I find my children's vaccination records, upcoming and previous visits, prescriptions, medical professionals who have provided care for my children from all the different facilities. Dr. Mcfadden is great! She has a warm and caring bedside manner approach and is a fantastic active listener. The office is large and I have never had issues with parking. The nurses are sweet and I feel the staff offer quality service. My son 3, once injured his forehead (huge bump and slight bleed) playing with friends. I called the practice and was able to do an assessment with a RN over the phone saving us a trip to the ER or Urgent Care. I definitely recommend.

All it did was prove to sure up their existing business model. After calling early in the morning and being told I would get a call back about my daughter being seen. Let me restate... my children's only pediatrician is CHOP. They were born in a CHOP hospital and have only seen CHOP pediatricians from this office for their entire lives so don't believe the hype they literally treat everyone this awful. I didn't get a call back until 3pm! And when I requested an appointment I was told that if I could go to urgent care... There is literally no point to having a doctor who's only recommendation is to go to urgent care when you are sick. I am a fully grown adult person... I am aware emergency rooms exist and urgent care exists. I don't need that kind of help. This was not an emergency but is something that a doctor should look at to keep from it getting so bad I actually do need to take my child to the emergency room. I am switching from CHOP. These large hospital systems don't care about people... they care about money. I would hope that since they deal with children that would not be the case. Yet again my optimism was misplaced. Awful

Once you finally do make it in for your child's appointment, get ready for even more attitude. They will make you stand there and wait while they gossip behind the glass, and file their nails. Then, because they're not paying attention, they will call you back up to the glass for information THEY forgot to take from you (then blame you for not telling them how to do their jobs). In fact, these documents had been hand delivered previously and the office lost them but instead of admitting their mistake, they took on an attitude that I was lying. We had gone to a lot of trouble to make sure they had those documents prior to the visit, so it was very troubling that not only did they not know where they were, but that they were so accusatory in their manner. The nurse that took us back for our well visit got nasty with us when we stated that our child needed a certain amount of shots for school and the nurse corrected us and we said that no, we think it's X amount and that's when her tone got very nasty. We didn't mean to offend her or question her credibility, we were mistaken & we said as much. Her tone never changed. The Dr. was nice enough, mostly you could tell she had a script to follow of things that she's supposed to say at every well checkup visit and it sounded forced. Could have done without the nutritional speech & what constitutes a "healthy snack" (been parenting for 27 yrs) but she was respectful of our child. The dr. got a little more animated when we declined a certain shot but in the end respected our decision after having us explain it, which was unnecessary. Overall, the Dr. was good, the nurse that gave the shots was good, the nurse (different from shot nurse) who took us back to the room was rude & front staff were condescending. Will be looking for a new practice.

However, in today's day and age it is a rarity to find a caring, personable doctor. Cadoro has only two pediatricians on staff, but they manage to handle the workload, you never have to wait too long and in case of an emergency, they always manage to take you in. Both Dr. Monaco and Dr. Chen clear care about their patients, make them feel comfortable and actually remember everything and anything that may pertain to your child - not only their medical history, but their preferences, fears, comfort level, etc. We've been going to Cadoro for close to two years and I don't foresee getting another pediatrician. PS: Although they take most common insurance, co-payments are accepted as cash only!
