I took my car in for an oil change and they changed the oil and did a maintenance check on the car they call me that I needed a cabinet air filter replacement I told them I will change it myself. I pick up the car and went to the auto store to buy a new filter to put in and found they broke the air holder cover latch and a missing screw to hold the drawer in. I took the car to them and show the manager the broken part and missing screw, he said he will order a new part to replace it. I waited weeks and call him to see if the part is there and he said NO after couple weeks goes by I call back and he said they didn't break it and they will not replace this for me. read more

The guys working at the front desk seemed to have great knowledge of repairs that needed to be done to my son's car, 2004 Honda Civic, when we first took it to this business in August 2018. Pep Boys in Conyers said we needed repairs that would cost us more than $700. Conyers Tire said the repairs should only be around $100, so I paid $137.45 on August 30, 2018 for some repairs to be made so his car would stop running hot. A few months later we noticed that his car started running hot again. In February 2019, we took it back to this business and they told us that now the car would need a radiator and all the problems would be fixed. We moved forward with the repair and paid $634.42 on February 27, 2019. Within the next 30 days, the car started to run hot again. Initially they advised us that it was probably something wrong his gauges. We waited a few more weeks and brought it back in because it was getting too consistent. After taking a look now Conyers Tire said it would need a water pump, valve cover gasket, and timing belt needed to be replaced and this would surely fix the problem. So we moved forward with the repair, paying $962.86 on April 29, 2019. Not even two days later my son sends me a video from his phone of his car smoking under the hood. I have him take it back up to Conyers Tire, they say they needed to replace a part and everything would be fine. Well, after they "replaced the part" less than three days after that, the car was smoking again, so bad it was coming through the vents while my son was driving on his way to a final exam (he's a high school senior). He pulled over and called Uber to come get him. He was almost late and it would have caused him not to graduate! After the exam, he came back to the vehicle and drove it home. A few days later we took it back to Conyers Tire so they could FIX the issue, and the owner Don calls me to inform me of what's happened. He starts by telling me that it's my son's fault because he drove it while it was overheated. He says, "It's common sense that you stop driving the car if it's overheated and that since he didn't, we're at fault and we should be responsible for the new repairs which require a new motor because it's internal damage. First off, Don was very disrespectful by telling someone what's common sense when my 18 year old son is no mechanic and if he was on his way to his final exam AND we had paid to have this overheating issue fixed, to the tune of $1,700+ you'd think we wouldn't even be facing this! Secondly, I asked him what solution could he provide us to fix this problem and he had none, other than us paying him AGAIN to probably screw up the car even more! Then he hung up on me when I informed him that wasn't a good resolution. He called back within a few minutes to ask me to come get my car. This is not a great way to treat a customer that trusted you with their vehicle, over $1,700 of their money, and have had 0 positive results from what they paid you to fix in the first place. I hate to submit a review like this, but potential customers need to know. My attorney will also be contacting them as well. It's sad a business owner will take your money and if they can't deliver successfully, make it right. read more

I've been dealing with Conyers Tire for quite a few years. The past owner retired and I had trepidations about going into the shop again...however, the current owner(s) have the same abilities to do all the right things. The addition of a repair facility under the same roof was a good move that has passed down in ownership. I've had two old trucks that have been serviced and repaired back in the shop and in all instances, the work done correctly and without any lingering doubts about the quality parts or installation. And the price was right on the money when it came to labor and materials for all work and service. read more

I WAITED ... BUT NOW ITS TIME! I DECIDED TO LEAVE MY EXPERIENCE WITH CONYERS TIRE I used Conyers Tire and they've always done a good job. Within the last year or so I'm not sure if they've changed ownership or exactly what's going , but I can assure you it's not the same. Mind you , me , and my employees have purchased at least 20 sets of tires from them. I'll start by saying on at least three occasions they didn't rotate or balance my tires. I became suspicious so I started marking them and they were not rotating them. After reviewing the cameras each time Andy said to bring the car back. What a huge inconvenience since you now have to make an appointment for service. This was on a GLE 350 , Honda Civic and F150. I had a new set of tires put on my wife's GLE350 Mercedes and asked for a comparable tire. They recommended the Kuhmo rated 65,000. At 30,000 they said she needed new tires because they were worn out. I called Don and went by for him to see , he was going to call Kuhmo and call me back , but never did. I called him on four occasions and sent 3 emails, and never got a response. I emailed Conyers tire Kuhmos warranty guarantee , but still no response.come to find out they didn't put the recommended XL tires on there , which Mathew said they should of put on because it's a heavier vehicle. Kuhmo has an excellent warranty and will prorate tire wear providing the tires are rotated every 5,000 miles. I think the reason I never heard back was because Conyers Tire failed to rotate them like they were supposed too, and I caught them on 3 separate occasions. Oct 5th I had the oil changed in my 2013 F150. The next morning there was a puddle oil in my garage so I opened the hood only to find out they left the oil cap off and it was sitting on the top of my battery. I sent pics to Mathew and he said he would call me back. He did call back and said after checking that they did in fact leave it off and said to bring it back and they would top it off. I live in Lake Oconee... not a chance , you're an hour away. I understand people make mistakes, but it gets better. Oct 12th I take my other 2007 F150 truck. After driving it for a few days I started a burnt oil smell. I pulled in a gas station and popped the hood. I could not believe it , but they left the oil cap off again. My best advice would be , if they change your oil , check the oil level and make sure the cap is on. Mark your tires if you plan to have them rotated, just to be sure it gets done. First, I've know Don for several years and have never known him to give bad customer service. But today for him to tell his tech take the tire off the rim and give her her damn tire, I was appalled to say the least. Don worked at NTB and Kauffman Tire prior to buying Conyers Tire Co and I have been his biggest fan considering I own 6 vehicles and trusted Don and his staff to assist with all my tire needs...still in the back of my head all I hear him saying is give her her damn tire. So on January 10, 2019, I had an issue with one of my tires and I contacted CTC and was told that they did not have my tire size in stock but would order it and should have it in by 9:00am January 11...cool so I thought. I call CTC on January 11 around 10:45 since I didn't hear from them and was told your tire should be here in about 30 minutes. Two hours passed and still no phone call from CTC. So I head over to CTC to check the status and I was told that the delivery truck broke down...understandable and that my tire should be at CTC in one hour...cool. I state that I have some errands to run in the area while we're all waiting for the delivery. Two and half hours go by and I revisit CTC, and am told that the tire is on the rim but I never received a phone call. By this time, I've already sourced another tire that $50 cheaper than CTC. I tell Don that I'm going with the other company because my faith in CTC has dwindled and he steps behind the door and tells his tech take the tire off and give her her damn tire. All this time I thought Don was a Christian and values his customers. Today I saw a different person that I no longer want to do business with and whom I highly respected and sent many referrals. These gentleman made it easy for a lady to purchase tires. They were extremely courteous, yet knowledgeable. They gave me a fair price and DID NOT haggle me for additional services that I didnt need. Thier facility is clean and not 'bootlegged'. They were super quick and they take appointments and walk ins (like me) with the same great customer service. Conyers Tire is the ONLY place I will ever go to buy tires from now on. I have driven by there for years, and when I was told by my maintenance shop that I needed tires, I figured I would give them a shot. After shopping around, they had the BEST price on tires. The dealership had one of those "buy three get one free" deals at the time. To my surprise, Alex at Conyers Tire was still lower than the dealer. These guys are very friendly and have GREAT customer service. Plus, it always feels good knowing you can support the local family business rather than the big corporate companies that only care about what their paycheck is at the end of the week. read more
