I would completely avoid this place. Burger looks like it's from a middle school lunch cafeteria, service is miserable (the girl at the drive through asked why I talk slow) when they actually acknowledge your presence, not to mention I had to repeat my order at least 4-5 times. Also their "double order of fries" is roughly a handful.

I've gone to this location a few times and it's always been good, but today I went and it's clear this shift of crew members have given up. It was a steady line of drive-thru customers coming into the building after receiving their order because something was missing or wrong. There was a gentleman in front of us who left because no one acknowledged him and he'd been there 5-10 minutes waiting to place his order. We placed our order and it came out quickly (2-3 minutes). Now I see why and the reason isn't good. I'll post a pic of the receipt and my burger with the burnt bacon.

This Cook Out location on Bush River Road in Columbia is a great place to go for quality and quick food at a good value. I have been happy with all of the orders that I have made from here. The staff here is very friendly and efficient at getting everything together.

This is not my favorite Cook Out. I am a huge Cook Out fan. You get a lot of great food for next to nothing price wise. This one has been steadily rolling down hill for the past couple of months. It's always been hit or miss, but I never left regretting my decision until recently. The quesadillas didn't even have melted cheese, and the chicken tender in my chicken wrap was mostly breading. The fries were also obviously old. By all means, go to Cook Out, just maybe not this one unless it's your only option. Side Note; the milkshakes are still the bomb. The food is the problem.

This is probably the nicest Cook Out I've ever been to. The inside was spotless and more modern-looking than any others I've seen. The decor was like all the others, with local college team pennants and signs everywhere (Mostly Game Cocks stuff). The food was nice and tasty! I got a Cook Out Tray with a Grilled Chicken Sandwich, 2 Chicken Quesadillas, and a side order of Fries ($1.19). I got a "Huge Tea" for the drink since I was traveling. The regular drink and the huge tea cost the same ($1.99) and I always put soda in the tea cup anyways. My meal + my fiance's was under $14 which is a great price when traveling!

Super long line and they never really get our order 100% correct. Food always is great!

Not a fan of the food. Service is good and prices are ok, but food is not good. Milkshakes however, are great.

Pawleys Front Porch is a dive bar, and has been featured on an episode of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. We arrived about 15 minutes after they opened, and were the first to arrive. Even after us being in the restaurant for an hour, only two other parties arrived to dine. It honestly felt like a ghost town, and hope that it is not like this every day. Their fried pickles are actually pretty good! They are crispy, hot, and have a good dill taste (good pickles). The chicken tenders are good! They aren't frozen, are crispy, and have good taste. The burger was supposed to come with a pretzel bun, but apparently they haven't had a pretzel bun in three years lol. Why is it still on the menu? We don't know. His burger was a bit overcooked and toppings weren't quite as high quality as last time. Our server was wonderful, and constantly came around to refill our drinks and get us anything we need. It did take a bit of a long time for our food to come out, but that's alright. As long as the food is good we don't mind. We hope to see the restaurant return back to how good it used to be!

We waited an hour or more because they said there was only one cook. We got our burgers (ordered medium) and they were completely overcooked. I wondered if mine was even beef. I stabbed the meat with my plastic knife and lifted the whole rock solid patty puck. Cocktail was decent and they stock Fever Tree ginger beer so stay with the cocktails.

Some call it a dive bar, some are more generous; are there sticky tables, servers with tattoos, a busy bar were suds and cheaper whiskey prevail, and original paint? You bet! Let's get to the food. Lucky's menu features a variety of burgers, salads, wings, hotdogs and sides. Don't expect beer on tap, but an extensive selection of bottled beer should satisfy most folks. We ordered a Black and Blu burger with onion straws and a patty melt with fries. From the time we walked in until our food arrived probably took about 25 minutes. That was our own fault as we took way too long deciding what to order. When our food arrived, I immediately dug into the well constructed burger. I could barely open my mouth wide enough. And the taste? Very tasty. My wife enjoyed her patty melt--a burger on marbled rye with cheese and cooked onions that holds up surprisingly well! My onion straws were crunchy and sweet. Fries weren't great, but all in all an enjoyable burger experience. Oh, did I mention entertainment? Well on Tuesdays you can grab a free bingo card and try your luck winning a gift card!
