Before finding you, I was dealing with a Class 3 overbite. Two different dentist advised the only way to correct my bite was through an intense, painful process: breaking my jaw, cutting my gums on both sides, then repositioning my jaw, having my mouth wired shut for 6 to 8 weeks, and then i would have to wear braces for a minimal of 3 years after all that. If there's one thing I get a lot of compliments on, it's my STRAIGHT TEETH and my smile - and I owe my awesome grin entirely to Dr.Tahir&his great staff. I had to come in here for regular visits for sometime now I am currently still with braces but, the change is quite amazing! (I definitely remember coming here as far back as middle school) as we corrected a poor bite and uneven teeth. This whole process was worth it. These guys definitely are doing an amazing job with my teeth! As far back as I can remember the staff here have been awesome, friendly, and worked as quickly as they could to help everyone who's come in for an appointment. And that great staff is super important, because without them getting your teeth poked and prodded and painfully adjusted over time could have been an extremely miserable experience. I can definitely say I never dreaded going to an appointment, so seriously, kudos to the staff! Also, kudos to them for dealing with me, because even if I never dreaded an appointment I definitely came in a couple times feeling super cranky because of the pain involved with some treatments. I'm sure little me acted badly at one point or another, but they don't hold it against me. :) They don't slack on maintaining their lobby and building, either. Honestly the place looks as pristine as it did the first time I walked in the office. Their office is bright, clean, and filled with a mix of cartoons, pictures and beautiful origami. So seriously, if anyone deserves 5 stars, it's this place. They work hard and every fellow patient I've met has great results to show for it. I went to several orthodontists to see who I would go for my braces. I had heard of Dr.Tahir from several of my friends and dentists in the area. I've heard he is 'the artist' with teeth and braces and does very good work. As soon as I walked into the office, my experience compared to other dentist offices was completely opposite. It was a happy place with lots of people, flat screen tv's, coffee and smiling faces. They have very friendly people working there who will help you with signing in and giving a tour of the office. I found Dr.Tahir very easy going, not stuffy like I found some other places I went to. I got to meet him even though he was very busy. Dr. Tahir was clear on what needed to be done and then his assitant worked out a payment plan that fit my budget. I'm glad I met Dr. Tahir and my teeth and smile are looking really great. I did a ton of research before starting my braces. My search ended when I found Dr. Tahir's office in Berwyn. The experience could not have been better. I felt comfortable with him and his staff. He answered my questions fully and his office is amazing, very colorful and modern. I love the painted stuff on the wall and pictures of so many people who are doing braces now or he treated in the past. He truly cares about the experience people have in his office and it shows. I cannot recommend him enough! And his staff is super friendly. They even followed up after our appointment to make sure all of our questions had been answered. Wow. Dr. Tahir is by far one of the most amazing orthodontists around. I have been going to him since high school for a total of 12 years. I currently live over an hour away and still drive to him for any routine or check ups in regards to my retainer. He has become a friend and always remembers his patients which is unlike so many professionals these days with high volume of clientele. I had by far one of the worse smiles back in 2003, and today I feel confident and beautiful and it's all thanks to this guy right here. I Love My Braces!!! Dr. Tahir is awesome and his office is an amazing place. I have yet to go to a dental office which has so much energy and people who will help you get the best for you. What I most liked about Dr.Tahir is his attention to detail (I guess his artistic and origami paperfolding stuff) helps him out in this way -- I call him the "orthodontic tooth artist". I came into Dr. Tahir's office with an overbite and teeth that were not lined up. Dr. Tahir and his staff took great care of me from the time I walked in until the time i left. To pass time he has kid friendly movies in the waiting area, a teeth brushing station that is available before being attended to and always helps his fellow orthodontist if they need confirmation on any wire or bracket changes. Dr. Tahir kept me up to date on all of my appointments and what to expect next and always made sure all my orthodontic needed were taken care of before leaving his office. Dr. Tahir is a great orthodontist. Dr. Tahir and his staff are fun, energetic, professional and friendly. I have been very happy with the service and attention they have provided, from the original consultation to putting on and adjusting the braces, and ultimately to their removal. Their prices were very reasonable and they offered me a payment plan that I could not get elsewhere. Parking is not a problem either. Dr Tahir and the team made my daughter's visits amazingly seamless and efficient. Sabrina can be nervous and very shy. I was nervous about getting my braces and Dr.Tahir and his staff were very kind and friendly and put me at ease. For being as busy as this practice is, the dentist is really cool. He is very knowledgeable, truthful and has bed manners. He has updated equipment and the front desk staff are good too. Three of my kids have been patients of Dr. Tahir and really enjoyed going to his office. My youngest daughter will probably end up going also once she's ready. They loved the friendliness of the staff and the welcoming environment. While waiting, we can enjoy a movie or video games. How wonderful is that!
