Full disclosure: I hate malls. I'm not a shopper. I try to be as quick as possible and try to go when there aren't any crowds at all. Green Hills is one my least favorite places in Nashville. Crowded, bad parking, traffic, etc. CoolSprings saves me from having to go to Green Hills. Is it a great mall? Eh. Did it make me change my opinion on malls? No way. But am I glad it's there so I don't have to go to Green Hills? Absolutely. read more

Yet another sparkling shopping center in greater Nashville's panoply of malls. Cool Springs Galleria is relatively upscale--it is in Franklin, after all. It's more or less like Green Hills Mall, only much farther from Nashville proper. Cool Springs has all of the high-end stores you'd expect for a suburban style mall: Abercrombie, Banana Republic, Victoria's Secret, et cetera, et cetera. Parking typically isn't as bad as at Green Hills, but the crowd is a bit more obnoxious. Suburban mall = more rich teenagers. If you're a rich teenager, that probably doesn't sound so bad. The rest of us understand the implications, however. There's nothing about Cool Springs that makes it stand out against other malls in the area. It's less tourist-y than Opry Mills, but it's farther from the city. It's nicer than Rivergate, but it's no better than Green Hills. Basically, if you're in Brentwood or Franklin, this is probably your best bet for a major shopping center. Otherwise, it isn't necessarily worth the trip. read more

My friends and I used to refer to Cool Springs Galleria as "the real mall." When we wanted to make a shopping trip and didn't want to pretend we could afford half the stuff at Green Hills we would pile in the car and head out to the real mall. Cool Springs Galleria is complete with all the shiny, glowy crap stores that we wanted to peruse. It also has the other mall standards like a food court and multiple department stores. My favorite thing was that they had a pet store so I could pop in and hug a rabbit for a while, but that store has since shut down. I can understand how not many people want to go to the mall for such a large, expensive commitment as one of their pedigree pups. I'm mildly obsessed with Cozymel's salsa (who cares if they're a chain they got it right!) so I always make sure to go across the bridge to buy some while I'm over in that part of town. read more

Cool Springs Galleria is like the Opryland Mall for locals. Pretty much every possible standard selection of store to make short work of your shopping needs. However, stay away from here between Thanksgiving and New Years. During that time the crowds are amazingly thick. I used to work around the corner from the mall and I swear it would add an extra 20 minutes to the afternoon commute during that point in the year. The food court was recently re-done. There is plenty of seating, and a good selection of food vendors, too. read more

I live 25 minutes from Franklin but am down in Cool Springs frequently for Costco runs and shopping in general. The Nashville area has 5 major malls (not including Bellevue which is failing) and Cool Springs is probably the most well rounded in it's offerings. Some are tourist traps, some really have targeted household with six figure + incomes, and some to me seem to be a haven for unsupervised scantily clad youth with abysmal manners. Cool Springs is the most diverse in it's offerings of standard mall retailers as well has the most anchor department stores of all the area malls. That being said, it's crowded most weekends but if you are really needing to do a big shopping spree and don't want to drive all over kingdom come, this is probably your best bet. It's also very clean and for the most part everyone behaves themselves. read more

I worked at this mall for years, and years, and years, it seems... so I hate to love it, but I have to admit that for around here, it's a bloody good place to shop. There are all the usual suspects like The Gap and Macys, Banana Republic, Express and Abercrombie, but there are also some stores that are not so widespread throughout town like Fossil and B. Moss and Pottery Barn. The mall has changed over the years, but not as much as the surrounding area. It spawned Cool Springs, which is still technically not a city, but shared by Brentwood and Franklin, but it does have a post office now. There's everything you could wish for in this little area and it just keeps expanding and expanding (like the universe in the Monty Python song). read more

I'm with Mariela C. 100% on this. If I lived closer to Cool Springs, this would be my mall of choice. Unlike many of the stores at Green Hills, I can actually afford the clothing sold here. The stores actually hold sales, praise be, and I benefit from it every trip. I'm going to recommend you scourer the clearance shelves at Banana Republic, because you will find a deal. I love being able to promise that to people. Their Gap is bigger than some Gaps I've been to in the past, so I enjoy not plowing into people at every turn. The mall has a your standard food court as well. I've always enjoyed visiting Cool Springs Galleria, and I'm sure within the next few weeks I'll be back again. read more

Nice mall. Very clean and modern. Fairly quiet with ample seating to chill when needed. The Dillards Mens section is the place to shop especially when things are on clearance. Lots of parking this Wednesday afternoon. read more

Aside from not having a Nordstrom Rack, this mall is pretty solid. The recent addition of H&M (I'm not much for the American Girl except for nostalgic reasons.) adds a pretty decent clothing selection. The Forever 21 is awesome and has a ton of variety. Go get Happy Hour at The Cheesecake Factory and make a nice day of shopping! read more

I recently visited Dilliard's in Cool Springs Galleria while on vacation. I have experienced racism before, but never to this extent. I needed to find an evening gown and a dinner dress. I was followed around the store the entire time. After I picked out the two dresses that I liked, a young lady took them out of my hands (literally) and walked towards the register. I informed her that I was not ready to check out because I needed to buy shoes and asked for the dresses back. She told me to come back after I bought the shoes. I explained to her that I needed the dresses to match the shoes to it and she very hesitantly gave the dresses back. Once in the shoe department, the young lady refused to help me, but helped every other Caucasian lady that appeared. I will not be giving Dillard's another dime of my money. I left angry and frustrated. read more

Was here Saturday and for some reason....it's kinda losing a bit of the spunk. I first visited here back in 2011 and it was awesome. Came here Saturday and was like...meeeeh. I then discovered that a new ladies clothing boutique was no longer there :-(. Now they're bringing a Belk to Cool Springs? BAD IDEA! They should leave Belk( which was originally Mcrae's) and their depressing atmosphere in Mississippi. On a good note, I had never shopped at Aldo's until this past Saturday and they had an awesome sale going on! Copped a hot pair of heels and a SWEET hangbag for $48. The saleman(kindy heavy set sweetheart with glasses) was the perfect salesman. Hell, give him a raise!!! read more

Not a bad place to shop, most of the stores I'd usually encounter in a suburban mall. No Dillards in Chicago, which is probably a good thing because I spent WAY too much at the one here:) Something weird I noticed while shopping...there were SO many men standing around waiting for women who were trying on clothes. In Limited alone, I counted 7 standing there (and the store was not busy at all) looking pissed off/annoyed. I cannot begin to understand why you would bring a manfriend/husband shopping with you. Mmmmm, early 90's suburban mall development...if you love the movie Mallrats or just appreciate a well-kept monument to capitalism and commercialism, come visit Cool Springs Galleria. It's a relatively standard mall --anchor stores including Dillard's, Sears, JC Penney, etc and a smattering of boutiques, notables including Banana Republic, Johnston and Murphy, Apple, David Parker Shoes, Williams-Sonoma, Pottery Barn and a few other gems --otherwise it's standard mall fare. For the love of God avoid like the plague at Christmastime unless you're a masochist and enjoy traveling at a speed measured in feet per hour through the parking lots and surrounding roads. read more

Cool Springs Galleria is a fairly large, traditional, regional shopping mall. On the plus side, it's well maintained and clean. Many of the floor surfaces are carpeted, so it's quieter inside than many malls, and thus a more relaxing experience. On the minus side, some of the stores have limited selections in stock. Even going up to Green Hills, I find deeper selections of sizes and styles. This is true of the anchor stores as well as the specialty ones. But, overall, as a big regional mall, it's pretty good. read more

my review of the galleria is specific to how kid friendly it is. mall opens @ 6:30am everyday for stroller walking if you're into this. The mall has a nice play area made out of foamposite so you're little one won't get hurt if she/he takes a tumbles. lots of fun for little ones. a good selection of token, mini-rides too. make sure to check out the vintage carousel towards the Sears end of the mall. a great spot to take your little one if it's nasty out and you need to get out of the house. good selection of kid specific retailers if you need to do some shopping... read more

The Cool Springs Galleria mall is the epitome of gross, cheap and dirty American consumerism. Are you looking for the most generic store that you can think of, like a Wet Seal or Hot Topic or Abercrombie? Then you have come to the right mall. Are you looking for a mall that contains hip, independent, yet trendy stores? You have NOT come to the right mall. Are you looking for posh, high end affair or even high end national retailers? Then you have NOT come to the right mall. Cool Springs mall is ick as far as I am concerned. It is surrounded by nothing but massive chain restaurants and strip mall after strip mall of folks who have invested in franchises of national conglomerates. Look I love me some shopping and love me some American consumerism, but this place is gross. read more

This mall is ok. Im from Vegas where everything is over the top and consumers are over stimulated by everything and it doesnt disappoint. Cool springs galleria is the basic middle american mall. If you need something quick, this is where you go. If you need something special you go to green hills or shop out of state. And I agree with John g, stear clear of this place during the holidays. People come out of the wood works, and I get so cranky with all the traffic. I have to add at least 15 minutes to mu commute for work. read more

This mall is one of the basic, well-known malls in TN, with the usual regular mall stores such as Bath & Body Works and Hot Topic. The mall is always kept clean, and there is always plenty of parking (unless it's the holiday season). If you don't want to be run over by hordes of teens, don't come here during the summer...they will just run you down. Holiday shopping depends on your timing...some days the mall will be full and some parking will be available, other days it's packed to the brim. There are a few kiosks that like to hassle you in order to get you to come over and check out their products (namely the Dead Sea kiosks). Otherwise, it's a nice mall. The food court has a nice variety to it (John's Burgers has the best fries I've ever eaten!), I used to work for Victoria's Secret, so stop in there and shop around...the staff goes out of their way to take care of their customers! Mall-walkers would LOVE this mall. It's like a perfectly sized two story track! BUT I'm not a mall-walker. ;) The only reason I'd stop by this mall is if I just happened to be in the area or I was looking for something specifically found there. I have been there a few times and it has always been pretty crowded and busy which I'm not a huge fan of. It's still a good mall but with the limited selection of stores and space (small mall), it's not one I'll frequent. read more

just wanted to let people know what I went through purchasing a mattress with Macys. we purchased a queen mattress like we had done many times from Macys. This time it was for a guest room which was hardly to be used. a long story short the mattress was defective. we tried to get customer service through Macys Customer Service dept. for almost 1 year with no avail. the terrible people they have overseas who can barely speak English or hang up on you because they are afraid of a bad review was unbearable. Finally Bonnie at the Corporate Office in Ohio said she would get me to the right person and that never happened. she also promised my credit card would be credited and that never happened either. I got lip service at it's finest. promises of returned phone calls, never happened. I use to be a great!, customer but not anymore. I will take my business elsewhere. At a year I finally got the store Manager in Franklin, TN named Meagan. This young girl took on the ordeal and made things happen. I returned the mattress, got my money back but the best part was when she said she would call back or follow through, she did. If this girl is smart she will find another company to be loyal to. Sorry Macys, no more money from me! read more

The trick to enjoying this mall is to go during Holiday time when the anchor stores are open by 7-8am, and there is no one there...... The corridors are empty, you can dance down them without seeing another soul.. but you have to go really early.. AND you can get a parking spot fairly close to the store doors! Seriously! The people who run Kiosks are there early, as well.. I don't think I would venture out to this place at noon... I have a feeling there will be no parking places, and the corridors will be clogged with people that are there to just meander.. To fully enjoy this mall, go really early or during the week - really early. This was my first venture into this mall, and I will wait until next Christmas to go to the mall REALLY early.. This mall is the "spot" but overall its an amazing and clean mall and has everything you need!! Parking is pretty decent and its a decent size. The foot locker is amazing all of the employees are sooo nice and friendly!!! read more

Mall mall mall, if you've seen one you've seen em all. At least in my opinion. I guess it was big, not sure, plenty of stores etc etc.

Love the mall it's a great place to hang out always wanted to go there even as a kid for my birthday. However on god place in there food court lost them a star because they like scamming their customer. Pyramid Cafe They said we will give you a discount for coming to eat here. The cashier said $21.58 was our totally and she could t get the register to work. A guy comes over and the price magically jumps to $25 dollars what that is bullshit. Like how did it jump and he said oh it was tax she misspoke and sorry sorry. It's ridiculous said we get a discount for eating there and then get a different price jump. It's bullshit the two meals and they can't figure out price. I have been in the food industry for over 15 years and if you can't work the register you shouldn't be on it cook food wrap do something else do not be on register. If it weren't so far away from my house, Cool Springs Galleria would probably be my most frequented mall. Any store that is worth anything is either in Cool Springs or in the immediate vicinity. Clearly Macy's giant sales racks are usually the aim I have in mind when making the trek out to Cool Springs, but they also have a Charlotte Russe which is a favorite of mine for going out clothes that I'm only going to be able to wear once because it will inevitable fall apart in the wash. All in all I think Cool Springs is the most comprehensive mall in the area. read more

You'd think this mall would be on par with the snootiness Green Hills Mall gives off, but I like Cool Springs Galleria. I'm not in Franklin that often, but when I am I usually find myself killing time here. The place is always clean and tidy, crowds aren't too huge, and they seem have a few stores for everyone here, not just accomodating to one crowd. There are some pretty bad reviews below, but I think they're forgetting something... it's a mall. You can't have high expectations for them anymore, just a little bit of nostalgia. read more

Food court is filthy and disgusting. Tables are dirty food on the floor. If this was a restaurant it would get shut down. Seems like there's no air conditioning over there roasting hot. read more

This mall has made some nice updates and it's clear they have invested capital to improve the appearance and make it more of a destination to attract more people. It could use a few more elevators but still it's a good mall and has good restaurants inside and surrounding area read more

Cool Springs Galleria is probably the easiest mall to get in and out of in the Nashville area because of the easy access off of I-65. It has many of the stores that you would expect in a typical mall with a handful of other stores sprinkled in between. I'm particularly partial to it because of it's proximity to where I live. I remember the day the land where the galleria currently sits was just farmland so needless to say the area has really grown over the past 15 years in large thanks to CSG. read more

More affordable than green hills. Stores for everyone in the family. Very large. Amazing food court (drooling just thinking about it). I'm going to go hang out here for my birthday. Cool Springs Galleria is a lot cheaper than Green Hills Mall or the Hill Center, but they have a lot of choices. Honestly, it attracts a different type of crowd, but this is where I go if I want something new. I feel like I dress like an old woman so its nice to go to a mall that feels younger. This Mall is another have to go to when your in the Nashville area. We were actually stop here along with opry mills mall which is very touristy, green hill is very high end and rivergate mall is a nice mix. great shopping in Nashville area and we always hit this mall when in town. We try to come to nashville at least 2 to 3 times a year. two stories of shopping with a cheesecake factory and American girl store to boot. they did something really smart when they lost their sears so kudos to the mall management! read more

Best mall around ! Kid and family friendly ! Lots of good stores to shop anything you need! And off course the food choices around ! I lost my stuff the evening before and the next day I contacted guest service . The security personnel had kept the stuff safely and I got in touch with them. I was so so happy when I found my lost stuff and the staff were so gracious and wonderful .
