This facility is huge. I've driven by this facility many times, but today I decided to stop by. My mom she is an avid planter. She loves doing yardwork that's just her therapy. We have been looking for a good Carnation plant. It's really hard to find them especially a natural organic one. I just had to make a stop here today, and it was bit confusing since I don't have much knowledge and plants, however I was able to get my questions answered. This facility only carries flowers and vegetables. I walked around and end up with few carnations and gardenia. Definitely will return to this facility.

Our go-to nursery. We would drive all the way from Costa Mesa to buy our plants from CPG. They have a great variety of plants for our garden. They also have herbs and seasonal vegetable plants for sale. Too bad they don't have a green house, I'd surely end up buying more plants, if they did.

My neighbor recommended this place and so thrilled that I came. This place is a little heaven for veggie growers. All their plants are healthy and the customer service is great. I can't wait to come back for flower plants.

Very knowledgeable and helpful at this local nursery. This is now our go to spot for spring planting. Prices are competitive.

Great value to buy plants. I always go here first. Customer service could be a little better but at least they sell to the public.

We came with non-specific plants in mind, and he helped us narrow down what would fit our plans, even right down to which specific plant would be best out of the bunch. It is highly recommended to talk about what you need before walking, as the walk can be quite long! Especially if you go back and forth. They do not accept card, which I find is normal for nurseries. They accept cash / zelle only. Overall, I believe they are a solid option for those unknowledgeable about plants. All my questions and concerns were thoughtfully considered.

I had been on the market for a Birds of Paradise, and since I have an apartment, I knew I needed to get a baby one so that I have the space, and I can just grow it over time. They had birds of paradise of every size, and I was able to see what my little one will grow into :) There were also so many fruit trees, avocado trees, and other plants! I definitely have to come back here the moment I have a place with a yard! I need one of these avocado trees! the guy who helped me was super friendly, and I must admit, the entire thing felt therapeutic. Just walking through the nursery, inhaling all the scents from the plants and trees. It all felt tranquil and calming. I'll definitely be back! And I'm so excited to grow my baby birds of paradise! She grows so much every day!

A holy grail! Tons…read moreof plants both native & nonnative that you wouldn't find at a large-scale store like Home Depot or Lowe's (I know because I've been looking). Going on their website is helpful because you can see what is in stock, but I had no idea how vast this place was. I'd only been looking at CA native plants, so from my parking spot to the pick-up desk I maybe only covered 1/15th of the area, if that. I've been looking for a local nursery with a wide selection of California natives, & have been lurking Ricardo's Nursery's online selection for a month. Finally purchased a 1-gallon Cleveland sage (Salvia clevelandii 'Winnifred Gilman') for $12 & a 1-gallon Yankee Point Carmel Creeper (Ceanothus griseus var. horizontalis 'Yankee Point') for $10. They had different variations of each plant reserved for me for me to choose from which was so endearing because I am secretly picky. Spoke with Jose who was super cool. There's also a very chill dog :) I was surprised by how vast the selection was in-person. The white sage (salvia apiana) in stock is just gorgeous. There are soooo many others I want to purchase, so thank goodness for my wallet that my project is fairly limited. (For now!) I would've wandered around photographing every single plant if it wasn't a million degrees outside & I didn't have to be somewhere. In just the 3 minutes it took me to walk to the pick-up stand, many plants caught my eye & I was reading the labels to figure out who they were. Really loved this one plant I saw--Silver Falls dichondra (Dichondra argentea 'Silver Falls'). I cannot wait to come back when I have more time & resources to devote to gardening so that I can find more little friends. Thank you so much Ricardo's Nursery...!!

He finally bought what looks like a twig to me, planted it in a pot & has been watering it. I can't even tell if it will come alive or not & there are no leaves or sprouts, or any sign of life to it yet. I searched Yelp & found Ricardo's and called them yesterday. They said they jave several 15 gallon persimmon trees & delivery will be $20. We went today & they had varying heights of 15 gallon persimmon trees, ranging from $150-180. We wanted to get the 15 gallon so we can get reimbursed partially for it as we are participating in LB's Lawn to Garden program. Today they said delivery will be $35 (we live 3.5 miles away) so I am taking one star away for raising the delivery fee once we are at the store. But otherwise, everyone was helpful, knowledgeable, & friendly. One staff even pry opened an ice cream fruit & my husband tasted it. (I'm not so adventurous so I demurred...) They have many mango trees, avocado trees, pomegranate trees, drago fruit trees, & many, many other plants. We only stayed in the entrance area & there were so many plants. They have many drought tolerant plants, including succulents. They do not have citrus trees due to fruit flies & state quarantine zone rules. Overall, nice big nursery with helpful staff. Glad we found them & will be back!!
