Cookies N Pint is a cute little cookies and ice cream shop in historic Downtown Upland. I was in the downtown area for summer festivities and decided to check it out. There are street parking and public parking lots in the area. Entering the shop was nice and cool, coming in from the hot outdoors. The interior was quaint and didn't really have seats to enjoy the treats in the shop. I would have tried their cookies but none of them looks great. I decided to get the One Scoop ($5.50) in the Lemon Swirl flavor since Upland has a Lemon Festival since we used to be lemon groves. The ice cream has great texture. The flavor was well balanced and creamy with a good amount of lemon flavor. It just melted really fast as soon as I stepped outside. I stopped by Cookies N Pints and was honestly impressed. The cookies are thick, soft, and super moist exactly how a good cookie should be. Every bite felt fresh and rich without being too sweet. The first thing I noticed was how pure and light the vibe was. It drew me in. There's a strange angelic quality to this store. And the smells wafting from the kitchen kept me there. And then there's the baked goods display. The cookies are large, chewy, bursting with flavor and best of all - not too sweet! Had we not been too full from lunch, we would've gotten some ice cream. 6/7/25 Happened to pass by while attending the lemon festival in Upland! What a nice surprise! Got a refreshing mango lemonade (which was way too sweet for my taste) then saw lemon ice cream with lemon curds! So creamy with the right amount of tang. I love this place so much. Two years ago, I had Levain cookies in New York and have been chasing that same craving ever since. She never greeted us, was harsh, and was only chit chatting with the customer in front of us. There is a way to talk to people and her mannerism was rude so we decided to head over to Klatch for some coffee. Hanging out in downtown Upland, I decided to hit up this spot and give it a shot. Their ice cream is pre-packaged, but the cookies and cream ice cream that I had wasn't bad at all. I did mention that it was my first time, but aside from answering my question about what was the most popular ice cream, there wasn't really much suggestion or explanation on the other flavors. Overall, the ice cream was alright and the cookie was better. There's no place to sit inside, so ambience is non-existent. You'll either have to post up on the bench outside or just walk around. Would I try again? Sure, if I'm in the area. As a first impression, I'd say it's closer to 3.5 stars as meh/whatever...not exceptional. I'd say Scoops on Tap in Covina definitely tops this spot if you're willing to make the drive. Afters and Handel's top out the other two spots to round out my top three personally. read more

Got their 12 min before closing and we were turned away because the gal told us they would be closing soon and she wasn't serving ice cream any longer but that we could buy a cookie if we wanted. Came for the lemon fest, stayed for the cookies. I am a professional cookie HATER. This place alone is single handedly changing that. The server was incredibly helpful in guiding my sister and I in the right direction to make our first official purchase (lemon cookie for June) and we woke up the next day with zero regrets. Oh... Big enough for two adults to share. I selected the blueberry muffin cookie for my blueberry-loving boyfriend. He really liked it but I thought it was on the drier side and let him half my half. Just popped in for my first time! Thought I'd have a novel ice cream flavor coming it, but the monthly (August, 2025) cookie flavor, banana walnut chocolate chip, radically modified that plan. I broke it over a scoop of the house vanilla bean. Both items were standalone spectacular, but the combination of the two could not have been more complementary and satisfying.
