I worked with them to get several dozen succulents for a baby shower and it was really easy to plan ahead of time. They've always been friendly. They have a good variety of succulents. I'd say not as much of a variety of indoor plants but what they do have is well priced.

The Hispanic workers are wonderful and knowledgeable and very nice, willing to lend a hand or answer questions. Negatives: No individual pricing. They give you the general but "and up" can be anywhere between $6 and $2000, so it's a hit or miss sometimes. Sometimes there are "special" items - ex. Even if the green square pot says $1.50, some items will be $3.50. There's no way to know that until you get to the counter.

You won't find it at big box nurseries! & if they do have it, be prepared to pay $$$. I arrived & had to call so someone could open the gate. Kinda weird, but hey I didn't have to wait too long so that was fine. I told the lady what I was there for & OMG the nursery is massive ! She said the nursery is almost 3 acres. So there's a lot to see !! She showed the me the agaves & I ended up taking home a larger size (15 gal) than the advertised 5 gallon. The price ($55) was awesome for the size ! All the plants looked healthy so that was a plus. I also purchased the largest string of pearls I have ever seen EVER at a nursery. I already have this plant at home but wow I couldn't help myself !! It was also the variegated variety too. For the size, the price of $85 was very fitting. My only complaint is I wish they didn't charge tax if you're paying with Zelle. Like come on, the money is going straight to your bank account. Also from my experience with taking home larger plants, at other nurseries they wrap the pot so the plant doesn't make a mess in the car. So it would have been nice if that would have been done here. Also there was no one to help load the large pot in my car. So please take this as considerations for future patrons. All in all I would recommend this place !

It is highly recommended to talk about what you need before walking, as the walk can be quite long! Especially if you go back and forth. They do not accept card, which I find is normal for nurseries. They accept cash / zelle only. Overall, I believe they are a solid option for those unknowledgeable about plants. All my questions and concerns were thoughtfully considered.

They had birds of paradise of every size, and I was able to see what my little one will grow into :) There were also so many fruit trees, avocado trees, and other plants! I definitely have to come back here the moment I have a place with a yard! I need one of these avocado trees! the guy who helped me was super friendly, and I must admit, the entire thing felt therapeutic. Going on their website is helpful because you can see what is in stock, but I had no idea how vast this place was. I'd only been looking at CA native plants, so from my parking spot to the pick-up desk I maybe only covered 1/15th of the area, if that. I've been looking for a local nursery with a wide selection of California natives, & have been lurking Ricardo's Nursery's online selection for a month. Finally purchased a 1-gallon Cleveland sage (Salvia clevelandii 'Winnifred Gilman') for $12 & a 1-gallon Yankee Point Carmel Creeper (Ceanothus griseus var. horizontalis 'Yankee Point') for $10. They had different variations of each plant reserved for me for me to choose from which was so endearing because I am secretly picky. Spoke with Jose who was super cool. There's also a very chill dog :) I was surprised by how vast the selection was in-person. The white sage (salvia apiana) in stock is just gorgeous. There are soooo many others I want to purchase, so thank goodness for my wallet that my project is fairly limited. (For now!) I would've wandered around photographing every single plant if it wasn't a million degrees outside & I didn't have to be somewhere. In just the 3 minutes it took me to walk to the pick-up stand, many plants caught my eye & I was reading the labels to figure out who they were. Really loved this one plant I saw--Silver Falls dichondra (Dichondra argentea 'Silver Falls'). This is a very large place. The only problem is that although there are plenty of workers, none of them are in charge of charging you. This nursery is located off the 91 freeway and Lakewood. It's underneath some power towers. There's a few parking spaces inside and some street parking. There's a few very cool wall murals. Everything seems neatly organized. There's a small variety of pots, a shed full of bags of small decorative rocks, a price list, and then the succulents are nicely arranged and categorized. There's a table full of collectors succulents and cacti, cacti, succulents starting with small 2 inch pots, and it works it's way up to 8 inch pots. There's a lovely variety of succulent plants and their prices are clearly listed. If any succulent has a different price, it's shown so there's no surprises. The plants look super healthy and well taken care of. The staff there are very friendly! Great nursery to shop at.
