I wanted to tone up to get ready for summer and I decided to go in to check out the body contouring services. When I arrived at the office I was greeted by the front desk women and she was very friendly and checked me in for my appointment. The waiting room is very cute with soft music playing. After waiting for about 5 minutes, the representative brought me in the back to explain the procedure and get me ready for the first treatment. I went with the BTL service which is a mix of radio frequency and ultrasound. It all was very quick and easy and took less than 1 hour to complete. As they are performing the service it's a little warm on the skin and the pressure is nice. We did some before and after pictures and I was stunned. I feel a lot more comfortable and I think it's led to an overall great perception of myself and had positive effects on my diet as well. All in all I did about 3 treatments to get where I wanted to be. I know everyone is different. I will be looking for a new clinic, and I would suggest others do the same if you want an understanding, helpful clinic to work with. This is the 2nd time I've had to switch NPs because the previous one left, and this has been my experience with the new NP today: 1) They scheduled my appointment with them today as in-person, which would have been ok if they told me when I scheduled it. They did not, and I specifically asked for a remote appointment because I have a broken leg at the moment. 2) I did not get a reminder or confirmation email regarding my appointment, and I only found out it was in-person today when I called asking for a telehealth link. I would have tried to make it in today if I had known it was in-person. 3) When I called in explaining why I couldn't come in due to the accessibility issues I have right now, the office staff member was extremely rude and wouldn't listen to my request. She demanded that I come in due to the new NPs request. I explained that the previous NP never specified that I had to come in to continue taking this prescription and told me I could wait until I was getting around better. 4) What's worse, I'm in the middle of a progressive dosage of weight loss medication and I need a new prescription ASAP to make sure I get my next dose in time. When I asked to speak to the new NP about this, the office staff member said she was with another patient. This was ridiculous, as I called the office during my own appointment! How could I not just speak to the nurse during the time she was supposed to see me? I understand that there are requirements for things like this, but what I don't understand is why my previous NP and the new NP had such different views. I'm extremely frustrated, and I wanted to share my experience with others.
