was high and mind you I did not agree to this. If you come across this place make sure to take a calculator with you because they will rip you off. I should have read the reviews before coming here. Had an amazing experience and results from work that was done on my face! First, the super friendly receptionists that greet you when you arrive is very welcoming. Well.. I didn't expect this but here we are. I got Botox for the first time here. Things were good. I came back a month later to do lip filler. I do lips every other year, but needed a new place since my buddy closed his practice. I knew while it was happening something was... different. Typically you go a little bit at a time, look at it, you keep going you kind of work together. This time my lips were done quickly with no time to advise and you know what, that might be lady's preference (she had big beautiful lips herself) it doesn't look bad at all and it'll simmer down with time that's not why I'm here. Last night at 8pm I get a text message reminder about an appointment that I did not set for myself. It was to take place in the morning and it goes on to say that if I don't cancel within 24 hours I will incur a fee. The appointment was 12 hours away. This makes no sense. I SEARCH my phone and email and do not find a booking confirmation like I received the first two times when I actually did book myself an appointment. Was the weirdest thing. I don't need filler I just got a bunch done, probably too much. I would never do this. I called the office and I'm getting a generic 'one answer only' response and they're providing no explanation about this appointment "It just says Botox" they tell me. I might as well be calling overseas. They want to give me a credit, I want my refund. I get nowhere. I look at my account a couple hours later and see that after calling the office they have again, charged another $50 fee. This is comical. I call and get the 'one answer Lady' again. She can't tell me why this was done twice. I want my money back. She can't give me answers. We hang up. I have no resolution. I have to call back Monday. Her supervisor is busy. I let the overfilled lips go. It happens. again, not my taste but it's not bad looking. It's nice just too big. It's growing on me. The appointment BS. Sendinnnng me tho. I'm aware of a cancellation fee. But for an appt I didn't book? Let's be so for real. The late night reminder text with no time to cancel, sent hours after they close? It's a shame that they have a cancelation policy, One which if not canceled in adequate timing, they'll charge your card on file... which didn't halogen to me btw. I had a 11:30a appt. I arrived at 11:20a. Not to bore you with all the details, but at 12:30p I was still sitting in the waiting area to be seen. Finally, i gave up and left at 1240p. That's over an hour of my time that I won't get back. Ridiculously poor scheduling... at my expense. There are other good spas in the area. I would recommend trying one of those first. read more
