We've had Conway come out twice in the past six months, once to fix our AC and once for our heat. Communication was quick and easy, I called the number on their site and had a call and text from John same day (a Sunday). We arranged for Jay to come by the following day, not only was he there on time but he resolved the issue quickly and for a fair price. Today our heat went out and I texted John at 8am about sending someone over. Got an immediate reply and two hours later, Jay was here to fix the heat. Again a prompt job for a good price. John and his team have been great this season. They replaced our old AC unit less than a week from calling them initially. We didn't like the workmanship the original company who installed our old unit did. A couple of months later I had called them to install a smart thermostat and while doing so his team also installed a missing grill in my system (from the previous work done by another HVAC company) at no cost and checked to see how the system was performing. John was super awesome. I had an AC issue, which turned out to be nothing. But, I was worried that I may have to wait long to get someone to take a look. I found him through Yelp, and he responded within 10 min of the first request. He happened to be in the area, so he was able to come out to take a look in couple hours. There was no major issue, so he just charged me for the visit and explained couple things about my AC unit. He seemed very knowledgeable and honest. My furnace was leaking a ton of water when the AC was running hard during a recent heat wave. I replaced the condensation pump myself but that did not solve the issue. I requested service from Conway through the yelp app because of the great reviews. John called me almost immediately. He explained that his staff was overbooked due to the extreme weather but asked me to describe my problem in greater depth. He then gave me detailed pointers on how to fix it myself! John felt bad that he couldn't send a tech over, but he spent 15 minutes on the phone with me and I was able to fix the problem. John is seriously amazing. I'm not sure how else to put it. Our AC was leaking in the worst heat of the summer. We had a different company come out and said they could not do anything for us, the unit had to be replaced. We got their quote and called John. John came after his overnight fire fighting shift and looked at our unit. He temporarily patched it for us and took the necessities for quoting us to replace the AC and furnace. The call cost us less and he did more for us than the other company. We ended up replacing both units at a reasonable price and he and his company did the job quickly! What a great experience I had with Conway HVAC. I popped a hole in my Freon copper pipe and released all my Freon from my Central AC system. Called John in the afternoon and he was at my house the next morning to repair as the weather was hot and humid. John was prompt, professional and customer focused. The only HVAC company I will ever call! These guys saved my life during the worst heat wave of the summer! I had just moved into my apartment a few days prior and of course, during a severe heat advisory, my air conditioning stops blowing cold air. I contacted my landlord, went to work, and unfortunately didn't hear back from the property management until late afternoon, telling me that no one could come for another 3 days. I couldn't believe this so I called around like crazy trying to find someone to come sooner. Some places were so booked because of the hot weather that they didn't even answer. Finally, I called Conway HVAC, and John Conway answered the phone personally. At this point it was nearly 6pm after a long day of the heat index being around 105, but he checked with his team and got back to me quickly telling me someone could be there in 20 minutes! Sure enough, Jay pulled up exactly 20 minutes later and identified the problem within 5 minutes. I thanked him for coming out after what must've been a long day and said it was no problem. He said he was actually already home when he got the call but came right back out to help. He knew exactly what he was doing and it didn't take him long to replace a part and test everything out. He came inside to make sure everything was 100% perfect and even showed me around my place so I would know which vents did what and changed my filters for me. Before he left I wasn't sure exactly how to handle the bill because I would have to check with my landlord and he was so nice and told me that they weren't worried about that. It was honestly one of the best customer service experiences I've ever had. They turned what could've been a complete nightmare into a total breeze. When you are in need of service repair or maintenance this is definitely the company to call! Of course the coldest day of the fall season, our heat stopped working. Conway Heating & Air Conditioning worked with our schedule to set up a convenient time to fix our problem. John was extremely professional and explained our issues clearly. Our repair was completed in a timely manner, and the area was left clean and organized. You would never know someone had been there to work on our heating system. Service rates were more than fair, and maintenance recommendations were advised but there was no pressure to commit to anything. We also wanted to upgrade to central air. The conditions to do this work, in a 4 foot, dirt & damp cellar basement during one of the worst NE Summer's for HHH index - brutal conditions.
