I really love this place. Coffee, food and staff are all great. I am a fairly new customer and it has quickly became a favorite.

2914 Coffee is run by Steph and Will, who are a delightful couple! Go to their website to read their story. It was quite the journey to get to Denver from the Cotswolds in England and the opening of 2914 Coffee. This is one of the most inviting coffee shops in Denver with plenty of seating of all types (upholstered, tables and chairs, a large table for a group, inside and outside dining. They roast their own coffee beans, and the coffee is very good! The breakfast sandwich is so delicious that it is worth traveling to indulge yourself. Their seasoning of the eggs in the sandwich is perfection, and the bacon, sausage, spinach, melted cheese, and the crisp English muffin are all cooked perfectly to complement the egg. Pat and I had a nice conversation with Steph, who was extremely friendly and warm. The staff was kind, helpful, and efficient. There are street parking spaces and a parking lot behind the shop. Walking around the area and stumbled upon 2914 - what a gem! Surprised this has never shown up on my radar. Everything is perfect. To start, they have Polaroid's of local doggos on their community board. The vibe is cozy and fun with hanging local art for sale, happy plants soaking up sun and cute wall decor painted near the chalk menu. Whoever picked the music knows what's up. Good mix. Couches (where I posted up with a good book) and big comfy chairs are scattered amidst smaller tables for friends to catch up, bar tables for workers to plug in, and even a long table with benches for larger groups or individual strangers to co-work in a pleasant setting. They also have tables and chairs outside to enjoy the sunshine. I didn't get any food (this time!) but their sandwich menu looks ace, as do the pastries. I gravitate towards seasonal lattes and opted for their Irish creme latte and um, yum! Not too sweet and a nice mix of flavors going on. The other seasonals looked good, too. Baristas were kind and know their stuff. So... Yeah. Come here. You won't regret it. I'll absolutely be back! read more

I really like this place. The service is good. The place is welcoming and busy in a way that is fun to hang out in. Baristas are friendly and welcoming. The food is particularly good, especially for a place that I find is more coffee focused than cafe focused. I only have one comment, which is really a comment for many Denver restaurants beyond this one coffee shop. That is this: sandwiches should be cut in half when they're finished being constructed. A sandwich isn't really "finished" until it's cut in half. We should think of that final, decisive slice through the sandwich as a kind of signature at the bottom of a painting or a poem. This is complete. It is ready to be eaten. If a sandwich is too unwieldy to be cut in half easily, then some thought should be given either to the construction and ingredients or to technique. A sandwich may need to be wrapped in parchment, then sliced, or a different knife may need to be used. Whatever needs to happen to slice that thing in half should be considered. I say this is a comment for all of Denver, because you really don't find this problem back east. It's like in coming west people forget about this final, essential step in making a sandwich. Anyway the spicy father is a great breakfast. But it would paradoxically be made truly whole were it to be served in two halves. read more

Adorable place with plenty of different tables and seating in and outside. Obviously a neighborhood FAVORITE for others to discover, as Pretty Eyes and I did this morning. A PLACE TO RELAX ~ WORK ~ EAT, BREATHE!! They LOVE DOGS and their people companions! On the bulletin board there a plethora of doggy photos who have visited this delightful café, chai, breakfast muffins and Sandwiches, plus "The BRIE" breakfast items. With FREE WIFI, very helpful employees who seem to have read my mind on which (Other than milk) I wanted in my spice chai which is delicious. More than a decent size menu for a delightful place. Has an open front patio for all dogs to have their own place and eat with their human partners. Lots of comfy seating, some with tables, obviously a fav in its own community, very casual and opened till 4:00 PM, plenty of working or visiting time. Today Sunday, most were visiting and chatting, nice to see a neighborhood which offers community. Also, those of us on our puters, allowance to work till 4:00PM Nice touch, with a lovely menu. Another neighborhood favorite coffee shop discovered. Well, I actually spotted it when I was in the neighborhood about a month or so ago when I parked my car to go to the Indian/Nepali restaurant in the same block. It appears that a lot have happened in this new in recent years where new homes had been constructed. And to meet the demands for the residents and their visitors, this tiny coffee shop's existence is much needed. It was a bit before 11am. The shop was still busy with people who needed their morning stimulation (I was, of course, one of them!!) There was a line at the ordering counter but it quickly moved where my turn came swiftly. Hence I should say that the service is/was quick. The young lady pleasantly greeted but wasted no time to get my order. Very efficient!! Cappuccino and one of the Apple Cinnamon Muffins were what I got. The cap made perfectly where it wasn't latte at all. The Muffin's sweetness is what got me; it truly hit the spot. Nice to know a quaint shop like this so when I am in the neighborhood next time I will have options to choose from and this ranks one of the top 5 for sure. read more

I LOVE a good breakfast sandwich. This though was one of the best. I split with my partner, we got the hot honey (right) and Brie (left). The Brie had a pesto and was absolutely delicious. The hot honey had turkey and was good for breakfast or lunch. We will definitely be back with how great these were. They are smaller but have some good window seats for people watching. Great little coffee shop with some seating outdoors so you can sip some coffee and eat a little breakfast on a nice day. The Latte was really good, not overly sweet like a lot of places, but with a perfect hint of flavor against some good coffee. The sandwiches... wow. The Hot Honey was excellent, with the perfect amount of heat and sweetness against the turkey. And the Brie with a fluffy egg and pesto paired with the brie was even better. A very cozy coffee place to grab a breakfast sandwich and coffee. Service was fast, friendly and the cafe is very clean. The only downside is limited parking on the Main Street but if you loop around there's more parking on the neighborhood streets. read more

Decent coffee, but the whole shop turned into a dog park about halfway through our visit. Multiple guests came in with unleashed dogs blatantly ignoring the "No Dogs" sign on the door. The employees couldn't care less and one even came out from behind the counter to pet/play with the dogs before returning to work without washing her hands (gross). The dogs ran around under tables playing with each other and bumping into guests all while their owners chatted with employees and completely ignored the dogs. Just not the type of environment and experience I'm looking for in a coffee shop. read more

On a Saturday afternoon, this was a quiet coffee shop with good wifi where I was able to do some studying. I normally would just get a drip cider, but I planning to stay for a while, so I went with something a little more expensive. The matcha latte was delicious ... but I'd say I do prefer coffee. What a great local coffee shop I was able to try while visiting town. Found this spot on the map about 1 mile away from our friends house. Today we woke up to Denver's first substantial snow day, a beautiful winter wonderland! Coming to 2914 Coffee was the best way to start the day. It was pretty busy and things moved quickly and smoothly. Per the website: 2914 Coffee proudly serves Kaladi Brothers Coffee espresso drinks, The Tea Spot tea, Bhakti and Third St chai, Italian sodas, pastries, muffins and breakfast sandwiches. We sat down to enjoy the coffee, chai, and a sandwich. Everything was superb. We had a seasonal coffee drink- almond joy latte and the spicy chai latte. Really great drinks. The sando was one of the best breakfast items I've ever had from a coffee shop. Or maybe even from a bagel shop or a breakfast place. It was really good. I love breakfast sandwiches and this one had a lot of flavor going on. The spicy mother- bacon, sausage, egg, spinach, double cheese, spicy mayo, jalapeños, everything bagel. This was incredibly good. Posted on the wall is various pieces of art by Akyros Art. This added to the nice interior of the place with large windows at the front, plants, plenty of seating and a relaxed atmosphere where you can read, enjoy a coffee, or chill out with others. read more

Solid coffee shop with sweet baristas! I like their plants for sale too. Location is great and outside seating is a bonus.

The Americano was really good, rich in flavor and I tried their chocolate corrisants, it was ok. My best friend tried their cortado, and it was good 4/5 coffee, the roast and as darker, flavor wasn't too potent. The seating is cute but seating is crowded. Next time I'll take their coffee to go read more

I visited here today to get a little work done. What a great new find! My son loved his hot chocolate and chocolate muffin, while I really enjoyed my Americano and gluten free coffee cake muffin. The espresso is very good. I liked my drink so much that a bit later I went back for an oatmilk cortado. They had a nice little menu, but I'd like to see some more gluten free and vegan options. The baristas were very friendly, very cool people. I'll definitely stop by again if I happen to be in the neighborhood. read more

Standard ambiance and decor for a neighborhood coffee shop - dark and moody but also well appointed with the right amount of curated mismatched furniture. The behind the counter vibe was a little too grumpy/unwelcoming with the micro expressions for me and my dog this AM. I left my doggo outside per the rules and he was barking. (a dog's gonna dog!!) Curiously enough, while most patrons followed the rules, there was a lady with two dogs walking out when I arrived. The line moved quickly and I placed my order with a lady at the counter who repeated the order to me and said she would bring it to me outside so I could go be with my dog - which I thought was nice - however she didn't! The barista yelled the order repeatedly inside until another customer realized it was my order was kind enough to help me out. (Thank you to my coffee angel!) After all that I got home - they gave me the incorrect muffin. Now I gotta choke down a coffee cake when I was craving an apple muffin with my Strawberry latte. Sigh. I go to different coffee shops as a treat on the weekends - and there are quite a few around, albeit further walking distance. I pay attention to the general vibe, how the staff make me feel and the quality of what they provide. I have skipped over this place for almost a year because I felt a weird 'tude when I went in to ask for a gift card once (fyi - they don't offer them) and sometimes you gotta listen to your first reading. That being said, Strawberry latte was absolutely delish and maybe you gotta head in and see for yourself. Could be each of us was "having a day" - however I'm okay crossing this joint off my bucket list and continuing on my journey for places that check all three of my coffee shop must haves. FYI: Highly recommend Wooden Spoon on 32nd. Limited seating but better people energy in that place. read more

Solid coffee shop in the Jefferson Park neighborhood. I ordered a honey iced matcha latte and their sausage breakfast sandwich. The matcha was solid but not my favorite, a bit grainy. The breakfast sandwich was tasty but needed a bit of salt and pepper. I loved that it came on an English muffin that they must had pressed in a panini press because of how crispy they were able to get the muffin. Eclectic vibe and friendly staff. I'd definitely come back and see how they do their chai tea lattes which is my go to. read more

I stopped off here before a long car drive for a coffee. I ordered the oat milk latte with two Pumps of caramel and it was yummy! The service was a bit slow when I was there but it was busy. I wanted to like this place, I really did. Thing is, I live a low-carb life and this place had *no* sugar-free sweeteners. No sugar-free syrups at all, not even Splenda... unfortunately I actually like my lattes sweetened, so I was unable to get anything. It looks like a really lovely space and for many, I'm sure it's perfect. They did have multiple types of milks, so I'm sure that's useful to some people. Not for me sadly. read more
