It was my first time at Conundrum and I will definitely be back. I looove Bree and the cut and color she did on me was perfect! I had golden blonde highlights and I wanted to be fully lavender. She got the job done flawlessly with no breakage. The color came out exactly how I wanted and I've been getting so many compliments on it. I had one in the area for a couple years but my so-called "permanent" color would always wipe off on my pillow. So after the pandemic, I decided this was a good time to find my forever colorist/hairdresser. I called Conundrum and was given an appointment with Patrisa and I haven't left her since. I get root touchups every couple months and highlights every few months. I always love the way she does my hair. She also did my makeup once too and I really loved it (and I never love having my makeup done). She also has other specialties such as lashes, makeup and is a wonderful colorist. Loved this place! Everyone was so friendly and the energy was just great. I went in wanting to go more blonde and they had put me with Lauren. She did amazing!!! She was super friendly and told me that she usually works with blondes, so it's her specialty, which made me relieved because I was not sure how good this store would be. She made my hair look so natural and did it pretty quick, too. She bleached the majority of my hair and I was able to leave within 3 hours, which felt surprisingly quick as I have a ton of really thick hair. The pricing was also great, too. A full head of highlights is only $250, which is the best price I've seen when I was looking for places in the area. 100% recommend this salon! read more

Last Friday I had an apt with Jose Solano. I was a new client (through referral) and set up an appointment with Jose 3 weeks prior. It was my b-day and I was looking forward to getting my hair cut and dyed before my party that night. Jose cancelled on me 15 minutes prior to our apt. For one I dont live in the area and it was quite the drive. I was shocked and upset. I asked if there was another person that could at least cut my hair at the salon and got no response back. Yesterday I got my hair done by Candace and she did so so well!!! You can see all the different colors she had to work with in my before photo, I'd previously used black box dye and Liese milk tea bubble dye and it looked bad and I had a holiday party on Dec 6th to go to. But I really feel like she saved it . This is only my first session, and I'm coming back in January to go lighter but I'm really impressed and incredibly happy of how well it lightened and how my hot roots covered up. Easy to say, I'm not going to go to anyone else but Candace from now on or touch box dye again. She also gave me consultations on how I should take care of my hair post session and gave me her ideas on which colors/tones would suit my complexion the most :). Lauren Wilkes definately does NOT know how to do extensions! When I called the salon to ask for an experienced stylist that specialized in tape in extensions, the manager Jackie referred me to Lauren. The pictures below do not lie (though Lauren lied about being an expert with extensions) I have a MULLET !! short hair with long hair (extensions) how is this possible as a stylist that you think this is OK?? Within 30 days of me getting my hair done, I texted Lauren several times to tell her this was not acceptable and she NEVER responded to me. Then I called the salon to talk with Corey (the Owner), and she said she could not do anything because Lauren rented a station from her?? Lauren represents your hair salon and you will not take responsibility for this stylist? Then I talked with Jackie (Salon Manager) and she too said they could not do anything and she would talk Lauren, because at this point I asked for a refund. I got my hair colored before I got my extensions, then the extensions she put in did NOT even remotely match my hair ?? I spent over 8 hours in the chair to end up with a mullet and no one from Conudrum Salon will take ownership of this hot mess, including the owner, manager and I will not call call Lauren a stylist at this point because she clearly does not know how to do extensions! Had such an amazing experience with Candace this past weekend! I normally don't write reviews but this definitely deserves one. I have very fine thin hair and after a year of growing my hair out I still could not achieve the luscious locks I dreamed of for my wedding day! Candace took the time to carefully place 5 bundles (22 in.) of extensions for me and made sure they blended in with my fine hair. The results really speak for themselves! My lifesaving hairstylist was Candace Klein ! Amazing to say the least. I came to Candace looking for a major color correction. A few weeks prior I had gone to a salon asking for a balayage. Background: My hair was box dyed dark brown (almost black) from a year earlier and I had not touched it at all. Fast forward, the end result from the previous salon was not what I had asked for. The top of my hair had lighter roots, yellow/orange brassy "highlights" with a red/brown base, while the rest of my hair was still a dark brown with subtle orange/brown highlights. I was so disappointed I walked out without even having my hair blow dried. From the very start Candace was very informative and realistic as far as what I was looking for with my hair. I know I came to her with a whole mess, but she kept me optimistic, took her time, told me the steps of the process to reach my end goal, and gave me exactly what I had wanted!
