OMG i was so happy to have started a membership here - Until today! Nicole is a horrible host she was rude and disrespectful, if shes bartending I don't recommend coming here and I'm canceling my membership effective immediately. I cannot believe how unprofessional she was and how combative she was. Ive never had an issue using all my tastings in one sitting and today, all of a sudden i can only have one tasting per visit? How does that make sense? Nicole has been the worst server ive ever experienced. EDIT: please see the OWNERS response and the screenshot. Not sure what I was asking that was Not allowed!? Ive never had an issue using getting my 8 tastings in one sitting, please upload the video of the interaction Id love to see it!! And see how Nicole WAS RUDE TO me first. Please upload the video recording. The fact the OWNER stooped that low to a client, be wary guys! Dont give these people business, who knows maybe because im Hispanic? Also if she felt so uncomfortable, why, did she open my bottle? Crazy. People cant take feedback! Dont come Here and support racism!

Thursday nights at Coombers Wine Bar in Vista are so much fun! Come out and enjoy an evening of live music as talented local musicians perform a wonderful variety of songs. Host Raynaldo Martine creates a welcoming supportive atmosphere that makes every performance special. Open Mic runs from 6:00-9:00pm. Great music, great wine, and a great way to spend a Thursday evening!

Fun night out on a Sunday and this place was busy- maybe it was the live band, open patio or the wine- or all! But we came with a group- and we all enjoyed the wine and music. Open patio- we did see some dogs, well behaved kiddos and lots enjoying the vibes here. They do have a wine membership- so if you're interested. They also have a few bites to purchase or they are near restaurants and you can order or bring in your own food! We had a mixed flight and enjoy - I liked the Cab the best

Hosted a friend's retirement get together. We enjoyed tastings, live music, and a lively afternoon. Food menus from nearby restaurants were provided.

So glad we finally have a nice place to go in Vista to enjoy a few glasses of wine with live music 7 nights a week. Wine is great. Staff is great. Wish they were open a little later but I was told it was a city/permit issue.

Red and white flight! So amazing!

We strolled over to the tasting room and went with a mixed tasting flight. Our server was amazing, while I do not really enjoy the more tannin mouthfeel wines and prefer the sweeter ones, my wife really enjoys the opposite of me. Our server was intent on finding something that I enjoyed, and turned me on to the wine slushy, which was refreshing, and perfect and scarily good! We also decided to eat dinner here, and we shared a Harvest Salad (Spring Mix, Apples, Dried Cranberries, Goat Cheese, Mixed Nuts, Julie's Balsamic Vinaigrette). and we split a pizza that was half Blanca (Ricotta, Mozzarella, Lemon Olive Oil, Fresh Herbs, Hot Honey, Truffle Oil), and half The Papa B (Tomato sauce, Mozzarella, Fontina, pepperoni, Jalapenos, Onions). We asked for it a little crispy, and parts of it were really sort of burnt, but 100% would order again, hold the ask for a "little crispy" next time lol. The ambiance here was nice, it is dog friendly so there were several dogs lounging around and hanging out, the tasting room has both a nice indoor bar area, with table seating all around, as well as a pretty decent sized outdoor area that has shade cover and lots of tables. They had live music outside, and it was great that it added to the ambiance, without being overpowering and not allowing for conversation. Great little place will happily revisit!

The wine itself is great! They have a HEAVY pour which I appreciate. I like their sweet rose, which is definitely very sweet. You can also buy bottles for a pretty affordable price. My only wish is that they stayed open past 7pm in the summer so you can stay for the sunset. I went on Sunday though, so maybe on Fri/Sat they are open later.

There are two parking lots that we saw, one closer to the bottom which was gravel but would require a walk up two flights of stairs, or there's a lot closer to the tasting room (paved) but is more limited. We were able to snag a spot up at the top luckily. They have a two sample limit & then you can buy drinks by the bottle or glass. The day we went they were having a 25% off bottle sale. There was only one employee we saw during the entirety of our visit but he was super friendly. We ordered a bottle, the charcuterie platter and a pizza. The charcuterie board is refrigerated and they provide a bag of crackers as well. We went with the veggie pizza & it took maybe 20 minutes to come out and was absolutely delicious. The grounds themselves are absolutely gorgeous. There are 3 covered areas to sit at up top with plenty of seating. Down the first flight of stairs has a fish pond and some beautiful areas to walk around. I'm not sure if that area was where they do weddings as there was also a spot across the way with a dais, but we didn't make it over there. The wine was delicious! We tried two of the whites and the sweet rosé. I'm not normally a rosé fan, but it was my favorite wine I had there. Overall we had a really relaxing time with beautiful views. I highly recommend checking out Sunshine Mountain Vineyard.

Owners, Kim & George, are very friendly and offer up a huge selection of white and red wines. Parking can be a challenge. If there are no spaces open at the top of the hill, you'll have to park along the side of a steep driveway. The one plus is that they do have a golf cart that will run people up and down the hill, but I don't know if that's always available. The tasting room is average size, but there is a spiral staircase that leads to a large upstairs patio (uncovered) with incredible views. You can certainly enjoy a glass or bottle up there and take in the amazing views...all the way to the ocean! WINES: The Beach House property is 4 acres total, with 2 acres planted with grapes. On our last visit, the tasting menu listed 14 wines (whites, rosé, and reds), and we even tried a couple that weren't on the menu. The wines are well made, and some that we've purchased in the past have laid down well in our cellar. I always state, individuals' palates can be very different than mine, but I'm pretty sure there will be a wine you'll enjoy. I recommend you visit and check them out for yourselves. I think you'll enjoy it. NOTE: They're only open on Saturdays/Sundays.

The panoramic views from the rooftop patio are breathtaking, offering a serene backdrop of rolling vineyards and the distant ocean. It's the perfect setting for a relaxing afternoon of wine tasting. The wines here are diverse. Each varietal is thoughtfully crafted, showcasing the winery's dedication to quality. We particularly enjoyed the Tempranillo and Syrah, both rich and flavorful. The owners are welcoming, and knowledgeable, making the tasting experience both enjoyable and informative. Their passion for winemaking is evident and adds a personal touch to the visit. The winery is also the owners' residence, which adds a charming, personal feel to the experience. Don't worry about limited parking at the top, one of the owners (the very kind husband!) will happily and safely drive you up and down the hill in a golf cart. Such a thoughtful touch and much appreciated! I'm looking forward to coming back to try more wines, and to check out the pizza vendor they had on-site. It looked and smelt amazing! Great wine, stunning views, and a friendly atmosphere, what more could you ask for?

I'm glad this place gives me the space to do that. I want to go back to try different dishes and wines, browse the shops, and save room for dessert! Perhaps I will come on a Friday since they have a farmer's market that day from 9am-1 pm! I had a date night and went on a Saturday, 2 hours before closing. We ordered Calabrese Pizza, Apple & Gorgonzola Pizza, Parmesan Fries, and Rigatoni & Vodka Sauce Pasta. My goodness, everything was GOOD! The Apple & Gorgonzola Pizza was my favorite, pure perfection of flavors. I know there's always a debate with pineapple on pizza but this apple and gorgonzola makes sense, I don't think anyone would ever question it. The parmesan fries was so yummy as well, you get a HEFTY amount. We actually didn't finish a good amount and took this home along with a few slices of pizza. Pasta was delicious as well, there was leftover pasta sauce that we just scooped up with the crust of the pizza. The ambience - amazing and beautiful. It is pretty spread out. I've only been here a couple times but I was able to find a table both times aside from the good amount of people the times I've came. We sat inside the tasting room and the food came out promptly. I do love that on hot days they will turn their misters on, great touch Way to keep us cool! We decided to do the Traditional Wine Tasting where you get six 1.5 oz pours of your choice for $32. Also, you can get free chocolate to pair with your wine at the dessert shop. Delicious, everything I ordered was what I needed. Everyone here just seems incredibly nice. From the people who took your order at the Kitchen, food runners, pourers, even the lady at the dessert shop (even though we didn't get any dessert lol) was friendly. We wanted to get dessert, but we had 15 minutes left till closing, however she didn't rush us out the outside area. I saw that there was a sugar free pistachio gelato flavor. I love that, seems like it was a hit because it was nearly all out! Next time I do go, I definitely want to try that and their cannolis!!! I love Cannolis. Anyways, back to the wine tasting, I believe her name is Cecilia (?), She was great. Great service along with the other pourer at the counter. I did not catch her name but she has blonde short hair and was very nice and friendly as well! Overall, 10/10, & I will be back very soon.
