I made an appointment and went in for a haircut. They were able to take me on such short notice so that was nice, I guess. Connie did my hair. When she was washing my hair, she was talking to another lady in the shop. Normally I'd be fine with that but then Connie kept splashing water all over my face and shirt. Obvs distracted. The hair cut was okay. She cut my hair and thinned it out like I asked her. She even gave me advice on how to tame my hair. It's worthy to mention that the lady she was talking to kept looking my direction. Connie and her were still talking. It was in Spanish so I couldn't understand but I'm pretty sure they were talking about me. It made me very uncomfortable. However, she did not cut my hair how I asked. I came in with a photo of the style I wanted and it's almost like she ignored it. I wanted a pixie cut, I got a bowl/bob cut. I am very dissatisfied with the service. I paid full price for a cut I didn't want. I don't want to deal with the hassle of going back and getting it fixed. I feel like I'm better off going elsewhere. read more

I called after seeing the reviews on Yelp. I spoke to Maria, who took me in right away. At first, I was surprised by how small the salon was. It definitely was a little "hole-in-the-wall-off-the-beaten-path" type of place. However, don't let this humble exterior deter you like it almost did me. You see, I really needed a haircut and did not have much time to look for another place. So, I just went for it and hoped for the best. I have been coming here for about a year now and I am in LOVE! they listen to what I want and are constantly checking in with me to make sure I like what they are doing with my hair. The staff is so friendly and I have never felt awkward or not welcome there. They are very professional and always do a wonderful job with my hair. They are also very affordable! I got my hair washed, cut in layers, and fully blow dried for $28! Last time I was there they told me they have a special all year to get your hair washed, cut, dyed or highlighted, and blow dried for only $99 (so I have plans to take advantage of that). I highly recommend it and I can guarantee that I will be coming back here from now on! read more

I went here today with my daughter to get her cut into a pixie cut. After reading the yelp reviews and seeing the outside of the business, I thought we would give it a shot. Needless to say I took about 2 seconds. I asked 2 questions to the older lady that was there. I didn't get an answer to either question. I asked "how much experience she had" and "if she thought she could do a pixie cut on my daughter." I got a heavily accented Spanish speaking women that had no idea what I said to her. I'm sure she is a nice lady but if I don't speak Spanish how is she going to understand what my daughter wants. There was only one person there at the time I went. One star for probably being a nice lady another star for being clean. read more

I've been going to this place for a couple of years now and always telling myself "its not that bad", and i'm not real picky. And i really wanted to support my town. Well today I'm saying its bad enough i will not be returning. Every time I've gone in i get a different person and i get charged a different price every time. I walked in today and the owner was sitting with a customer waiting for color to dry or something and she told me she didn't have time and for me to come back tomorrow. She never offered to have me wait just that she didn't have time. It was 5 in the afternoon and they close at 7. She could have cut my hair in between her waiting but i guess visiting with her client was more important than servicing another customer. This is not the first time she has been rude. I guess i have to find a new place because i will not be returning to this place any time soon..... read more
