I have had good experiences with Dr Davis, however Dr V is the reason for my negative experience and bad review. My daughter is 14 months old about two months ago I took her in for a fever. She was checked out and told it was an upper respiratory infection, just take Tylenol. That night her temperature got to 103.6 with Tylenol and we took her to the ER where we found out she had a double ear infection. One day of antibiotics and she was better. Two weeks ago she had a fever again and I told them she recently had the ear infections, maybe it was that? Again we were told by this pediatrician that she had an upper respiratory infection after they examined her at 9am. By 1pm she was inconsolable so I took her to Cooks Children's Urgent Care where they confirmed she had a double ear infection AGAIN. I called the clinic to notify them, two weeks later they have never called me back. Needless to say we will be changing pediatricians.

Within minutes I could tell the lady at the front desk wasn't thrilled to be at work. The nurse that called us back and took my child's measurements couldn't have been more cold and stand offish. Zero eye contact, zero small talk, zero interaction with my child (the patient!). Dr Hiatt was the only light I saw in that building. She was great with my child and seemed genuinely happy to be seeing us. The next nurse was just as uninterested as the other two gals in the office. Parents already have stress around taking their children to the doctors, the last thing we want is to feel unwanted and like an inconvenience. Customer service is beyond important, especially in the pediatric world.

Our daughter had an ear infection and the doctor made her come in 3 times to look at it. Not because it was that severe or swollen but because she just could not figure out how to actually look at my daughter's ear and diagnose. Absolutely insane and miserable for my daughter as she kept tugging on her ear to the point that it hurt her. They also misdiagnosed strep throat for a UTI leading to multiple unnecessary visits. The only reason they caught that it was strep throat was because I diagnosed it myself. Again absolutely absurd. Seems like they have no idea what they are doing and are trying to rack up as many visits as they can just to take your money. Please do not go here if you actually want to solve your child's health issues!

My first disappointing experience was when I called to schedule a sick appointment for my son. I was told they could not see him due to a $25 cancellation fee. I went ahead and paid the fee and decided to give the office another chance. After being a patient there for two years, I recently called to schedule appointments for my three children after they became sick. I was told they could not schedule all three of them because of a previous cancellation. That was very frustrating and disappointing. Looking back, I should have taken my business elsewhere after the first incident when they refused to see my sick child. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this clinic due to the way the front office handles patients. It truly feels like they care more about money than the well-being of the children.

He has over 5 life threatening food allergies and is being treated by an allergist while more are being discovered and he is receiving treatment. My allergist was surprised our pediatrician didn't prescribe us an Epi pen even before what they said were unnecessary tests to get the referral. I never raised concerns about this oversight but I raised concerns to his doctor about a pause in his schedule since it's all immune related BUT I was shut down instantly and felt the very hard vaccine Push which led me to keep quiet after. (I was wanting to talk about recommendations regarding the CDC guidelines of immune compromised children and her thoughts for my child as an individual patient). They then dropped BOTH my children as patients after this however citing "philosophical differences". This practice feels very rigid and greedy to me. A different Dr at this office was rude before my child's circumcision at the hospital when I was alone without my husband or a nurse. He did not do a great job on the technical part and it led to issues with his skin down there but I felt our doctor kept covering for him. It made me lose some trust months ago. I do not recommend bringing your child to this Doctors office. This is now TWICE they have…read moreprescribed dangerous medication to my daughter who is now only 10 months. A few months ago, she was prescribed an antibiotic That made her poop blood. At the ER, they said there's no way she should have been prescribed that medication. She was maybe 6 months old at the time. Now, a few days ago, she was prescribed Benadryl (for adults). We're back at the ER and once again, they're telling us that she should not have been prescribed this medication. A 10 month old can't even process the medication and break it down in their system apparently. He's also been telling us to give her over-the-counter Benadryl for months! Absolutely ridiculous. They obviously are complacent and don't care.
