We popped into Cafe Zuri on a Saturday morning to grab a bakery style breakfast. We ordered two different quiches and two cappuccinos. The interior is cute and has a European cafe feel, complete with cocktail options, unique coffees, pastries, and breakfast burritos. Note that there is no indoor seating at all. Our quiches and coffees were good but pretty expensive... we paid $25 for two quiches and two cappuccinos which seems steep to me. Overall, cafe zuri is a fun coffee stop worth checking out if you're near 32nd.

Cafe Zuri has a cozy vibe, and I like it! They have a pretty cool interior, very energetic and friendly staff, and tons of different coffee/espresso options. I got Chai tea latte with a shot and hazelnut which I thought it'd taste weird, but it was actually pretty delish! Also they sell homemade bloody Mary mix! They don't have any seating area though, so it's more of a takeout kinda place.

Visiting the area for several days and this wonderful little cafe sits around the corner. Love the refreshing "laptop free" atmosphere and coming into a cafe of people engaging at tables, friendly greeting at the counter, wonderful selection of quiches, pastries, coffees, smoothies and cocktails. What a great little euro feeling cafe! Highly recommend checking this place out!

Need a buzz? This cafe offers a caffeinated and alcoholic beverages for a high. Or you can mix both if you are so inclined. It's a small place with a bar for three and many small tables to spark a conversation at. What makes this cafe stand apart from neighboring ones, is that they have a policy discouraging use of computers while inside. Their goal is to bring people together, European cafe style, promoting conversation and not reclusion. The beverage menu offers the usual caffeinated suspects using Coda roaster coffee, which I found to be quite balanced. I had the Cortado, made with half 'n' half and quite delicious. The cafe is a fresh concept that I love.

Hmmmm. If I can get a million reads on this review then I'm sure that a person smarter than me will be able to figure out the way to solve this serious culinary problem: How can a place reheat their quiche to make it both quickly served and great tasting? Since the closing of the Rolling Pin Bakery (they had a lil' doohickey machine they used to magically reheat their quiche that worked purdy darn well) almost every other friggin' place reheats their quiche in a microwave which destroys the crust--both in taste and consistency. Café Zuri suffers from that same difficulty. They have almost a dozen different quiches on any given day, but they all get nuked in the ole m/w for reheating. While the quiche quality is high, they destroy the dish by m/w'ing it. This doesn't work and I don't understand why really good bakers don't understand this. (I'm talkin' to you Mr. Wooden Spoon, and you too Ms. Detour Bakery). I guess I could just beg each place to reheat my choice of quiche in their standard or convection oven and wait for 15 or so minutes. No problem there in the bigger sense of the picture. And maybe La Fillette has the best practical approach (see my recent review). But the bottom line is that if we can send a man to Mars (I'm talkin' to you Donald Trump), why can't we figure out how to reheat @#$W%^! quiche? Just sayin', David "Some like it hot" ("and crispy crusted") M.

Cute place and open early with good coffee but no laptops allowed. They should promote this a little more prominently on their website.

Always a must stop when in Denver. The owner is always kind and welcoming. Love the "no laptop, social vibe." Drinks are always delicious!

My friend and I arrived with laptops and left them closed. The whole place has an Elle Woods sleepover energy: pink-adjacent, unapologetically cozy, a little magical. We enjoyed our treats, caught up and people watched. And yes these are treats. There may be alcohol at other times; we were just there for coffee and tea, and the specials leaned floral. I had something built around orange blossom that drifted between citrus and honeysuckle, delicate enough to feel like a mood rather than a flavor. Lovely, if not exactly life-changing. But that's the point: Hello Darling pulls you in with its aesthetic and keeps you with its comfy, cozy seats. Definitely equally suited to a solo work session or a two-hour gossip spiral that was supposed to be a work session! Come for the drinks, stay because you forgot you had somewhere else to be.

2914 Coffee is run by Steph and Will, who are a delightful couple! Go to their website to read…read moretheir story. It was quite the journey to get to Denver from the Cotswolds in England and the opening of 2914 Coffee. This is one of the most inviting coffee shops in Denver with plenty of seating of all types (upholstered, tables and chairs, a large table for a group, inside and outside dining. They roast their own coffee beans, and the coffee is very good! The breakfast sandwich is so delicious that it is worth traveling to indulge yourself. Their seasoning of the eggs in the sandwich is perfection, and the bacon, sausage, spinach, melted cheese, and the crisp English muffin are all cooked perfectly to complement the egg. Pat and I had a nice conversation with Steph, who was extremely friendly and warm. The staff was kind, helpful, and efficient. There are street parking spaces and a parking lot behind the shop. Couches (where I posted up with a good book) and big comfy chairs are scattered amidst smaller tables for friends to catch up, bar tables for workers to plug in, and even a long table with benches for larger groups or individual strangers to co-work in a pleasant setting. They also have tables and chairs outside to enjoy the sunshine. I didn't get any food (this time!) but their sandwich menu looks ace, as do the pastries. I gravitate towards seasonal lattes and opted for their Irish creme latte and um, yum! Not too sweet and a nice mix of flavors going on. The other seasonals looked good, too. The coffee I ordered, latte was good and worth going back for I love the fact that it was in this quaint little house with all these cool knickknacks and photos so the atmosphere was very Denver, very downtown even though it's not, and I felt like it was cozy. The service was OK unfortunately we got there towards the end. I think we had about 30 minutes and we told them when we came in. We just wanted coffee and to use the restroom which to be fair wasn't really that impressive to them. We were definitely not intending to stay long. We really just needed to use the facilities and you have to buy something in order to use them. My only thing is is I didn't need to be reminded every five minutes we sat by the door and left 10 minutes before it closed. But I guess also to be fair. Maybe other people don't do that. But it's worth giving it a shot! Latte was great.
