    Spicy hummus with pita

I'm glad that Persian Garden is in Casa Grande for something different. I enjoyed the spicy hummus with pita. But the gyro plate fell a little short especially compared to Green Corner.

Such a great addition to Casa Grande! The hummus appetizer was incredibly fresh and creamy, and the warm pita was perfect. I also had the Gheimeh, and everything was flavorful and well-portioned. The staff was friendly, the restaurant was clean, and the service was excellent. We'll definitely be back to try more of the menu!

Every detail you notice is extravagant and purposeful. Visiting on a Saturday for lunch, there were plenty of other families eating together too. I noticed the crowd was mostly older, which lets you know this restaurant is a true staple in the community (I find that usually the old people know what's up). As all 4 of us weren't super hungry, we split the Persian Room Special- Combination of barg (Filet mignon), chicken filet and Koobideh kebab, served with basmati rice and grilled tomato. It was a huge portion of food, served on a large silver platter. The menu states that it serves 2, but it perfectly filled us 4 adults! Granted, we weren't super hungry to begin with, but 2 is definitely an underestimate. I'd say it can easily satisfy 3 hungry adults. Anyway, quantity aside, THE FOOD WAS AMAZING! Everything was so flavorful and paired well together. The meat was also juicy. My favorite was the koobideh kebab for sure. There isn't much more I can say, as the food speaks for itself. The Persian Room is definitely something you need to try for yourself. Weeks later, I'm still craving it and will definitely be back!

The location is convenient and the ambiance inside is wonderfully welcoming. My friend is a frequent guest and loves it, so I was really looking forward to the meal. Unfortunately, my experience was dampened when I found a hair on my chicken skewer. Rather than making a scene or notifying the server, I simply removed that piece of chicken and ate the rest. While the remaining food tasted great, the discovery left me feeling grossed out for the remainder of the meal. Overall, the atmosphere and flavors are excellent, but the hygiene slip brings my rating down to 3/5 stars

Such a unique dining experience. You walk in and it doesn't even feel like you're still in Tucson,…read morethe lights are low, and there's columns and a waterfall. It's such a cool aesthetic. Having not had Persian food before, we were grateful for our friendly and knowledgeable waiter. He even brought my husband the can for the beer he ordered so he could see what he was drinking, which was a Persian lager. I had a sip and it was really good. He also showed me how to find what art was hanging if I was curious. Definitely went above and beyond to make us feel taken care of. We ended up getting the eggplant and hummus dip with levash and the Persian room special player which included saffron rice, chicken, filet mignon, and koobideh, who was like a meatball that was cooked on a skewer. Everything was so good, the chicken was actually my favorite it was so juicy. Took a baklava home and it was so good! It tasted a little lighter than others I've tried, like phyllo dough was a little different but I loved it. Recommend checking out this place at least once!

My husband asked about the bread and we were told that it is not gluten free. It was busy, with several families with young children. Someone came right over and gave us water and bread with onions, herbs and butter. My husband said the bread was good. Our server arrived shortly and told our drink order. When she returned with our wine, we ordered the Dolmas appetizer. It didn't take long for the appetizer to arrive and we both enjoyed. We hadn't eaten for many hours so we were quite hungry and ready to enjoy eating. Our entree's took a bit longer to arrive. My husband got the Lamb Loin and said it was quite good. It was a generous portion. I didn't get a photo because it disappeared quickly. I got the Chicken Barg Sultani, which was tasty and an extremely generous portion. I ended up bringing half of it home. I wouldn't call the Persian Room a romantic restaurant, as it was quite noisy when we were there. It is more of an old school, upscale decor with a casual feel. Most people were in shorts and t shirts. It was the dinner hour, so perhaps it would be more quiet earlier or later. There are a lot of choices on the menu, a full bar and an eclectic wine list. We have tried a lot of restaurants in the four years we've lived in Tucson. Most of the time I think it would have been better if I'd cooked it myself. Sometimes it's just nice to not have to shop for a variety of ingredients. This was one of those times. We wanted something different, and the experience was enjoyable.

The chicken skewers were tender, the beef koobideh had great flavor and the saffron rice, pickled vegetables and grilled tomatoes tied everything together. We chose the dolmehs (x6, I ate one before taking the photo) and the two baklavas with our family meal and both were delicious. The owner is also the chef and he truly puts his heart into this restaurant. Every time we have gone, whether it is just us or when we bring family and guests, he always makes a point to say hello, visit our table and make us feel welcome. It adds so much charm to this delicious spot. They also have a huge selection of Ready Meals made in house by the owner. The flavors are fresh and feel like home cooked food made from the heart. It is an amazing option for meal prep because nothing feels repetitive. Prices are competitive with meal prep services and the portions have plenty of protein. The menu has Middle Eastern, Thai, Mediterranean and Desi flavors and everything tastes thoughtful and fresh. It truly is a gem and a place we will be returning to.

Some restaurants chase trends. Others just quietly keep making really good food year after year…read more This is one of those places. I'd been here several times years ago, and after coming back, I'm honestly wondering why I don't eat here more often. I ordered the chicken shawarma, a stuffed grape leaves platter, and hot tea. Everything was exactly what I hoped it would be. The chicken was well-seasoned, tender, and wrapped with the classic toppings, and the portion was fair for the price. Speaking of price, the value here is honestly hard to beat. The stuffed grape leaves platter came with hummus, tabbouleh, pita, and hot stuffed grape leaves. I had completely forgotten they serve them warm, and my brain needed a minute to recalibrate because I'm so used to cold dolmas everywhere else. Once I took a bite, though... yep. That's how they're supposed to taste. Soft, flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and absolutely delicious. I ended up adding some of the hummus and tabbouleh to my shawarma, which made an already great sandwich even better. The service was just as impressive as the food. My server was genuinely kind, gave me a few extra minutes when I couldn't decide, checked in without hovering, and even offered to package my hot tea to go when he noticed I was still working on it. (For the record, ordering an entire pot of tea for one person was an ambitious life choice on my part.) The dining room isn't huge, and there's also a small market attached, which adds to the charm. This place reminds me that consistency is underrated. Years later, I came back, and it was just as good as I remembered. Great food, great service, great value. I'll try not to wait so long before my next visit.
