It's a true panaderia with la concha of different choices (a few times they were really dry and crumbly), cookies (tasted stale the past 3 times), and the churros (ALWAYS the win here)!!! The churros are delicious when they're freshly made - regular cinnamon sugar, filled with chocolate or vanilla. THIS is why I come here! Some of the pastries are hit or miss, maybe depends on when I'm stopping in? The churros however are always good and keeps me coming back. Plus I can't walk into a Mexican bakery and not leave with a la concha or other goodies.

Aside from the parking being more chaotic than usual the most disappointing part was the fresh bakery section. They must hire an extremely experienced pastry chef for the level of cakes and cheesecakes they're trying to create. The filling in the tarts were "off" .. the cheesecake flavors and consistency wasn't tasty at all. The cake was blah and didn't taste like the flavor it was intended to taste like. Bought a bag today as I had such a taste for oatmeal raisin cookies. These cookies were do dry I nearly choked on them. The "plump" raisins of yesteryear?? Long gone. Even the packaging was different. These are pretty terrible and nothing like I remember. Sad - but this will be my last bag. $5.99 was a travesty. You should pay ME the $5.99.
