Choco panito, chaizana panito, and the Rosa de Jamaica with foam
    Brittany R.

So happy a friend suggested this place for a hangout session! Convivio is a welcoming coffee shop that has many wonderful Guatemalan treats and beverages to try. Since it was my first time there, I tried a few items. The tostada trio was fresh. It came with some pickled veg and some salsa. I think the salsa could have been a bit spicier, but overall, everything complemented each other well. The highlight for me was the pastries: chaizana and the choco panitos. They weren't overly sweet, which I appreciate. Of the two, get the chocolate panito. Overall, I enjoyed the atmosphere of the cafe. There is a sense of community in the space, as the staff was very welcoming and helpful with figuring out what we should try. I believe there is a Spanish-speaking group there on Tuesdays. I think with the continued mindset of having great food and community, Convivio will have longevity.

Amazing local coffee shop. Great vibes and friendly staff! Food and drinks are delicious. I got the Mexican coffee with orange, cinnamon, nutmeg which was not too sweet and very satisfying. The burrito was also delicious.

What a vibe!! I loved everything about the decor of Convivio, so I was already sold just by walking in the door. Plants and fun lighting everywhere as well as rad local art. This was the first bilingual cafe I've been to which was very nice to see. Plenty of seating of all kinds. Tables to fit various size parties, comfy looking couch, and high tops. Didn't check for the outlet availability but there were plenty of people working with laptops, so I assume they had some. We didn't try any food, but they had a tasty looking menu and seems like other folx are fans. My husband had their chai which was absolutely delicious. Nice spice level. I opted for their special, which was a frappe and ah-mazing. Loved th cacao nibs on top. So good I had two! Overall, would happily return to Convivio next time I'm in the neighborhood.

Pretty solid coffee spot. Great for a coffee date or business meeting. They also have a decent selection of sweet and savory food offerings which I didn't have the chance to try. Coffee and speciality drinks are all made to order. The fog and cortadito were both satisfying.

What a great spot my friend and I stumbled on! This locally WOMAN owned, bi-lingual cafe was great! It felt like a little piece of Guatemala! We went to Guatemala in February so this was a nice little reminder. I had the chapin burrito and a cafe con leche. The stat was friendly and great. The coffee shop was bustling. I loved all the plants in the space too. My biggest complaint was the lack of outlets. There was 1 that was occupied the whole time. My friend and I ended up having to leave because our computers died.

Great place for tasty food and caffeine. My friend and I came in during a weekday afternoon for lunch and were surprised by how busy it was. I enjoyed the tostada trio without dairy and was still hungry afterward so I ordered a chicken & potato empanada which was small, but filling. My friend really enjoyed her beans with plantain chips. The place has a great vibe with its twinkling lights and plants. People seem to come in to enjoy a bite and work. I'd stop by again to try other items on their menu.

4.5 stars. Anything with a 5 star rating on Yelp automatically tempts me. Visited Convivio to get a few hours of work done. Their Wi-Fi is strong and there's plenty of seating inside and outside. Customer service is fantastic. Unlike most cafes, I would highlight their food menu as a top reason to come here, especially the Tostada Trio. So fresh and tasty. Also got an almond milk latte, which was delicious. The only potential downside is the loud music. For some reason, that didn't deter people from taking virtual meetings. Anyways, this is a cute local community spot, and I can't wait to try more of their food items, especially their avocado toast. Perhaps enjoy the outdoor patio too!

No, 'pos GUAU. I'm enamored with this shop, y'all. After sharing my thoughts on Cafecito on Threads a couple of weeks ago, a few people suggested Convivio, so I finally gave it a try recently, and no 'pos GUAU. I appreciate the lively atmosphere and the amazing scents of coffee and pastries. The baristas were very kind and welcoming. There's enough seating for anyone who wants a spot to work or catch up with friends. My coffee was incredible; it was not too bitter or sweet. The panecito de chocolate pastry was moist and delicious (I didn't leave a single crumb). My husband ordered a regular drip coffee, and he was impressed with how fresh it was. I'm looking forward to future events they may have (and by the looks, there's plenty, from writing workshops to sewing!). I highly recommend following their Instagram page to stay up-to-date. I'm so glad to add this coffee shop to my rotation of favorites.

Came here for the first time and am in love! It's a quaint, spacious, well lit space. Cafe/coffee shop with food and WiFi, relaxed vibe. Prices are standard and fair. what I like about this spot is that they are local, small business, woman owned, and seem to make a lot of effort to support and be a part of the community. For example, the bathroom has tons of flyers on community related events, you can buy the art on the walls (local artists), and there's a display of other local artist crafts for sale. There's a free collection of kids books by the bathroom, which feels like a fun way to participate as well. I'll be back ~

Great service. It was busier than I anticipated on a Wednesday between 9am- 11am. A lot of people go to do work or school work. Went here to support a Latina owned cafe.

I really enjoyed my first time at Convivio Cafe! The building is adorable from the outside and so relaxing and welcoming on the inside. The staff were super friendly and helpful when offering suggestions from the menu. My husband and I both ordered the tostada trio with a side of pickled veggies suggested by the staff. I definitely recommend getting the veggies as it added a nice acidity to the tostadas. I really enjoyed the nice twist on my chai (they added cardamom syrup made in house) and each of the tostadas. I'll definitely be back!

My friend and I arrived with laptops and left them closed. The whole place has an Elle Woods sleepover energy: pink-adjacent, unapologetically cozy, a little magical. We enjoyed our treats, caught up and people watched. And yes these are treats. There may be alcohol at other times; we were just there for coffee and tea, and the specials leaned floral. I had something built around orange blossom that drifted between citrus and honeysuckle, delicate enough to feel like a mood rather than a flavor. Lovely, if not exactly life-changing. But that's the point: Hello Darling pulls you in with its aesthetic and keeps you with its comfy, cozy seats. Definitely equally suited to a solo work session or a two-hour gossip spiral that was supposed to be a work session! Come for the drinks, stay because you forgot you had somewhere else to be.

The other cocktail was a Manhattan and it was not served with an ice cube instead it was only watered down. Probably wouldn't order that again. Overall, the space was cute and comfy, and I'd like to stop back in and try a coffee sometime

Even on a weekday morning, there was a gentle buzz of activity, yet we were pleasantly surprised to find a couple of open tables and no line at the counter. The friendly barista greeted us right away, and we were able to order our coffee drinks without any wait. While waiting, we took a moment to admire the pastry case and decided to share a beautiful pineapple Danish that looked too good to pass up. We settled into a cozy table by the window (the only small downside being the lack of outlets for working), and before we knew it, our drinks were ready. The coffees were served in the most charming handmade crockery cups, complete with lovely latte art. And I have to say--the latte itself was just as delightful as it looked: smooth, balanced, and perfectly crafted. The atmosphere immediately draws you in with its eco-conscious, Scandinavian hygge-inspired aesthetic. Think warm wood tones, soft natural light streaming through the windows, and thoughtfully curated, cozy decor that invites you to linger. It feels intentional and welcoming without being overdone. I also couldn't help but notice how dog-friendly the café is--from adorable bread-shaped dog toys available for purchase to water bowls set out for thirsty pups. It's clear they've considered every guest, furry ones included. One of my favorite features is the large garage-style front door that can open fully on warm days, seamlessly blending the indoor space with the front patio and making the café feel even more spacious and airy. For an intimate neighborhood café, there's a generous number of tables and seating options, along with a sizable menu offering plenty of food and beverage choices. I can easily imagine Hearth becoming a go-to spot for locals--whether for a quiet morning coffee, a casual meeting, or a slow start to the day. It's warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed. I would happily return for another coffee (and maybe another pastry) again soon.

Parking is admittedly a bit cramped in the front and pretty awkward to get out of if it's busy, but there is a lot behind the building with more space. There are a surprising number of tables and comfy chairs inside, and the vibe is kinda retro which my sister and I both really love. Their menu is pretty big and they also had a ton of holiday drinks to choose from. My sister has raved about the coffee they use (kaladi), so I got a drip coffee and since I wanted a little festive treat, I also got "the grinch" lol, which was a matcha latte with oat milk and pistachio. The coffees were ready very quickly, and we were able to find a little table near the back of the shop. Our three drinks (all 12oz) came out to about $16 which I think is pretty on par with specialty coffee drinks, so I felt it was worth the price. The food is particularly good, especially for a place that I find is more coffee focused than cafe focused. I only have one comment, which is really a comment for many Denver restaurants beyond this one coffee shop. That is this: sandwiches should be cut in half when they're finished being constructed. A sandwich isn't really "finished" until it's cut in half. We should think of that final, decisive slice through the sandwich as a kind of signature at the bottom of a painting or a poem. This is complete. It is ready to be eaten. If a sandwich is too unwieldy to be cut in half easily, then some thought should be given either to the construction and ingredients or to technique. A sandwich may need to be wrapped in parchment, then sliced, or a different knife may need to be used. Whatever needs to happen to slice that thing in half should be considered. I say this is a comment for all of Denver, because you really don't find this problem back east. It's like in coming west people forget about this final, essential step in making a sandwich. Anyway the spicy father is a great breakfast. But it would paradoxically be made truly whole were it to be served in two halves.
