My daughter had a cracked tooth. We went to a different dentist office first and he made me feel crazy and tried to convince me I was wrong. We ended up here at Cool Dental. They looked at the same X-rays from the previous dentist we had gone to and they immediately knew it was cracked and got us scheduled quickly. I was so thankful because she was in pain. Ms. Debby is the only name I remember and she was sweet and made us feel at home. The receptionist was very polite and hard working. The dentist was AMAZING. The morning of my daughters dental surgery was a long morning. After the oral sedation and the laughing gas my daughter freaked out. She couldn't stop crying as she had never had any kind of dental surgery or any other kind of surgery so it was scary to her. I was comforting her and trying to sooth her and nothing would calm her down. When it was time to start the dentist was so sweet and patient. He sat with us talking to her, letting her know she was going to be okay until he talked her into a calm state. It took at least 10 solid minutes for him to calm her down. He never got annoyed with the crying sobbing child in his chair. He comforted her and went above and beyond to help her feel safe, calm and at ease. When I thanked him for being friendly and patient with my daughter he said it was no problem he loves what he does. Every member of the staff we met was very nice and professional. They did their best to save us money and at the end of the day we did end up saving money. read more

I did a review a few years ago. My service was good then just in a dispute with the office staff! People are VERY NICE here and manner-able!!!! Dr. Delosantos was very nice and informed me of what she was doing and what needed to be done!!!!!!! I'll be back!!! Sometimes you have to give people a second chance!!!!! read more

Updated review: Today I came back to get my night guard that I paid $255 for. It took longer than they told me for it to be made. They said it would be 2 weeks, but it was actually 3. Auxi the manager met with me when I came in to get my night guard and tried to listen to what I had to say and even though there is nothing she can do to correct the issue, she was very sweet and really wanted to make things right. I told her that I just don't want that lady who worked on my teeth to ever touch me ever again. I cried the whole time reliving the story definitely still traumatized from the whole thing. I still don't want to come back here. My concerns are that the staff they hired is trained to rush you. During my visit Auxi told me she hates going to offices where you wait around and don't get seen. I like to actually have all my paperwork filled out correctly so that way I know the office has my insurance to bill and has my allergies so they don't try to kill me, and the rushing doesn't feel any more efficient and they make the whole experience of the dentist way more anxiety filled. Inrelived the whole experience with her and i did my best to make it clear that her staff doesn't have patient comfort in mind. They need to be trained on how to treat people. I wasn't rude or combative and I should not have been treated like I was some idiot who doesn't understand a what a bite wing or an impression tray is. I should not be abused and when I say something hurts or something doesn't fit then they should listen. Auxi seemed to care and want to make things right but there wasn't anything she could do. She also told me and this seemed so random, but that my teeth grinding was because of anxiety. Ok not sure how that all fit into our talk. Especially because I don't have a mental illness and have not been diagnosed with any kind of mental anxiety disorders or anything. And she is not a doctor so I am not sure how to take her speculation. It threw me off. The dentist came in to help me try on the night guard. He immediately insulted my appearance. I had been crying with Auxi because I was telling her about the last time I was there. My face was red. He made comments about how my face was red and how it looked like I had seen too much sun. For the actual night guard when they put it in my mouth. I told him it felt weird. It felt like there was a gap and a lot of pressure on my back teeth and I asked if I should be able to bite down on all of it because isn't that the point of the night guard? The dentist told me there wasn't a gap and again made me feel like the staff doesn't listen to their patients. If I am telling you something doesn't feel right you shouldn't tell me to experience it differently. It would be nice to have them actually look at it and make sure it is correct. I told him my concerns that it wasn't fitting right. He didn't seem to care. I told him that I was getting my bottom teeth corrected for overcrowding and that I was pretty sure that I couldn't wear the night guard and my aligners. He said that was true that I can't wear the night guard and the aligners. I asked how to clean the night guard since they gave me no information on what to do with it. They told me to buy denture cleaner and that it might smell bad. The dentist then told me not to let my pets chew on it. Another odd comment. I basically wasted my whole morning having to re-live that traumatic day, and then because I can't wear the night guard and the aligners I wasted $255 on buying a night guard I will never wear because I can't wear it with my aligners. So overall again I don't recommend people coming here. They will still rush you. They will not listen to you. They will not treat you with dignity. They treat you like you don't know what you are talking about because you aren't a doctor/dentist. They upsell you because they don't listen (like the multiple times I said I was getting my bottom teeth corrected for overcrowding yet they really wanted me to get a bottom night guard). And they waste your time. I appreciate that Auxi was trying to help, but it doesn't make up for the experience and then the fitting with the dentist really solidified that her words were just words and nothing in the office had actually changed. read more

Smh hope the service is not to bad, they are very unreasonable at opening in time this might be my first time and last time here. My son had an ortho consultation at Cool Dental yesterday, February 8th at the location at 1055 Cypress Creek Parkway. The appt was set for 12 noon. Once arriving the first issue was as large as the parking lot was there were no parking spots. I end up parking next to the curb which was not an actual parking spot. We enter the building and there were literally people everywhere. People were sitting and standing in the waiting area. There was a long line at the reception desk to check in. We stood in the line for 5 minutes and then we left. If this is the type of service I can look forward to as a paying customer (no Medicaid here) if I chose this business to put the braces on my son, I want no parts. Normally I do not make comments on dental clinics but this is one business which does not function professionally at all. I went to them with a tooth ache and was subjected to a bunch of X-rays and and a chunk of money was taken from me with a promise another clinic would attend to my root canal!! Imagine my utter surprise the place I was sent to was broken down and one person was manning that place with no dentist in sight. Very unorganized and unprofessional! They could not find my elderly family members new patient info in the computer from the month before. Had to get new medical clearance paperwork from Hospice. When scheduling the appointment I informed them my family member did not have insurance and would be cash pay plus I would handle the finances. They said they would make a note in the computer. I was at work during her appointment and am not allowed to have my phone. They texted and called me needing her insurance information and since I was not able to provide it, they refused to see her. I tried to contact them several hours later and was put on hold for 15 minutes so I texted them back and asked for someone to call me and nothing! I will be finding another dental office! read more

The office staff has no idea what they are doing. They don't know what each other department is doing which causes major confusion for all. Was initially told our insurance was accepted so we went there and filled out all the paperwork. Then was told our insurance was not accepted and left. Received a phone call 15 minutes later saying they were incorrect and that our insurance was accepted. Had the exam and x-rays (which they advertise as free), a recommended a deep cleaning which was done that day, and a cavity was filled. Was asked to come back another day to have more work done. Came to that appointment. Waited 45 minutes past the appointment time then was told they had to reschedule due to the dentist's conflict. Came back for the next appointment and they had me all prepped for filling another cavity then was told they do not accept my insurance and that I needed to go to another dentist. When finally was told my insurance was not accepted I asked them if they billed any to the insurance for anything and the answer was "NO". Now, a month later, I find out that they not only had me paid for their services, but they DID also bill my insurance and was paid by them. They are trying to double bill me (which is illegal). All these appointments, calls, insurance decisions, and communication with me was done by the OFFICE MANAGER. I am now having to fight them to get my money back. I called and made an appointment with them. We arrived five minutes before our appointment time. There were no cars outside so we thought maybe they were just late. Fifteen minutes later an employee opened the door for us and asked us if we have an appointment. We walked in, the employee asked the front desk about our appointment. The lady responded, "we have an appointment?" Then proceed to tell us the dentist is not there that day, had an emergency. I don't know where the miscommunication happened. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Their staff is unprofessional, the dental assistant was recording the procedure without asking & playing very loud music off her phone. She also failed to put the radiation vest on me while taking X-rays and made me redo them three times after realizing. The manager, a Hispanic lady was so rude after we complained, mocking us and making fun of us. The dental hygienist did a terrible job, our "cleaning" was no more than five minutes and she barely touched our teeth, just grazed it. Staff is terrible. The staff are not friendly I believe that is why there are so many bad reviews. The dentist is nice but sometimes are in a rush. They take walk in appointments and this is why they rush because they have too many people to see in one day. I have been to many dentist offices and questions some of the treatment they recommend such as crowns on teeth that does not have any root canal treatment done on it or cavity.. without getting a second option I would have not known that and have probably lost money on a crown I did not need. They do not charge for X-rays in you do not have insurance that a good thing.. My wait was some what long but that happens when you walk in. Over all its a okay place to get your dental work done. I would just recommend getting a second option before getting the work done to know for sure that you need it. read more

Very unprofessional. Treatments aren't done properly and there are complications with each visit. Not satisfied with this place and definitely wouldn't recommend. The staff are rude, and cannot satisfy customers based on my personal experience. Treatment plans aren't adequately explained and there is no connection between orthodontists and assistants. Each individual says something different about the case and lack communication amongst each other. Very disappointed. read more
