I've had some great burgers in the past, this one is indeed is top-tier! Also the Greek Fries were on point! Crinkle fries with crumbs of blue cheese laying on them. Sooooo delicious! We stopped here after visiting the Valley and were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant has indoor seating and is clean and well kept. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was solid and tasty. Large portions, good prices, and much of it made in house. We had the gyro, hummus, and grilled chicken Greek salad and enjoyed all of it. The chicken had good flavor and was more roasted chicken versus a grilled breast which was a wonderful surprise. The salad was huge and fresh. The gyro was tender with lots of flavor. All the pita was warm and there was plenty with hummus and salad. The hummus was a particular stand out with jalapeño and cilantro. It was tasty, smooth, and not oily. As noted the prices were very affordable and the portions were large. They have burgers and fries and dinner plate options as well. If you need a quick bite this is a good place to stop. read more

We popped in to Coolidge Patio Grill for a quick lunch while in the area. A pleasant young lady warmly greeted us immediately on entry. She welcomed us to sit anywhere we desired. We still have nice weather so we decided to sit outside on the spacious patio out back. Our bunless mushroom burger, a blue cheese burger and sweet potato fries were quite tasty plus the portions were generous and reasonably priced too! Our server was very attentive and quite accommodating to any special needs. It was quite a nice surprise to find a cute spot to eat at in Coolidge. We enjoyed ourselves and would come back again! I look forward to returning to enjoy the outdoor sitting area in the evening to enjoy that area too! There was a little coffee shop (or something like that in the far corner) called Coyote Den but we didn't get to check them out this time but maybe next time we're here. There was plenty of street parking out front. The staff cleared the tables very quickly so everything was nice and clean even outside! Restroom was cute and clean. As you enter, the sign said seat yourself. My dog and I went straight for the patio. Since there were only high tops available for sitting at, I chose to sit at a bench. After waiting for 10 minutes, seeing a server taking an order from another customer and never being acknowledged, we left. No menu, no water, no attention what so ever. This was a fail. We used to be loyal customers and visited regularly because we truly enjoyed the food and service. Unfortunately, the quality and customer care have gone noticeably downhill lately. On several occasions, we've had repeated issues with our orders -- plain hamburgers requested with only onions would still come with American cheese, despite clear instructions otherwise. One of our family members has a strong sensitivity to that cheese, so it's not just a preference -- it matters. We've even tried checking the bag before leaving, but today the bag was tied so tightly by Maria that we couldn't reasonably open it to confirm the order. Sure enough, when we got home, the burger had American cheese again -- despite it being correctly marked no cheese on the order. When we called, Maria acknowledged the mistake but could not tell us whether a replacement would be ready any sooner than their typical 20-minute wait. With a scheduled appointment coming up, this delay made it impossible to return for a fix. When we explained that replacing just one burger meant our family couldn't eat together -- one person would have no food, one would be driving back, and one would be left to eat alone -- Maria didn't seem to understand or offer any kind of courtesy, like a free burger on our next visit or even an apology. When we called back to ask for a simple refund for the one incorrect burger, Maria refused to process it over the phone and demanded we return to the location. So now, instead of eating, we had to waste even more time. We ended up returning to get a refund for all the burgers since the others were now cold and uneaten. My wife had to wait 20 minutes at the restaurant for Britney, who was supposedly needed to run our card -- but in the end, Britney did not need to run the card at all. This could have been handled over the phone easily. We wasted over an hour and didn't even get to eat dinner. This is unacceptable treatment, especially for a small town business that depends on loyal customers. To make matters worse, when we called back to get the manager or owner's contact info, Maria claimed Britney was the manager. When we asked for the owner's contact information, she hung up the phone. The rudeness and total lack of customer service shocked us. We never expected this kind of treatment from a place we had supported so regularly. We sincerely hope management or ownership sees this and reflects on how to better handle loyal customers with legitimate concerns. read more

I don't know what has changed but it is not in a good way. I order twice a week from here, always the Philly Greek fries and whatever else. Well on Saturday the food looked disgusting and definitely not the quality I have always gotten. I thought maybe it was a bad day. I ordered today and it is the same as Saturday. It looks disgusting, asked for extra marinade and got basically none, the cheese is just thrown on top of the fries. What happened? Why are you changing stuff? It's not good. We were driving from Phoenix to Oracle and decided to stop for lunch. It was early and pretty quiet inside. My husband got the Philly cheese steak. He said it was more like chunks of steak than the thin steak bits that are traditionally on the cheesesteak sandwiches. He enjoyed it. My friends and I were looking for a place to eat near an event we were attending at the community college. Well, if you've never been to Coolidge, let me tell ya, there ain't much in the way of restaurants.there. We came across this place on what appeared to be the main street through town. It did not bode well that there was only one other customer in the place on a Friday evening. If there were other options, we probably would have left. Let me tell ya - this was the BEST Greek food I've had since leaving Chicago ten years ago. The Greek Salad was served on baking sheet. It was HUGE and delicious. I had it with chicken, which was perfectly prepared. It was easily enough for two. Another in our group had a gyro burrito (or something like that). She said it was good as well. I stopped by here this past Sunday afternoon for lunch with my wife and her parents. It was already well past lunch and due to a lack of places to eat on I-10 between Tucson and Coolidge, we hadn't stopped anywhere. So I was pretty excited whenever I looked on Yelp and found the Pita Patio Grill. We arrived shortly after finding it and headed in to place a to go order. This is the type of restaurant where you place an order at the counter and find a seat and they come and find you. They had indoor seating, patio seating and also some nicer outdoor seating. What was surprising is that whenever we entered, not a single person was wearing a mask. Now I am not from AZ but it was recently the Covid Hotspot and so I have to admit that this was particularly concerning. For lunch on this day I decided to go with a garlic hummus and the gyro dinner plate. Since it was a Sunday and they were closed for the next few days, they were out of the garlic hummus. So that meant if I wanted hummus, I had to order the jalapeño hummus and so I did. Then due to the lack of masks, I went to wait outside. After about a 10 minute wait or so, my food was ready and they brought it out to us. I started out by trying the hummus with the pita that was included. It ended up being quite good as the hummus had a nice jalepeno flavor to it and was creamy. After that I tried the gyro which came with tomato and onion on top, gyro strips and then both fries and pita on the bottom. The gyro meat itself was quite good with crispy edges and a soft and juicy interior. I enjoyed dipping it in the tzatziki sauce that came on the side. Then the fries here were also decent and while they weren't anything special, they weren't bad either. The bottom line for me is that i wouldn't come back here again, at least during the Covid pandemic. Their food was good and it alone would have been worth four stars but I just can't overlook the lack of masks. read more

Wow, what a find! We live in casa grande and just happened to be in Coolidge around lunchtime. We had to go out to Maricopa or north to the valley for greek before. The food is amazing, great outdoor seating. We just found our new short drive for great food! They also sell hummus and dressings to go. Might be a good place if it was cool enough to eat outside. We were there in the extreme Heat of summer and it was terribly noisy inside. The food was partially okay. I had the chicken quesadilla and my date had a hamburger. My quesadilla was great and more than I could eat. My dates burger was cremated. We tried the gyro wrap and the chicken kebab wrap which both came on pillowy soft pitas with tzatziki, onions and tomatoes. We got the combo order (salad/fries and a drink). Im not usually a big reviewer however Service was no good i took my wife and daughter and our daughters friend it was our first time and self seating so we were unsure how to get to the patio seating, we found the door and tried to ask someone hey is this where we go through and the waitress "excuse me" and we asked do we go through here and while shooing us through the door with to go boxes exclaimed, "yes im also trying to go outside guys" felt somewhat disrespectful, kinda made us feel as if we werent worth her time, or getting her to go boxes was more important than giving her new customers a positive impression for a first experience, the food was ok at best, didnt really have a problem with the food however a bit ironic with bad attitudes from service around the restaurant while their menu exclaims they bring the good vibes. With the reviews on this place I have been meaning to give it a shot for awhile now and finally the time came to see if they measured up to the hype. The short answer is no. It was super disappointing, especially since it is owned by the guy who runs the Greek Islands Grill up in San Tan, which is a whole new level of awesomeness. Unfortunately the burger was so super thin, so a triple barely competed with a double at other places. It was also so greasy that I could barely eat it as the bun was just soaked, and it just sat in the pit of my stomach for the rest of the night. The fries were nothing special and we had to listen to the singer of the band who was there early loudly sharing his theories on Covid, homelessness, his studio at his house which he hadn't been in for 3 months, hiring employees and just about everything under the sun when he wasn't flirting with a waitress. Like the dude just never shut up. I was going to wait to review this place until I gave it another shot but the prospect of returning to face another meal here was just too daunting a task to take on. The owner of Greek Islands, who is awesome, needs to spend some time down here sorting this place out.
