The price I was quoted was over 12k. I felt the electrician on my job, Jason S. was very high pressure in his tactics and told me I needed to decide that day, or lose potential discounts. I had also been without a kitchen for over 30 days, so I agreed to the work. The next day Jason and an apprentice come out to start the job. They take one whole day to remove and replace the new panel, no problem. Here is where it goes downhill. On the second day of work, Jason and another apprentice came out and instead of prioritizing the circuit I hired him for, they start installing the hardwired smoke detectors Dekalb county allegedly requires. This took all day! By about 4 pm, I asked if he was going to get the outlet done so I could use my dishwasher and he replied "I guess if I stay here all night". I said I guess thats what you got to do then, and they were here til nearly 8 pm. Then he made several other unprofessional comments about staying late. Jason never came back to my job. A new Electrician came out on Monday, Jason said he had an emergency job. The part where they earned this rating comes when I found out my pool motor circuit was not working on the new GFCI circuit. I explained to them it originally was on a two pole circuit and now they had it on two single poles. It was drawing 240v and they had the model number and should have researched the wiring on their own as professionals. Rather than listen to me, I had to wait all day for the new electrician (with Jason on the phone) come up with a new quote to fix which included trenching up and re-wiring my entire pool, ANOTHER 5 THOUSAND DOLLARS! I was livid. I started looking into this and it turns out I was right, it just needed a 2 pole GFCI. I talked to the second electrician the next day and told him I want to talk to a supervisor or manager. I got a call later in the day from Jeffrey who was going to look into it and get back to me the same day. He did not. He did call me the next morning and agreed to send one of his best guys out to install a 2 pole and see if that solves the problem. Well guess what, it did! And, I didn't have to pay another 5K. I expected to hear back from Jeffrey again to ensure the job was to my satisfaction as you should on a service recovery. I did not. I feel lied to, and that I was robbed and almost taken needlessly for thousands more, had I not done my research which should not be necessary as a layperson. I understand from TE employees the Electricians control the cost, and they get a commission from it. Unfortunately, I paid for an electricians summer vacation because I trusted him. It was during the time that outside temperatures were in high 90s. inside the house was in high…read more80s. I called three companies they all could not come and they were charging over $100 just for diagnostic and were not crediting that if there was repair. I called Climate Heroes they said we charge $89 and if there is repair we will waive the $89. I scheduled and they were able to come the next day. The lady also said for first time customers we discount to $49. The next day the technician was late I called and they said we are getting a lot of calls he is running late and we will discount your fee to $29.00. The Technician (Jackson) arrived not too long after did a complete check of both our downstairs and upstairs system and determined we have bad Freon leak in one of the systems. He actually showed me pictures of inside of the coil that was all frozen with ice. The unit was about 10 yrs old he suggested we consider a new system and contacted their Sr. project Manager Ron to come. Ron arrived while Jackson was still trying to fix the system temporary. Ron did a walk through of the house and estimated what type of system we need. He gave me an estimate even with discounts it was higher than what we wanted to spend. I contacted couple of friends in that business and they all agreed for the unit he was recommending it was a reasonable price. I called Ron back and made him an offer for less than his estimate. He check with is manager and accepted my counter offer. He scheduled the install for following day. That is when Edwardo Hernandez and Brandon Kim came. During these process I was constantly kept informed of their status. They came and worked all day until late almost 10 p.m. but the job was much more complicated as the old system and the Duct work done by the builder for the original system was installed very bad. I am not sure if it was even to code. They removed, replaced all that and installed both the unit in the attic and outside fan and compressor. For the system to work properly and draw all the hot air out Ron had added a new Return and an additional supply. They ran out of time but came back early next day and completed the job. Checked everything and during the whole process kept me informed of their work and educated me on the new system. By the time they left the unit was working perfectly cooling the house. At no cost to us they also checked the second unit added more Freon and checked it fully. In my opinion both the staff at the office, the management team and the technicians went above an beyond to make sure we were fully satisficed. We will defiantly purchase our other unit from them. But as a certified Business Coach having worked with many such companies. I am highly recommending Climate Heroes to everyone. You will be fully satisfied not with their product and work but the value for your money. I rarely give such reviews to any company but because of quality of work and the value specially for such an important assets in anyone's home I believe Climate Heroes get 100% of my remanadtion.

He apologized for the misdiagnosis and explained that the replacement parts they use are commercial-grade and higher quality than the lower-cost versions I had found online, which helped me better understand the pricing. If that's the case, you definitely want these guys on your side too. I had our entire HVAC (both heating and AC) replaced by Season's Comforts in 2021. They sent out a huge crew and did a great job. It has worked flawlessly for 4 years in the swampy Atlanta heat. This 4th of July weekend, I came home to an AC unit that wouldn't blow hot air. I called the main line and Andy came out Monday afternoon and got us back up and running inside of 5 minutes! (Spoiler alert: it was a blown capacitor - which is a pretty inexpensive part to replace). These guys are the best. When I replace the other HVAC unit in my house, it's going to be Season's Comfort doing the work.
