Was nervous at first since she had some difficulty checking us in. Not her fault though since the check-in system was kind of confusing and they were having some internet trouble (the AT&T guy was walking in and out of the store getting things going). During his haircut, she was very calm and cheerful with him. Had some toy dinosaurs he could play with since the TVs/IPads were down due to the internet troubles. He didn't need the electronics and was happy with the toys she let him play with. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and we left happy. Will be back when we need to cut his hair again.

At that point, I had no real choice. This is a children's salon, and not every child sits perfectly. The charge was listed as a "Layered/Feathered Cut/Bob" service, not an extra fee for a child being "difficult." I've brought my boys here several times, and this has only happened with one stylist. It also makes me wonder whether children with autism, ADHD, sensory sensitivities, or other disabilities would be charged extra if they struggle to sit still. If there is an additional charge, it should be clearly disclosed before the service, not after. I also emailed management about this issue and have yet to receive a response. I received Four messages regarding my appointment and asking me to confirm it. I confirmed each time. I drove 35 minutes and was pulling into the parking lot when I received a phone call 12 minutes before my appointment that it was cancelled. It's very odd because there was ZERO APOLOGY OR CARE from their receptionist. When I stated that I was in the parking lot, she replied with, I called you 30 minutes ago. I don't think this person realizes that caller id shows when someone calls and/or texts. The salon was exceptionally unprofessional and quite frankly, downright rude. I understand that things happen but to cancel the appointment after you confirmed it four times, 12 minutes before the appointment is exceptionally unprofessional. Had they apologized, or cared at all, I would not be writing this review. I was polite and professional, and honestly just taken aback. Toni did an INCREDIBLE job. She listened to what I wanted, calmed me down, and then did such a wonderful job with my son. She was knowledgable and patient with him. They had balloons and suckers for the kiddos, and cartoons playing at each station. There was plenty to keep him occupied! Everyone was very friendly and made this the best experience, we will only be going here for our kids cuts!

She was the ONLY one who was able to cut my sons hair right especially with his fits every.single.time- she always comforted him and dealt with his fits no problem and gave him a great hair cut every time. She knew how to handle him well. She gave him his first cut up all way to when he was 5 and never had a problem with her cuts. She was always booked. There was one time I booked last minute and wasnt able to use her so I instead used Lisa. Lisa knicked my son on the neck, gave him a crooked line on the front and back, and did not talk to him through or comfort him. Its truly sad that Tonis gone. Yall lost a good one. Why 5 stars? Because it's hard to imagine taking our son anywhere else…read more --- --- --- Our two year old, like most two year olds, does not enjoy getting his haircut. So if you're going to take him somewhere, it better be a place where there are fun things like cars for seats and TVs with unlimited cartoons on them. And most importantly, a post-cut balloon on stand by. We just moved to the area from Tampa, where we had a Sharkeys that was practically walking distance from our house. While this Sharkeys is a few miles away, I think it will be our to-go until he can appreciate the finer things in life like a straight razor cleanup at a barber shop. This particular haircut was probably the one he disliked the most, for whatever reason. And the person who cut his hair (her name escapes me, unfortunately) dealt with our crazy toddler like a champ. His crying and rapid movements really did not phase her and his cut ended up looking great. He pretty much cried from the moment we put him in the chair until he was given the aforementioned balloon to celebrate the torture being over. We'll be back and hopefully, we've seen the worst of his outbursts during haircuts.
