Talking about the Mavis besides Drive time, conyers. This is the worst business I ever patronized. I went in for Alignment and they convinced me to change 2 tires, ( I knew one had a nail in it ) , I agreed, they also mentioned changing my wipers and I agreed, I also agreed to a oil change which I normally do at Walmart. Ended up spending about $460. I was there about 9 hours as against 1 hour they promised because they did wrong and my car started shaking while I drive. I returned 3 times same day, they also detected something was wrong but they couldn't detect, they went into my rotors, brakes etc but got worse. I called customer care and they directed I take the car back for re-balancing. I chose to got to another Maviis and they found out that my tires were bad. We discovered that instead of removing the 2 damaged tires from my car, they took out the 2 good ones and replaced with new ones. I was still left with thee 2 bad tires that I paid iMavis to replace. read more

In addition to all the other things that weren't handled properly, my tires were never rotated. The one tire I didn't replace was left in the rear and should have been switched with the new tire on the front. A complete bust. read more

Left my car here at 2:00 on a Sat for a set of tires, rotation, and balance. They close at 5:00. I had to call at 4 something to check on the car to only be told that my front tires needed different sizes than the back. Why did I need to call you for this information near closing?? I came in for a oil change and it went well I started coming here because the dealership price was high, but Mavis price is getting close to the dealership price which may result in me going back to the dealership in the future. I will say the service has always been great I have no problem with the quality either. Like a previous reviewer I purchased all my tires from here and when I come for tire rotation, please tell people they will need a front-end alignment before they drive away. read more

I made an appointment for 1 pm I got 3 new tires and an alignment. They didn't take me back to show me the tires and see if I wanted to replace 3 instead of just two like planned until 2:30 they finally came out for me to pay at 4 which I had to immediately return bc the car now pulled hard to the left which wasn't an issue before so needless to say the alignment wasn't done. I'm still here and they close at 5 which is rapidly approaching. I watched the guy test drive it how did he not notice or did he just not care and hope I wouldn't say anything. read more

On 06/13/2024 my son bought 2 brand new tires from Mavis tires and brakes in Conyers, GA the iris drive location he spent $616.00 for just two tires and brakes (brakes only in the front). on 06/17/2024 just 4 days later while driving on the expressway (65 to 70 mph )one of the brand new tires blew out, I mean completely split wide open, the one on the driver side (rear). The car spun out of control and hit a concrete wall on the express way. Thankfully no one was hurt, we could have lost our lives because of this tire/ tires that was put on his vehicle, the car is completely totaled. The police officers/ EMT's were in disbelief when they saw the tire and kept asking where did we get the tire from!! thankfullly everything is in the police report. We have had this Honda for many years and have bought plenty tires from random tire shops and nothing like this has EVER happened. We regret ever buying tires from Mavis tires and brakes, this has turned into a nightmare. I have tried to reach out to the location and have been speaking to Juliette (store manager) about a refund and have been getting a run around about the situation. All she has said was that she was sorry for what happen. Sorry would not have bought us back had WE died. Saying sorry and doing nothing about the situation does not help at all. We have warranty on everything that was put on the vehicle. She said she would file a claim but we haven't heard anything. That was our first time getting tires from them and surely our last. Lesson learned. NEVER EVER AGAIN. sadly it took a near death experience to learn this lesson. read more

This is the second time I have brought my car to Mavis, and both times were a great experience. David Bell really took the time to explain what I needed to have done and what would work within my budget without making me feel pressured to do everything at once. I always get nervous taking my car to a mechanic, but I never feel like they're trying to oversell at this shop. I really appreciate the service and the prices here! I needed a tire rotation so I called Mavis on Iris Drive and I spoke with Gellet. I told her I couldn't get there until almost 6pm, she told me to come on in and she'd get me taken care of. When I arrived everything was ready for me and they took my vehicle in immediately. Gellet and her crew are very professional and attentive. I have never had any problems with this location. Do not get the "warranty" it's a rip-off. It's $15 per tire for a useless tread depth warranty and that's all. I paid $66 dollars per tire less than a year ago and they charged $105 for the same tire. I took it in for the warranty, they said it had a nail in the side wall and needed replaced. I thought the warranty would cover it until I checked out. They even charge you for the warranty again, rip-off. read more
