I can't recommend Michael and Cool Auto AC enough. He actually had to come to my house 3 separate times in an effort to fix and trouble shoot my AC issue. In the end, due to the kind of car I have, he referred me to another place to get the work needed done. However he was able to fix other issues related to the larger problem of a failing compressor. Because he wasn't able to fix everything there on the spot, did not charge me for his final visit. Even though he did more diagnostic work and replaced a failed part. Beyond this integrity, Michael is a nice guy- who's mission is clear. He wants to help people. I'm thankful for all of his attention and for going above and beyond. read more

Being a mobile service was helpful because it allowed me to complete other things at home while watching my kids. This is a father / son business. The father talks / texts and sends the son out. The son came and said I needed Freon , filled it and said to call if things weren't working right. I paid $155 just for him to come and look. I was charged $280 total. About 5 months later, the AC was blowing warm again. The car was driven less than 1000 miles from the time it was "fixed". I called the dad and he wanted to charge me another $155 to come and "diagnose" it again. He said the Freon must have leaked out and that it was not his fault. I questioned why I had to pay for another diagnosis after they never found the issue, they just added Freon long enough for them to collect my money and leave with a temporary bandaid. I was calm and polite when talking to the dad. He had absolutely no solution other than taking another $155 from me to come out. Then he got frustrated and said "I'm trying to work with you". I asked what he was doing to help me as he offered absolutely no solution , reduced rate, etc. The conversation ended when he hung up on me. Don't give these CROOKS your money. Who hangs up on people that give them money after no provocation? read more
