I purchased the Groupon and called to make an appointment 2 days later. Please note - if you purchase a groupon you must call to make your appointment. Although you can book online for all of her services, you cannot book online if you're using the Groupon. The Spa is located in suite location. I believe Elaine works alone because the door was locked when I arrived just 10 minutes before my appointment time. Just give her a call when you're outside and she'll be right there if she's working with a client. From the outside it looks small but there were plenty of rooms inside. The Yoni Steam itself was AWESOME! Once I got comfortable and reflexed I fell asleep. That's awesome my measure of how good and relaxed I am during any massage or spa experience. The setting of the actual room and the Yoni seat was a little different than what I'm used to. Here the steaming bath or seat is placed against the wall. You sit on top and just rest your back against the wall. I'm used to more of a comfortable seating and actual chairs with backs and the yoni bath under me. According to Yelp, Contours was established in 2017. I can only imagine how nice of a spa this will be once she gets more established. I will be looking for a new clinic, and I would suggest others do the same if you want an understanding, helpful clinic to work with. This is the 2nd time I've had to switch NPs because the previous one left, and this has been my experience with the new NP today: 1) They scheduled my appointment with them today as in-person, which would have been ok if they told me when I scheduled it. They did not, and I specifically asked for a remote appointment because I have a broken leg at the moment. 2) I did not get a reminder or confirmation email regarding my appointment, and I only found out it was in-person today when I called asking for a telehealth link. I would have tried to make it in today if I had known it was in-person. 3) When I called in explaining why I couldn't come in due to the accessibility issues I have right now, the office staff member was extremely rude and wouldn't listen to my request. She demanded that I come in due to the new NPs request. I explained that the previous NP never specified that I had to come in to continue taking this prescription and told me I could wait until I was getting around better. 4) What's worse, I'm in the middle of a progressive dosage of weight loss medication and I need a new prescription ASAP to make sure I get my next dose in time. When I asked to speak to the new NP about this, the office staff member said she was with another patient. This was ridiculous, as I called the office during my own appointment! How could I not just speak to the nurse during the time she was supposed to see me? I understand that there are requirements for things like this, but what I don't understand is why my previous NP and the new NP had such different views. I'm extremely frustrated, and I wanted to share my experience with others.
