I was put in touch with them to fix my washing machine that was under warranty. They started out great but evidently the service tech had never been to a home without a door bell. We had no idea but our doorbell did not work. He did not bother to knock at all the just left. We saw him pulling out of the driveway and waved him down and called him to come back. In the amount of time he took to back out of our driveway and pull out he had already called another customer and arranged a repair for them. We are talking 1 minute tops. So we rescheduled because being 10feet away from us was going to take too long since he had made plans with another customer. This time we told them of the door bell not working and we were told a phone call and a knock would happen. He had told us that he would call and let us know he was coming 30 minutes in advance. No phone call and no knock on the door. So I just assumed they missed the appointment but was later told that he came and rang the doorbell and no one answered. Duhhhhhhh. So I called again and explained my situation and was rescheduled again with a different tech. That day came and went with nothing again so when I called back they said I would need to find someone else to fix my washer. Completely incompetent and completely unprofessional. read more

On Christmas Eve 2018 my 18-month old Whirlpool clothes washer wouldn't stop filling the tub. Every few minutes the spin cycle would start and some of the water would exit the tub, but not much. I was hoping that I could get the washer to spin-only in order to get rid of some of the water, but that wasn't going to happen. I ended up turning the machine off. I was left with a tubful of soaking wet laundry that was too water logged to put into the dryer. Whirlpool recommended Convenient Appliance Service. I called and made an appointment for the repair. Before hanging up, Ashley had a suggestion that "sometimes works." I was told to unplug the washer and leave it unplugged for several hours --she noted that some newer "electronic" equipment just needs to be rebooted occasionally like our computers. It worked! I cannot thank Ashley enough. As a result, I didn't have to wait for the repair appointment (and not do laundry in the meantime), paid no service visit charge, and had no parts to purchase. I am recommending everyone I know to Convenient Appliance Service and telling them of this experience. I did not engage Convenient Appliance directly, but they contacted me in response to a warranty claim against an appliance manufacturer as the manufacturer's local service representative. The technician arrived on time for our appointment and patiently endured a bit of household confusion that delayed access to the appliance he was there to service. In the course of repairing the problem, he discovered another unrelated, but more serious problem and offered to address this with the manufacturer. Now this is the sort of thing that makes a lasting impression on me. This is real customer service, reporting the problem while it is still under warranty instead of hoping it won't discovered until later. True to his word, the problem was reported to the manufacturer, and I received a call back from Convenient Appliance later with a disposition with the manufacturer. The bottom line is that the manufacturer has decided to replace the unit rather than repair it, so there will be no benefit to Convenient Appliance from this, other than potential good will with the customer. There it is. Convenient Appliance has earned my good will, and so I will remember them for service needs in the future. read more

Great service! I was able to have appliance issues addressed on the same day, in a single appointment! I had a leveling issue with my washer, and it seemed that the heating element went out in my dishwasher. I took photos of the model/serial number labels for my appliances, filed the claims online via my home warranty service, and paid the service fees. Both claims were quickly assigned to Convenient Appliance Service, Inc. The service I received was impeccable! One technician (Shay Miller) called me on the day of the appointment, to give me a general arrival window, then called again when on the way to my home. I was happy to see that they arrived WITH the parts needed to make the repairs, and both appliances were repaired in about 90 minutes. Two techs were sent for the job; a senior tech (Shay) and a newer tech (Nick). The senior tech was extremely knowledgeable and was patient with the newer tech, showing him a few tricks of the trade and some troubleshooting techniques. Both techs provided me with a lot of knowledge about how to care for the appliances and keep them in good condition, to minimize service issues going forward. I have to be a fan of a company that comes when they say they will, does the job correctly and doesn't jerk me around - even if the bill made me see stars. I called CAS on a Monday or Tuesday when our washing machine fell ill. I explained our problem over the phone (machine would fill with water, wouldn't agitate or drain, and left our clothes going for a swim) and the man I spoke with was "99% sure" of what the issue was. I was able to secure a Saturday AM appointment that same week. The morning of, Brandon called 15 min before his arrival and had our dead lid-switch replaced in under an hour. The part itself was inexpensive, but as with most appliance repairs, the labor and travel bit us. I don't think CAS overcharged us; that's just how things go. All in all, I was glad to pay just so I could have clean clothes again. I'd definitely recommend. read more

Michael Holcomb at Convenient Appliance Service is the best! He went out of his way to help save us money. Our KitchenAid Refrigerator had a warranty that had just expired. We could no longer dispense ice and water. We had tried everything in our manual to get this to work again. We called KitchenAid and they were less than helpful and told us we had to pay for all parts and service ourselves. This is a refrigerator that we paid more than $4000 for and and was less than one and a half years old! Michael helped troubleshoot the issue over the phone. It worked (saving not only the trip fee but the possible cost of a new control panel). I would highly recommend a company that has the best interest of the customer. i cannot say enough good things about Convenient Appliance Service. Starting with Jeremy the technician who came to our house and serviced our mediocre Whirlpool unit . Jeremy was the ultimate professional and answered all of our questions. When we would call Tanya would answer the phone and was very understanding of our issues and helped us quickly schedule an appointment within in a day or two. Trust me, when you frig does not work you need help fast. The owner, Ryan, was so helpful and was key in getting our frig fixed and ultimately replaced as it was not fixable. The whole 5-month ordeal was stressful, but Ryan's team made this tolerable. Our family cannot thank them enough. I plan on using them if possible in the future. I am extremely proud to say that I will be a fan for life. This company is all about customer satisfaction. I can tell that they live it from the top down. If something is not right, they will make it right and they have the organization that can make it happen. Long story short, I had an issue with my oven and had a little communication problem when I first reported the issue. My Kitchenaid refrigerator stopped dispensing water/ice, it is still covered under an extended warranty. I called and was given an appointment with Convenient Appliance. I then read through some reviews and was a bit concerned, however I feel compelled to write a review because our experience was actually stellar - we were given a prompt enough appointment, the technician (Peter) called in the morning to give me a 2 hour window for later in the day, he called again just prior to his arrival (at the beginning of that time window given), he was polite and friendly, and he diagnosed a problem, requiring a part to be ordered. Logan was our service man that looked at our dryer. He has been her before and was terrific on that call. He looked over our dryer and unfortunately the motor was shot and would cost 6-7 hundred dollars to replace the motor.
