Service !!! After a long day we decided to get a treat . Ordered A Cook Out Style Hotdog. One regular and one without slaw and onions . Also onion rings with the sauce . The receipt did not reflect the items in the bag. No sauce and both dogs without slaw and mustard although it was clearly on the ticket . Got home and was very aggravated. Everything is so expensive now days and the servers at these establishments need to SLOW DOWN and make sure the order is right ! The store wasn't even busy . If CFA can master this , and they are very busy, other places can as well. The first person that was helping me was ok, but I guess I was taking to long even though there were only a couple of cars in the lot and no one behind me. I visit this location about twice a month. It consistently meets expectations with food quality and speed. I always go through the drive through and it is generally pretty quick. I have never had any issues with the double burger, chicken wrap, quesadillas, or milkshakes (more like a cup of ice cream but still very good). The cajun fries are good as well, but there's no telling how seasoned/not seasoned they will be. I've never received any food here that I would consider close to undercooked which is also a plus. I was in the ER all day and had not eaten. Googled and saw there was a cookout close by. I've never been there but decided to give it a try. Ordered a burger, Cajun fries, and milkshake. Food was terrible. Burger patty was tiny, burger mostly bread. Also put the wrong condiments on burger. (Did not ask for mayo and missing tomato) Fries were so gross. Undercooked and soggy in the middle and seasoning was nasty. I was starving but couldn't make myself eat them. Banana pudding milkshake was ok. Bananas tasted like they were not ripe yet , so I may be paying for that later but I was hungry and desperate. For the last few years this location has gotten ridiculous in quality and customer service. *IF* they get your order right, it's with an attitude. You can complain all you want, nothing is ever done. So we've been coming to the south from California seven years in a row and cookout is one of our stops that we make on every trip. Food is good, people are always hospitable, and our food always comes out hot. This particular restaurant was quite empty when we showed up around 9 PM, which may be is the Norm around here since it's a small town. Did not have to wait long and things were great. read more

Customer service is not something these places are familiar with. The folks who work here have the mic too close to their mouth or the volume is way too high and their words are intelligible. there is a short black lady who had a VERY nasty attitude when I asked for a second to look at the menu (the drive in is set up where you can't see till you get to the menu) then we waited in line and when we got to the window she coped an attitude the entire time then took 15 minutes at the window. I wasn't very heated about all the stuff before until we were just checking to make sure we had what we payed for and she sat there at the window giving us faces. I understand having a bad day but don't bring it to work and don't get mad when we have to double check to make sure we got what we paid for. I know that's not too much to ask for.
