I got rear ended back in November. I've been dealing with getting my car repaired through a different auto body and was having trouble getting approved through my insurance. And when I tried going to a couple of shops that my insurance recommended, they wouldn't touch my car because it's a Porsche. After taking it to grizzlies, they dealt with my insurance got my car fixed and my car looks better than it did before the accident. It looks amazing. Our Lincoln was side swiped as it was parked in front of our house, So It was a Insurance claim from a company back East. We has 2 body shops look at the car which had a Long dent front to the back. Came to these guys to have a new (to me) fender installed on my car, since the one that was on my car before was starting to have the paint oxidize. I believe I heard about them on Instagram and wanted to give them a shot because they're local to me and wanted to help them out, especially in times like right now. The price they gave me was very competitive and so I gave them a shot, and man was I blown away by their work. Even though the fender came from a similar car, they can sometimes be slightly different but if the one that I supplied them was, there's no way to tell. After they installed the fender, the lines on the car remained completely intact and the gapping is near OEM quality with the surrounding panels. This is my 2nd visit with Grizzly Auto Body and the Ramirez brothers. Before I say anything I want to preface that I'm only writing what I'm about to write to say it isn't my current nor my overall feelings. While my repairs took an inordinately long period of time; and I'm the first to acknowledge that I can be a bit impatient (borderline tweaker? well, that's a bit harsh , but if the oil burner fits...?) All that was melted way when I drove my truck the next day! I really listened to the engine, the clutch and gears. It drives like a new truck! I treat my 2nd Generation Tacoma better than some of my family members! I notice every little knock, ping, and rattle my truck makes. Since I got it back, It truly drives like it did when I bought it 15 years ago! Thank you Ariel, it drives and handles as good as it looks. Let me say that Ariel didn't do some routine spark plug replacement or oil change; he did a complete clutch replacement with Flywheel AND a water pump replacement. These are 2 very difficult and complex repairs...it separates the guys who tinker on the weekends from the real auto mechanics. While I'm preparing to visit the Ramirez brothers @ Grizzly Auto for a 3rd time and part with some more Grover Cleveland's from my bank account, I do so with no apprehensions. That's because I know "you get what you pay for" is more than just a cliche, it's piece of mind knowing that your getting the very best! These people are great. Took my car to them for a seized ac compressor that also broke the belt. They checked for other damage the broken belt may have done, everything else was fine. They explained what needed to be done and repaired everything for the price quoted. When I dropped the car off they gave me a ride home and then picked me up when the repairs were done. And Grizzly auto Garage was the first shop to pop up . I decided to give the shop a call and was helped and gave a great price and not only did they call me sighing the week to make sure I still wanted to come they got my car in and out in a great amount of time and drove me from the shop back to my home and offered to pick me up. I finally brought my vehicle in to get my brakes done yesterday after procrastinating because I don't trust a lot of people with my vehicle. I had a horrible experience with the dealership that I usually took my car into to get work done. You hear all the horrible stories about dealerships and auto garages cheating people out of their money but I heard about Grizzly Auto Garage, did some research and decided to take my vehicle into them. I took it in, and from the time I walked in the door it was a comfortable experience. Everything was explained to me clearly and the customer service was incredible. I took it in to get my brakes done and they discovered that my tire rods were also extremely bad. They ended up being able to get the part right away and fix it the same day. Then to my surprise, they cleaned and detailed my car which apparently comes with the service. I was extremely happy about that because I waited to get my car detailed until after I got it fixed, and now I didn't have to do that anymore. Not only was the customer service the most excellent I've ever experienced anywhere let alone a car repair place, but the quality of the work is amazing. They also guarantee all of their work. Unlike other shops where they just want your money...This shop wants your business for life. Best of all they are brothers. Even though I live 35 miles away from their shop, I will always no matter where I live in the Bay Area, take my vehicle to them and trust them. These guys are awesome. They helped me install my aftermarket headlights, replaced my Beemers fuel pump and fuel sensor for a mere $1000. They are incredibly friendly. A young bunch of guys with a impressive knowledge of all brands and types of cars and trucks. They held my hand and taught me all about the mechanics of my 328ci. In no way trying to trick or twart my understanding of the mechanics of my vehicle. Very upfront and forward. My car was in the shop for an extra 2 weeks because I couldn't afford to pay all $1000 dollars at once. And while my car was sitting INSIDE the shop, they went ahead and refilled my wiper fluid, replaced my air filter and even tweaked my stereo system all free of charge!! It's hard to find an honest mechanic, but these guys are just that. They will treat your car like a 5 star guest at a luxury hotel. I'm so glad these guys are in my own neighborhood.
