I called a plumber who was excellent--thorough, professional, and informative. After about 1.5 hours, he determined it was likely a "sweating" air duct and suggested I contact a specialist. I called Air Quality Express, and a technician named David arrived on 8-21-26. He was here for a total of five minutes, no joke. He went into the attic, I heard some movement, and two minutes later he came back. When I asked if he found anything, he said, "No, can't see anything, have to cut the wall (sheetrock)." I asked about the air ducts in that area, and he replied, "I can't see behind the walls." He used a moisture detector, which left two holes in my wall. He was very quiet, hard to understand, explained nothing to me and gone in minutes. Worst service experience I've ever had--they really live up to the "Express" part of their name. Five minutes, no answers, no solutions, and gone. Won't be calling them again. Why do I feel like he might have sabotaged something in the attic?

At least two blower unit rebuilds, a control card, multiple capacitor replacements, and a few pounds of refrigerant every couple years. This year the refill exited far too quickly and I called Heights A/C for a quote. Thomas replaced the old unit and re-worked the ducts for a great result. I was struggling to find a…read moreHVAC provider that would be responsive (not require days or weeks to get them on-site) for my house, my Mother-in-Law's house & the business I manage. I started them out with small jobs & was satisfied. I could call them and they would be there the same day. I had them do some routine preventative maintenance and in addition to them doing the work in a timely fashion and was happy with the quality of their work. Additionally, their prices were better than my existing vendor. Finally, I needed a new condenser & coil at one house. I needed a new coil at the other house. I got prices from my existing HVAC vendor & Precise. The difference was very significant. The one job I was comparing Trane hardware to Goodman so that could have been a part of the very large price difference. However, on the coil job both vendors quoted the same coil (Trane) & labor. Precise was 30% lower. Precise did one job for me on Tuesday & the other job on Friday. Both jobs took a two man crew the better part of a day. After doing business with Precise for about six months I have nothing but positive things to say about their responsiveness & quality of work.
