They arrived just after 8, got right to work removing the old fence and worked straight through until 3:30. The gates came complete with locking latches and keys. Hayden gave me a lesson in how to lock the gates from either or both sides. They are so cool. The team totally cleaned up and removed all construction debris. Except for the new fencing you would never know they had been here. It wasn't perfectly level, so leaving it open would cause it to slowly close, even with no wind. It had to be always locked to the ground. 2. Wood staining was poorly done, leaving parts of the wood exposed and uneven stain coverage. 3. Only 6 months after installation, several of the screws that attach the boards to the metal frame snapped/broke, leaving the boards completely loose/dangling. When we contacted the company to fix, they wanted to charge us $300 to fix it. When we argued that this is unacceptable, they said they would come over to fix but never did and just went silent. Totally unacceptable and unprofessional behavior.

Contract called for replacement of metal fence with similar but taller fence and installation of…read moretwo gates. During installation, contractor broke a water line. Now, in spring, we are using our irrigation service company to start our sprinklers. He discovered a broken water line inches from the new fence post. Beware: the contract Superior has you sign includes an agreement that any damage to utilities and waterlines is not their fault. They do the work; they do the damage; they're not responsible. I was just shown a section of pipe that Superior damaged and tried to replace. Very shoddy work. It does show that they knew they damaged the waterline but now are not interested in making it right. I have the "repaired" pipe available if anyone wants to review it.
