I won't name the other company that came out and over charged me for a bunch of hvac I didnt need but Justin from JMV came in and saved the day like Superman. First. He was easy to setup an appointment with and was communicative right away. Thats a star Second when he came to the site he went through both systems thoroughly and explained what was wrong and what we needed to fix and explained how the other company was overcharging was for stuff that didn't need to be fixed. That's a star Third, after assessing the problem he gave us a solution that was a fraction of the cost and ordered the parts right away. The parts were slightly delayed which he communicated right away so that wasnt his fault but the fact he communicated that right away to me was a bonus.That's a star Fourth, the day of install Justin text saying he would be there shortly wnd was on time and started working on the units promptly! Tested the first unit after the fix and BAM WORKED PERFECTLY. At that point I started writing this review. Then, Justin started working immediately on the second unit, no break or anything and made sure that unit worked as well. They said the part is covered by the manufacturer warranty but the labor and the refrigerant is not. The average cost with some google suggests the replacement for a TXV should cost between $185 to $750. Not only are they not standing by their work, they are looking to make a quick buck even after collecting upwards of $20k from me for my air conditioners. I regret ever letting this company do new units in my home. Clearly they do not stand by their work. On top of this, they've rebranded to Houston HVAC Alliance which makes it hard to follow the trend of their business

I thought it would be a great idea for our unit to have a look over after winter. They came out and, of course, they tell me something is wrong. I am in need of a capacitor for a whopping 500! Okay, fine! Thank you for letting me know I needed a new capacitor. I paid it but only a week later it stopped working because it wasn't a capacitor I needed it was to replace the coil per another company who also told us they were unsure why they would replace the capacitor when the coil was obviously needed to be replaced. The tech assured me that EVERYTHING looked good except for my drip pan. I asked the company if there was anything they could and of course, there was nothing they could do. Do NOT use this company even if it is just for a tuneup.
