She told us a little bit about the history of the place and was very welcoming towards us. Her father was "Jack" from whom they got the name of the place from. We did also order some appetizers while we were there. I ordered the pizza log which was really good. It's comparable to an egg roll but with pizza inside. Delicious! If two things weren't enough they also considered themselves an art house and had lots of paintings hanging up around the building. The inside of this place is pretty large with a large bar off to the left side and then some seating and other things off to the right. As I often do whenever I visit a new brewery I decided to go with a flight here. I actually was able to use my wine tastings on beer here but the size wasn't too good and so I paid the $5 for 4 - 4 oz pours. Since the brewery is named 7 sins, as you would guess some of their beer names are also related to that. So for my 4 beers I went with Gluttony (Stout), Pre-prohibition Porter, Greed (Brown Ale) and Frye PA (IPA). Out of the bunch I enjoyed the Frye Pa with the Gluttony coming in a close second. I also thought that the Greed was pretty good but there was something about the porter which I didn't care for. There wasn't anything wrong with it but my palate just didn't care for it. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. I enjoyed most of the beers that I had here and I think that $5 a flight is a steal.
